    I began working with WebNortics in Feb 2023 after hiring them to build a website that needed to 2 things:1) Integrate scheduling software from another site so customers redirected 2) have a shopping cart, commerce option for my retail The salesperson over the phone told me they can do everything I need for $350.I was promptly given a design worksheet and asked that the site be done in 6-8 weeks. The initial design phase went quickly. March 2023 we started working on integrations and functionality. At this point, the work started to move at a snails pace. I was then told I would need to spend $1000 on an API to make the integration for my site to work securely . I asked why the widget provided by my scheduling software wouldnt work. It was explained that the cost was the only way to make sure customers could schedule safely without having security risk when entering card payments. I reluctantly paid to ensure security of customers. I did not get a receipt, just a charge to my card from Tekversify on 3/24.July 7th 2023, after 20 weeks of back and forth waiting on simple things with editing, content, layout etc. I was fed up and asked them to make the site live so I could start to work with someone local. After making it live I began noticing that the site wasnt working and the integration for customers didnt function as promised. When I reached out I was then told it was because my website wasnt secure. I asked what/where I would need and why I paid $1k for this to have it not work. I also noticed the site loaded oddly, the Mobile didnt work, etc. Basically, it was still a mess and I was out of time. The whole process has been a complete waste of time and money and I will need to hire someone to start over.
