I ordered a cushion and was emailed right away with a tracking number that said it would be shipped within 3 days. Three days later tracking says that the item hasnt been received to ship but a label was created. Now the supposed seller is giving me another tracking number which doesnt work. I am starting to think this is a scam and I will get no help with it judging from the reviews!

Mercari is a place for scams, broken items and no way to contact customer support beyond the app, ********************** only provides automated responses. Try calling the number listed on BBB, if youre in the US, there is no way to talk to anyone.

Company acts only in their own interest, with no regard for buyers or sellers on the platform.

Horrible!!! I sold a vintage bag and the buyer waited the 3 days and didnt rate me, right when time was up and I was able to be paid, they submitted a return. Mercari granted the return and I kept contacting them stating the bag was NOT in that condition when I sent it. I did not accept the return and I submitted labeled pictures with circles showing before and after I got the bag back. It is Clear! And the buyer never returned the authentication letter showing the bag was authentic, It just wasn't returned. I have almost ***** 5 star reviews and the buyer had literally zero. They closed the ticket and let the buyer get away with completely ruining the bag, keeping my authentication certificate, and NOT paying!!! I am so upset no one has helped me and I cant resell it because of the condition! I have reached out at least 8 times about this issue and no one cares or listens to me. They let this person get away with not paying what is rightfully mine! I even had labeled circled before and after photos but nope. They dont even give answers to my questions, the responses make no sense or are vague like all answers are computer generated. P*rkmark is 100% better when dealing with issues and they actually care about their sellers. I even put on the listing price to sell. Sale is final, but again, Mercari is the worst and does not care about sellers. ID # *****************

This company is illegally charging fees and excess shipping and lying and scamming

New policies are awful, took all my items down from selling. This is a great platform for scammers, they can use and return preowned items with ease. Mercari will always side with the buyer. Good luck!

I used to love this platform. But since theyve shifted fees onto the buyer now instead of the seller as it should be, Ill be taking my money elsewhere. Purchase $17.Shipping $4.99 Service Fee $1.36 Payment Processing Fee $1.21 Tax $1.23 Total $25.79 Nope! Good luck with that! If I wanted to pay new item prices, I wouldnt be shopping on a USED item platform!

Scamming sellers and over charging for ***** packages, practically stealing.

Bunch of thieves (I'm the seller). Charged me exactly what I sold my product for in "incorrect label correction". Claimed my packaged weighed 90lbs when I have the receipt from ***** showing it only weights 40lbs. Took every last cent I had I lost my money and my model kits that I'll never get back.
