      I bought a car through credit lending services. I made payments and I was nearly done with paying off my car and I was in a huge accident that totaled the car out. We settled on an amount through insurance.Now 2 years later Credit lead services is trying to go after me for the whole amount of what that car used to be valued at: over $17,000 I Need to dispute this this is no longer my debt

      Credit Lending Services does not sell cars.  We are an indirect finance company.  ****************** purchased a vehicle from L & S Automotive, LLC and we financed it for her.  She did get in an accident but the insurance claim was denied. The insurance company never paid of the vehicle.  We have been trying to collect the balance of the loan since and have had to hire an attorney to get paid.  We have yet to be paid for the vehicle that ****************** financed.

      I am rejecting this response because this no longer falls on myself to take accountability of action for a claim that should have been covered by insurance. The party at fault for this, had insurance explain to me on the phone the option I opted for: would have covered my loan AND she informed me the check sent would cover medical expenses for injuries, due to the severity of accident. This has threatened my livelihood now that this is being tossed my way.

      If she is rejecting the fact that the insurance company should have paid off the loan they why doesn't she call the insurance company and have them pay for the loan.  At this point we have not been paid by any insurance company and her insurance denied the claim.

      The creditor contacted me and offered me a loan and provided a payment schedule that would allow me to pay off the loan in installments. I accepted the offer because I knew I could pay off loan sooner than what the payment plan required to avoid additional interest. However once I accepted the loan my payments were not being applied to the principal balances as advised. The loan was for the amount of $500 the loan was taken out on 3rd of November. Ive made 7 payments of ****** and not one cent has been applied to balance. This company is not right they are crooks and they misrepresented the loans terms and now they have me tied into paying them 100x what the loan amount was for.

      We are not Helpful lending, We are credit Lending Services.  The customer does not and has never had any type of loan with our company.  Helpful Lending is not affiliated with Credit Lending Services at all. The customer submitted this complaint to the wrong company. Based off the image provided by the customer they have to reach out to Helpful Lending.

      Credit Lending Services keeps reporting an account to keep it on my my credit report even though it is over seven years old. Ive disputed it 4 times already with no change to my credit report. What they are doing is illegal, unfair and against the law.

      January 17th 2023 My vehicle was repoed and I believe I'm rail roaded mistreated by the a few of the employee's at the company.. ************************* known as ********* has played on my emotions him and his fellow employees by changing the prices of a charge on the vehicle put a damage claim on the vehicle prolong the holding of the vehicle just to time it out so that they can sell the vehicle ************************* ********* has has been rude nasty and playing me from day one I believe they are trying to sell the vehicle which is just about paid off to pocket the money which the vehicle is just about paid off now I owe the credit union so he skeemed me from day with prolonging time so I would be able to pay what they want and push me to sign a contract after the prolonging. I explained that I had troubles out of state so I had to to leave at the time and couldn't produce all the money so as I said ************************* has been using that to bend the rules and push me off of course with getting the cat back with accusations and made lies again trying to time out of getting the car back ***** and ********************* is helping. Point is these guys ************************* ********* in particular has put me through a bad ordeal since January 17th ****** has repeatedly called my phone harassing me leaving messages saying call him on his personal phone he's at home called me after hours while I was home visiting family which I explained to him that I'm dealing with a death and personal situations that's why I flew home and couldn't put up most of the money. When he called after hours telling me something was wrong with the vehicle after having it for almost two wks said he didn't know what was wrong but I could just pay what I had and get the insurance when I get the car back told him I'd call when I get back home from ************ then he called and text again the next 24 hrs after I explained where I was and why. It's such heavier this these few words like I text earlier ****** has been rail reading me since.

