DIVORCE WAS MISHANDLED HORRIBLY. We paid the full fee, and they did nothing. Never kept us updated....nothing. When we were finally able to get a hold of them, they claimed that "The court lost the paperwork." First, I don't believe it. Second, why weren't we told in a timely fashion. We wasted money on NOTHING. Now, we have paid another attorney to fix this. Nothing was done. Nothing was filed. I am furious.

First and foremost, the person that filed this complaint is not our client, but rather the estranged spouse of our client on the other side of a divorce proceeding. She is also not the person who paid our fee. Our office handled the divorce paperwork for our client M****** **********. in a proper and timely fashion. Unfortunately, after the final Judgment documents had been submitted (last step of the process) the Ventura county court's office misplaced/lost some of the documents that were mailed to them. This is not an unusual occurrence as many court are short-staffed and the paperwork, once received by the court, gets transferred multiple times between different clerks' desks during processing. Our office received a phone call from the Court Clerk's office on July 11, 2023 indicating that part of the final judgment paperwork was missing and they could not locate it on their end. That same day we immediately contacted our client (not the person who has submitted this complaint) and told him what happened. We requested that he re-sign his final judgment documents and forward by mail so we could resubmit an entire new complete package to the court. We indicated we would assist in resubmitting the paperwork at no additional charge, even though this required extra staff time and was of no fault of our office. Our office did not hear from the client so we again emailed the client on 7/17/2023 requesting that he and his estranged spouse re-sign and mail to our office the documents. It is now a month later and we still have not received newly signed documents. On July 2 5th we received a telephone call from the client's spouse's attorney, We immediately emailed the client informing him of this. On July 31t we received another telephone call from the client's spouse's attorney. We again emailed the client regarding this. As we are only a document preparation service, we have no authority to talk to anyone other than our client regarding their case. The client's estranged spouse has now attempted to smear our name and blame our office for the court losing the final documents, which we had absolutely no control over, and which both she and her spouse have neglected to re-sign and provide our office for submission for over one month.  In the meantime, our client's estranged spouse has posted numerous negative reviews regarding this, even though she was not our client, did not pay our office and is blaming us for something that we did not do.
