      On November 19 I went into the gym to pay my bill and to also inform them that I'm moving out of the state so I need to cancel my membership however the gentleman that I spoke to at the desk was incredibly rude and told me that I could not cancel without a utility bill of the new location that I'm moving to or without a new ID of the state that I'm going to which is not listed in the contract and when I told him that he said yes it is lying to my face in so I replied I don't have either of those things however I can show you proof of my relocation job letter and he said that basically the documents are invalid because they can be forge without ever seeing the documents or even trying to be remotely helpful and because he was being so incredibly rude I told him that I would not be paying the bill and then he threatened to send my bills to collections so it'll ruin my credit which is completely unacceptable from someone who is stating that they are the "" manager I've never been so blatantly disrespected and disregarded at any establishment and I want them to cancel my membership because I refuse to step foot in such a place.

      During the height of the pandemic when I worked for a government agency and knew the mask rules they were completely mask- less. Including the staff. I have an immune deficiency and asked several times to cancel my membership because I could not risk going into the business. I called several times, emailed, and went in in person and they ignored my requests to cancel

      Equipment always broken and NOT repaired in a timely and efficient manner. It's dirty and not thoroughly cleaned. Never efficient equipment for use and we are paying for adequate services but receiving inadequate service. Plus some front of house employees, mainly on front desk are indifferent rude and unprofessional. Just want to be able to use actual services, equipment we have signed membership to actual utilize.....but seldom the case. As well drainage system smells continually with foul odours.

      Myself and my husband were members of the LifeTime Fitness center at Cary, North Carolina. The below are our membership ID's and the center address and contact: XXXXXXXXX / XXXXXXXXX Life Time **** ******* ***** ***** ** XXXXX (XXX) XXX-XXXX I had put in a written request via email to my account manager at LifeTime Cary on March 14 2020 to put our accounts on hold until further notice due to Covid. This request was never honored and I was being consistently charged the monthly dues up until March 1st 2022. I tried reaching out to them for understanding why this happened and nobody was able to explain these charges. They simply said that they will not charge the dues starting April 2022 but cannot reimburse my money which had been deducted from my account for the last 19 months without using any of their services. I reached out to their corporate email contact on March 1, 2022, requesting for reimbursement and they too have not responded to me. This is very unethical as I worry there might by other people who might have discontinued the membership but are still being charged without being made aware of it. The fitness center never even cared to understand why a customer is being charged when the customer has not shown up consistently for more than a month. Then why are they tracking the entry and exit to their facility if it is of no good to the customer? I believe this is very unethical and should be taken seriously to protect other customers. I have attached all the proofs I have with me and humbly request to reimburse the money *********** deducted from my account without my notice.

      I have been having a couple of issues with my membership at USA Fitness/ Speakeasy Fitness of Van Nuys. I have been continuously charged for the past couple of months for way more than expected i have gotten yearly fees taken out for the last two months and ***** worth of "monthly payments" since December. I've gone in NUMEROUS times to cancel my membership and their employees are no help. Instead of canceling my membership as Requested they ask oh why? WHY? Because this gym is a scam, more than one person has had issues like this not being resolved. Please cancel my membership. I've given this place so many chances from paying *** for one single account for a year a straight when everyone else was only charged ****** Some were even charged **** On January 3,2022/ January 24,2022/ February 2,2022/ February 11,2022 they've taken out payments under my account. they've promised to refund me and never did it. A manager promised me 6 months free starting November since i've referred over so many people to the gym and i've been getting OVERCHARGED since November. I want my membership canceled and to be refunded for anything they shouldn't have taken out to be refunded. I've put a stop payment on my banks end this month. since Speakeasy SUPPOSEDLY froze my account in person so why would i be charged ? They take payments out in different names

      * On April *******, I sent an email to ***************************** providing notice for my membership termination. I did not receive any response. This was the email the front desk employees provide to me at the former DTLA location that is now closed ******** ******* ********************** ******* * On July 25 2021 - July 26 2021,, reached out to their social media account on ********* *************** in hopes of speaking with someone. I was again, directed to the email above. * On July 26 2021, I followed up with the support team via email as I noticed multiple debits to my checking account. I also included that I would like a refund for the account charges. I was however able to "effectively" cancel my membership. * On 9/1/21 followed up via email, and include "*************************************** I received this email after calling the gym. The operations manager ************** also asked for me to forward all my email communication over to her, which included my initial attempt to cancel my membership. * On 9/1/21, ***** responded to me via email and mentioned that it would take 2 weeks for a refund to show on my account. A refund did not make its way to my account. * On 9/3/21, the customer service team (see email above), responded to confirm that they were going to issue a refund of $165 to my account and that the refund would take 5-7 business days. As of 1/16/22, this refund has not hit my bank account. * On 9/29/21, I followed up as I did not see the refund post in my account. * On 10/4/21, I was told they were having system issues. The same day, I provided alternative options to provide a refund (via check or giftcard). * On 10/11/21, they declined my alternative options, which no other context. *11/21/21, followed up. *12/14/21, Informed the previous employee who assisted with the refund is no longer active. They stated the matter was sent to their merchant company to issue refund *1/3/22 & 1/10/22 - Followed up, with no response.

      On October 5,2021 I went into the gym to cancel my membership. The person who I spoke to stated I wasn't going to be charged for October because I cancel 2 weeks before my due date. I have been charged for 3 months. I have gone every single month to ask them why I keep getting charged and the same story is told. On 12/22/2021 female stated it was going to take 7-10 business days to get a refund and nothing has been received. I also asked for a copy of the cancelation and it was denied. Below are the dates they removed money from my checking account and I need for them to reimburse me. The name of the gym used to be called USA FITNESS. They changed their name to ABC*SPEAKEASY FITNESS last year 2021. Please help The gym I went too was/is located on XXXXX **** ** ****** ** XXXXX ******* **** ******* ******** **** ****** ******** **** *******

      I signed up for a month to month gym membership. At the time of signing up, I was advised that there's no contract/notification period or penalty for canceling. That it could be done anytime with a phone call as late as the day prior to your renewal. I called in June 2021 to cancel membership & advise staff I tested positive for COVID & had just been at the gym the day prior to my test. They said thank you for notifying, we'll cancel & come back once better. September 2021 I notice I am still being billed for gym membership. I reach out to gym again to resolve & they say the only way a membership can be cancelled is by coming in person, I replied I cannot bcse am positive for covid & he said sorry but can't cancel until you come in person. They provided me with an email address to support that send you back an auto-reply advising you that mailbox isn't monitored. They refused to allow me speak to a manager or have one call me back, they refused to resolve the issue & hung up on me.