      I'm filing the complaint because they've been contacting me every day about my car payment, even though I've been saying that I can't do a payment at the moment because right now I am struggling ************ currently looking for a job, and have been unlucky on finding one, they said they understand yet keep pushing me to make a payment, even telling me to look for a loan to pay off a payment or anything. I've been saying sorry that the payments aren't consistent on monthly and only paying whenever I can. Now today they contacted my main and old phone number (now my sister uses it), also my mothers phone, then included me and my sister in a group chat stating that they're gonna saying I need to get my loan current or they will surrender it. Called them back to discuss my ********** gave me attitude ****** ********* gonna make a payment or ******** then also doesn't notify me for safety reasons for us that the call is being recorded how they usually do it when I pay over the phone at their office, also yet again, telling me to get a loan to make a payment, though I've stated with them multiple times I'm not financially stable to afford to get loans or anything, only able to use whatever I can afford. Then proceeds to text me saying "he said will pay tomorrow this amount." Though I said I'll try and make a payment tomorrow with whatever I have and apologies on missing calls, just been busy looking for a job mainly. Also, have been making payments so they know I'm not trying stop paying it, just struggling with payments.

The complaint I'd like to add on is I received a text from the number I've provided yesterday saying "Hi *********, did uhappen to get the 213.90." At 10 am, even though i stated to him that I'll try and make some type today on Friday, I called asking why am I getting a text about the payment when the day isn't over yet, it just started? Then proceeds to tell me to get my stuff together and continues to insult me over the phone saying it's not hard to get a job or find a way to borrow money. I've told him again that I've been unlucky to find a job or even find the amount to pay the full amount that they are asking, then proceeds to cut me off saying "We have your address, aren't you wanting to claim the title for the vehicle? Just pay it and get it done." Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/11/07) */ It is your contractual obligation to make the payments on time every single month that you have the loan. When you purchased the car and signed the sales contract outlining the terms of the loan you would have read that there is no grace period. If you do not pay you are in default. The law gives us the right to repossess our collateral if the contract is broken. We offer help even though the law does not require us to which we have given you with an deferment. There is nothing else we can do. Its important to understand when you make a large purchase like a vehicle that you know all of your finances and have a safety net in case you get hurt and cant work or loose your job. Its not a finance companies position to give you more time because you were unable to manage your finances better.

      I was in an accident on March *** ***** In which I have been dealing with Progressive insurance for the claim. My payment was set up on Auto Pay in which it was to come out on the 21st of every month. The company would call me every single month just about to tell me my payment was due yet when they looked at payment history they would apologize and state they saw it was set for Auto payment. Then due to the accident I called them to get a payout since the car was deemed a total loss. I Explained that I was waiting on a payout and they indicated they would note my account. I had a lot of problems with my adjuster from Progressive and explained once again to Credit ******* that I was waiting on a payout. They then asked if I was in an auto accident. I explained I was and that I had already explained this information to them. I asked for a manager from the Progressive Insurance to give me a call back on April 1st. That did not happen. So I received a call from Credit ******* ******** insurance department today on 04/05/2022. The ********* listened to my issues and explained that I needed to release the vehicle whether or not I got resolve from the insurance. I explained I was waiting on a manager to call me back from the insurance. The Progressive manager calls me back to indicate that they ordered a repossession on the vehicle therefore forcing me to release the vehicle without having all of the upfront information from Progressive and being able to get a resolve for payout. Basically the two insurances going behind my back. This was a very underhanded dealing in business. My desired outcome would be to have the repossession removed as well as allow proper dealing through the insurance company Progressive in order to get a resolution to the proper payout of the vehicle.

Due to the issue with the customers communication with the insurance company it took longer for the claim to be paid. The claim paid more than the customers pay off and a refund was mailed to the customer for the difference. This was done behind my back so that a settlement could be reached quickly instead of with proper paperwork being provided to me by the insurance company. Therefore no longer allowing the settlement to go through me as the insured person. This was underhandedly done, especially if there response is that no repossession was ordered. Even after many phone calls customer just hangs up with out hearing explanations. WE are trying to explain that we are not reporting a repo on her credit and that the insurance company communicated to us that the claim might not get paid due to her lack of willingness to communicate to them. She refused to comply with the insurance companies demands for documents and interviews. As the legal owners of the vehicle we took over the claim to get it paid. The Owner of the Credit Lending Services called me to indicate that a repo order was never issued on my vehicle and so I asked him why I received the document from my insurance with his agents signature? He then began to argue the matter in which I explained I would not argue-stated for him to have a nice day and hung up the phone. I am attaching emails where I had requested a managers assistance with Progressive Insurance with my claim. I also explained that information to Credit Lending Services representative who contacted me, at which point he threatened me stating he was going to do whatever he needed to do on his end. I have the voicemail from that representative as well.

