I had a stroke one week after my husband and I arrived in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. My stepson flew down to help my husband while I was hospitalized and “out of it.” He found my EA+ card among my things and called. EA+ sent a traveling nurse who was wonderful. He made arrangements for us to fly home to Syracuse, NY, traveled with us handling all the arrangements, and went to our home with us. Amazingly, I never saw a bill for these services, including the first-class plane fare for me and my husband. I'll be forever grateful to EA+ and won't travel without it!Emergency Assistance Plus

While we were visiting our daughter in California, my husband had a stroke. I called EA, and was told about all the services available. Sadly, my husband died. EA paid for the mortuary and cremation fees. They offered to arrange for my transportation home and to ship his ashes as well, but I didn’t need that help. I will always be grateful that EA was there when I needed them. I will continue to recommend them to my friends.Emergency Assistance Plus

First trip after pandemic to fish and birdwatch. On the first afternoon after arriving in Port Clinton, OH, my husband had a massive heart attack while climbing stairs to our condo accommodations, He died before the EMT's could arrive, and they were quick. I was away from home, now alone, with my husband's body to get home to Cincinnati. I called EA+ from the hospital while we were waiting for the coroner to arrive. The person on the phone went into immediate help mode, gave me a case number, and once I gave the information about where my husband's body was being taken, and our funeral home in Cincinnati, they helped me arrange and paid for transportation of my husband's body back to Cincinnati. The funeral home in Cincinnati told me he had never had a company be in such a hurry to pay them for their services and were quite impressed. I told my brother, a CEO, about what EA+ had done to help me, and urged him to look into coverage for himself, since he traveled out of the country a lot and that it might be a good thing for him. He did look into it and signed up for the coverage. EA+ helped me know what to do to get my husband's body home and as referenced above, paid for the transportation, his cremation, and some death certificates. It was a real comfort to me in a difficult time.Emergency Assistance Plus

My wife fell ill and passed away while we were vacationing in Germany. She spent 5 days in the hospital in Bremerhaven before passing, My daughter joined me in Germany upon hearing of her hospitalization, and was a big help to me in communicating with EA Plus. EA Plus was assisting us during the whole process. EA Plus covered the all of the expenses of the local funeral office including the cost of the special casket required for her transportation home and the cost of the flight itself. EA Plus also covered the cost of my flight and that of my daughter. They could not have been more gracious or helpful in the most difficult time of my life. They were available every time we called with questions about what to do next. We could never had handled it by ourselves. Many thanks to EA Plus.Emergency Assistance Plus

My father, was a subscriber to your plan for many years.. He was still traveling and at 91 yrs. old he wanted the extra medical assurance. While in San Jose Del Cabo, he fell and suffered bad contusions on both shins and arms and required stitches in his head. I flew down to see him as his condition worsened. He was transported to the hospital and that is where the invaluable services of EA+ come into play. I was aware of the plan and Dad had brought the booklet. He wanted to come back to CO, USA. I called EA+ they had a US doctor talk to the ER physician within an hour. She then called me on my cell and explained that my dad’s condition was much worse than we had expected and couldn’t be transported back home. Due to some language barriers, she explained everything. Needless to say, my dad passed away 3 days later. EA+ rep was so considerate, kind and calm. I immediately knew I was in good hands. I heard from him daily and sometimes twice...we had to make funeral arrangements, EA+ took care of the payment and was in contact with them. Also, they offered to pay for our airfare home, etc. We were in shock and just wanted to stay down there for a while. I so appreciated their compassionate services at a most difficult time. I couldn’t have made it without it. This year we also subscribed to EA+ due to our out of country vacations. We can travel with peace of mind if anything should happen. EA got me home with a nurse from CO to my home in Northern New England. I was picked up at the hospital and flew home with a drain and an IV. EA took care of all the arrangements. They stayed in touch my whole week in the hospital. We can not say enough about them.Emergency Assistance Plus

My husband and I are retired and would not be comfortable traveling overseas without this coverage. We were on an 86 day cruise in 2018. He was taken off the ship by ambulance on day 16 and spent a week in a hospital in Kobe Japan. Because of the seriousness of his condition we were not permitted to rejoin the cruise. Without EA plus we would have been on the hook for the plane fare home. I would highly recommend this coverage to anyone who travels .Emergency Assistance Plus

EA+ is the best! While vacationing in Florida, my wife had a heart attack and passed away. A simple phone call was all it took. They arranged with a local funeral home to prepare the body, and arranged a flight back to Wisconsin for both of us. EA+ took care of everything.Emergency Assistance Plus
