hi i am now going to post how terrible the service is at Renogy. It has been over 6 weeks and i have no resolution to the failed MPPT controller. Renogy continually comes up with more and more BS tests that prove nothing. what does exist is simple fact; blue sky, mppt does not register any ***** or current coming from the failed mppt controller. i insert my spare and voila i have charging current. so why is it that Renogy can not simply replace the failed controller. as you stated you want to provide service. then do so i would suggest to anyone reading this review. NEVER EVER buy Renogy you can not and never will get warranty. when I was working it was called tail light warranty. so buyer beware. even when a review is posted, Renogy continues to come up with excuses as to why then can not honour thier warranty. i have a friend that was 2-1/2 months getting warranty. he eventually went to the Blue guys (*******) they have been excellantReview fromAshley C

1 starAnother negative experience. I purchased something with a tight deadline but plenty of time for shipping. Upon checking out I was prompted to Not use my mailing address at my PO Box. So I chose to use my physical (usually implying the carrier uses *** or ****** and knowing only those two would deliver to the physical address.) well it ships and they used **** which is the only carrier that won't deliver to my physical address and the address is technically not even registered with the postal service. Yet we need to wait a week till it's undeliverable and then wait for them to GET the item back before refunding or replacing the item. Extremely poor customer service. No reason I couldn't have used my PO box if you are shipping with ****!Review fromChris L

1 starReceived the Renogy 400W 12V Solar Panel Starter Kit yesterday. The packaging was damaged -- partly crushed -- and the corner protectors of three panels damaged/missing. ****** said call Renogy; Renogy said call Amazon -- you get the drift of the game. The problem with relying on Amazon vendors is the tech support is almost always non-existent (Renogy tech support # listed on ****** disconnected) and there seems to be a lack of common-sense resolutions to simple problems. GETTING ANYTHING DONE THROUGH ****** OR VENDORS LIKE RENOGY TAKES FOREVER !!! Upshot for this problem -- Saturday installation cancelled, flushing a cool 250 bucks down the loo. A 400-dollar system is suddenly 650 dollars on the books expended and still not installed. Booked in the accounting system as a loss and UTP -- Uneconomic To Proceed. Not worth throwing any additional money at. The kit was put on the shelf in our storage container...Review fromBob M

I tried chatting with Renogy with their text, but they don't get back to you. I called them and asked them about hooking their 200W Shadowflux Anti-Shading N-TYPE Solar Panel to a Zamp ATP Single Roof Port. The guy I talked to didn't know what I was talking about. When the Shadowflux Anti-Shading N-TYPE Solar Panel became available today (2/1/25) I was ordering them. But I couldn't"t find out how to pay for them with my credit card. Again I tried there Chat, but no one got back to me.They had all those other payment things there I don"t use. I was trying ******, but they want you to set up an account which I don"t want. So I order the Renogy 200W Shadowflux Anti-Shading N-TYPE Solar Panel from ******. Renogy wanted a couple dollars more on their website today compared to when I went in and put my name on the waiting list yesterday. The 200W Shadowflux Anti-Shading N-TYPE Solar Panel are more expensive on ******.Renogy

Purchased an RV with a Renogy system fully hooked up. Seemed like a dream come true at first. But as we started working with this system, we found it was faulty. We tried for over a month to figure it out, we have been doing tireless research to try and figure out what the problem is. The panel says we lose more power than we gain throughout the day, and the alarm always goes off somewhere between 50% and 60% indicating low battery warning. Weve tried to contact customer support multiple times to try and get some understanding as to what is going on. Is it the battery? Is the panel wrong? Is the charge controller faulty? Are the solar panels bad? We have no idea!! Because Renogy customer support is abysmal. They give generic answers or direct us to the troubleshooting page. Weve been dealing with this for a month and have not received any helpful advice. We are totally new to this and need help figuring this out, but as it stands, we will be replacing our Renogy system with a different one and figuring it out ourselves.Renogy

I have been trying to get a replacement under warranty for a faulty device for two months now. Their customer service is horrendous and they move at a snails pace. Initially they told me they couldnt find the order. I had to spend 2 weeks proving to them I had a device under warranty. When they finally admitted to their mistake, it took another week to print a return shipping label. Then the label they sent me was for the wrong product (a smart TV rather than Renogy One M1). When they finally gave me the right shipping label and I returned the device, they held onto it for 2 weeks for testing. They finally said okay it is broken and needs to be replaced, and I am now in limbo waiting for them to ship the replacement and send me a tracking number. Two months in total so far. I havent been able to monitor the batteries or solar system on my camper van for 2 months.Renogy

Wish I could give negative 5 stars. Ordered over 2k worth of panels. Received only 2. Rest show delivered in ******** - mind you I live in ****. They are like "We need to review with our logistics team for 2-5 days and will get back with you" Feels like I've been the victim of a bait and switch fraudulent thing. Will never order from them again. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I just want my money back at this point.Renogy

I had purchased the Rover 60A MPPT for a solar project I was working on. The device was acting weird in a variety of ways. No big deal, things happen... I contacted customer support and after several weeks of providing measurements, pictures and videos of the settings on the device, it was deemed defective by Renogy personnel and I was told that I would be issued a full refund and I could dispose of the device. Luckily I did not. Then, nothing... I didn't hear back for several months. I tried calling constantly, only for my call to be dropped after waiting in queue for hours. Eventually I received two or three emails back to back and, without giving me a chance to see them, they closed the case and marked it as "resolved". I called back, finally got ahold of someone, and they opened another case for the same issue. They told me that I would have to send in the device so the engineers could test if it was defective or not. Since previous Renogy personnel deemed the device to be defective, I was confident that I would see my refund. A couple weeks later, the engineers claimed that the device was not broken and that some of the parameters were set wrong. If this was actually the case, why was this not brought up during troubleshooting earlier? I was told that I would have to now pay for the return for this device, despite everything previously mentioned. It had been about 8 months at this point and I had replaced the device with one from another brand. I strongly asked for a refund and the 'best' they could do was a refund with 30% depreciation. I feel like this company profited off of me. They gave me the run around for months. Their components aren't high quality enough to deal with all of ******* advice: spend the extra money and purchase something from a better company, such as *******. Some components may work for you but heaven forbid if they actually break. You will be pulling your hair out at the end of it.Renogy
