    These guys are a joke been selling on there sight for a few years and wont be returning! They were changing my prices and I couldnt even deactivate them or change the prices on them called them talked to someone wanted a screenshot of what was going on did everything they asked still wasnt helpful! The one that finally emailed me back said if I closed my store and opened another one I would be fine well I did that and wanted my id and everything all over again then I didnt even have anything listed was under review then the next day said they where closing my store due to a buyer and myself with some kinda conflict which didnt make sense cause my new store wasnt opened then they tell me I cant ever sell on there site again and if I do they will close my store and keep all my money ! Sellers beware and dont use them !! Not sure what happened to them use to be good years ago but now now ! Hope they get shut down will never sell or buy from this site again ! They dont deserve any stars as far as Im concerned!

    Do not sell anything valuable on this site. Any buyer can damage or swap out your item and still get a full refund return. You won't get anything back.

    Mercari is canceling orders and modifying prices. The initial customer service representative acknowledged this practice but declined to offer a $10 credit for the inconvenience. I requested to speak with a supervisor, and **** took over the call, displaying a rude demeanor while attributing the price changes to sellers. However, the first representative and the seller confirmed Mercari's involvement in the price adjustments. I would like to provide further context regarding this situation. Following my discussion with the seller, she revealed that Mercari had altered the price, citing a recently implemented policy. I originally purchased the belt for $7.99 plus shipping, but the order was canceled and relisted at a higher price, plus shipping. I then offered $13.50 plus shipping, which was accepted. The seller apologized for the inconvenience, explaining that Mercari's price adjustment had put her in a difficult situation as a seller.

    Mercari is actually a great site. *** sold off it for over 6 years. The only obvious issue is have as a seller is terrible customers, a few scammers that ********************** does catch eventually and blocks. But all in all as a seller not one issue even being paid. When you buy off it you have 3 days to rate. 3 days to request a return. If you purchase and know this anything past those 3 days is the buyers fault by not following the guidelines and following through with their complaint. 3 days is enough time to approve your item. If you purchase when out of town. Your own fault.

    ******** company!!! They knew someone scammed me and still sided with them. They have horrible business practices. I do not recommend them and Im looking for a way to report them for supporting scammers on their website.I will be looking for ways to get ahold of corporate if possible. This support of scammers needs to be addressed. NOW.

    They literally allowed a seller to completely scam me. Im baffled. Get better customer service agents. And maybe do better on people scamming others. I will be taking up the charge with my bank. Do better.

    Absolutely horrific experience. I purchased a shirt and never received it ********************************************************************* the mail. The **** tracking number was useless. Again, I was told to be patient or do the legwork and attempt to locate my shirt. Save yourself the frustration and STAY AWAY FROM MERCARI.

    i placed an order for shoes. they came in and arrived with p*** and heavy signs of wear. I requeasted a refund however mercari is giving me a run around saying im only wanting to rturn due to size.

    My first and only purchase from Mercari (9/29/25) was a nightmare. I purchased a FHI heat platform stylus pro heated hair brush from seller punkrock333. The seller described it as good condition and used. Punkrock333 then used a stock photo of a new item and a very blurry photo of their actual item for sale. When it arrived, I was out of town for two weeks and unable to leave a review within the three day timeline by Mercari. When I got home and opened the package, the hair tool had definitely been used for a very long time and was completely disgusting, full of gross hair product and very sticky. Completely unusable. Seller also scammed the post office by using the free flat rate padded envelopes to wrap the item in inside the outer envelope. Because the packaging was soft and not a box, several rows of the nylon teeth were bent over because of the poor packaging, and were unable to be bent back because they would then snap off. I exchanged several emails with Mercari support, with them basically blowing me off and saying it was too late to do anything. I called Mercari several times and got the message that they were having a high call volume, music would play for about 30 seconds and then disconnect. Its infuriating that I cant leave a true review of the product and the seller punkrock333 on Mercari. Their customer service is the worst Ive ever had.