      Been doing business with company for about 2 years I had a really high interest rate on my car loan. In spite the covid epidemic pay my car note on time. I refinance the car loan notified the company that it was refinanced then the collection agent got really agitated about how long does it take for him to get paid. I had to speak to a supervisor but if I'm everything was fine just have to finance company notify them which I did. Refinance goes through just fine then they hit me with a late payment I try to ruin my credit ... I would never do business with this company again.

The payment was received 45 days after the payment was due. Ilending direct did not even reach out to us for a payoff until 1-28-22. Ilending Direct is to blame for the late payment not CLS. We also called the customer letting them know that the payment is late and will reflect negatively on the credit report. The customer advised us to call Ilending direct for payment.

      My remaining car loan with *** (account number XXXXX) was for ********* of which I paid off early and in full on *********** Since the company only allows a daily maximum payment of $***** via credit/debit, I had to make two payments including being charged two fees for the two transactions. I paid ********* on ******** and ********* on *********** I've realized I overpaid them *** I called *** at XXX-XXX-XXXX on ******** and spoke with *** to advise the account is paid in full, he actually told me there was a balance remaining of $32.03 of which I informed him, I overpaid *** and he confirmed that I did overpay and advised me this was a system error and he has corrected it in their system. *** did not have my address correct of which I updated previously on their portal. I requested *** to make sure my address is correct on several occasions which is **** ***** **** *********** ** XXXXX and he confirmed that is the address on file. I requested a letter to be sent to me so I have proof I have paid the loan in full should any problem arise. *** advised they will send to me letter via email in 30 days. *** has my email because that was the point of contact for my account and that is how I communicated with them. Same day I got a call from *** collection dept asking me to make a payment because I was late. I advised the person calling I do not have a balance it was paid in full. Fast forward to current day *********** it has been 3 months and I still have not received my letter stating proof the loan is paid off. I have not received the *** Title to my car. I called and spoke with ****** today he confirmed my request back in 11/2021 was not fulfilled and could not answer as to why, but it will be processed. I requested to speak to a supervisor, ****** said Supervisor ******** was not available and asked me to call back later, I informed ****** it would be appropriate for Supervisor to call me when he is available - ****** said the Supervisor **** will give me a *****

      I am a disabled army veteran I purchased a bmw 650i in December of 2020 I made a down payment of $***** dollars down and when I received my registration in the mail I seen that the vehicle was registered to someone else so when I went to the dealership they told me not there problem I went to the *** and they said they would look into it meanwhile I was waiting on the *** I ended up getting into a accident and my vehicle was immobilized so it got towed to the tow yard and when I went to pick up my vehicle I was told that since it was not the registered owner I couldn't get it nor was I aloud to get my belongings I was contacted by *** and told them why should I pay for a car that's not even in my name and that I can't even get access to then I stated that when I received my settlement I would pay them then. So what they do is go behind my back contact the insurance company, reposesed my car and auction it off then all of a sudden I get plates in the mail and the proper registration I owed $****** on the vehicle and they received $****** so they added a bunch of bogus charges to offset the difference meanwhile never giving me credit for what they auctioned my vehicle off for (fraud). So not only due to an accident that I did not cause or was not at fault I lose the $***** dollars I put down on the vehicle I don't get credit for what they sold it for and they get to keep the extra funds they were payed on the vehicle This is how credit lending services treat there veterans who fought for this country and sacrificed so much this has been a extremely traumatic event in my life I've was unable to go see my father before he passed **** I have to live with that I am now homeless and severely depressed would like to be refunded my deposit all my payment and the price they auctioned my car for as well as the additional two thousand dollars they were overpaid.

We had issued a check back on 08-06-2021. The customer never called to get an update on his refund and we had not known anything was wrong until the BBB complaint. We reached out to him on the 13th after checking on the status of the check that was mail. We found that the check had not yet been cleared ( been deposited). We verified with USPS that the letter was sent and was delivered. We reached out to **. ********* and told him that we were able to verify that the check was delivered but never cashed. **. ********* was not aware of this. We promptly issued another check, this check was received by **. ******** and cashed on 1-25-22. Because they stated they did not auction off my car yet I have documentation stating that they did.
