I signed up for pro people search for a $ and they billed me twice. First they billed me the dollar, then they took it upon themselves to bill me an additional $16.98. I didn't order anything for $16.98 from these people. I just want my money back, and the sit looked into. Thanks.

I signed up for their $1 deal but was charged $28 instead. I tried to cancel the subscription but the page is always down. I've tried calling the phone number but have never got an answer. I've left multiple messages and sent emails expressing that I want it canceled because I only signed up for the $1. It's now been another week and they charged me another $27. Tried both ways to cancel again but no one answers phone and web page doesn't work. Attached is a screen shot of what their page does when you try to cancel and what there contact page looks like.

This service is a scam of a company. They state you can cancel by sending your information on the cancel on the provided page or you can call customer service. What they don't say is they will not cancel unless you call in. So by sending in your info they will charge you and say they sent an email to call in. But you will not receive an email. They charged me $68 on the third day after joining and had filled out & sent the form to cancel the same day as I joined.

For the past year Pro People Search has been taking $68.42 from my checking account. *** requested several times via email that they cancel and stop taking money. Ive changed my bank card. Been told they not account for my name, email address on file. Yet they keep taking my hard earned money. I even moved all my money except 30 to my savings and that month they took $28.14.

I used pro people search today signing up for the $1 trial membership and couldnt find the info i was looking for. All info i encountered was inaccurate! Then saw that my card was charged $20 so i tried calling to cancel and was on hold for an hour and still didnt reach anyone. I tried canceling online but everytime i would submit the request it would say server error try again later. I dont want to be charged again because no one answers the phone on purpose it seems. I already feel pro people search is a scam after $1 turned into $20 and i want a refund

I purchased this service when I needed to run a check on someone, the service provided was sub par, did not explain anything, and only gave the most basic of information that you probably already knew about the person... that being said. My issue with this company is that I canceled the service within minutes of receiving my information and now 6 months later... I am still being charged, I have since requested this service be canceled multiple times, and have reported it to my bank as fraud. and I am still being charged... do not do business with this company
