I had a problem with my HP Printer. After trying to fix the problem myself, a pop up screen showed up indicating they, My TECH.tex, I TECH TECHNOLOGY, I-TECH Group TYP LTD, which gave me the impression they were selected by HP to help users with printing problems. Once I called, 102.2020, I spoke with****** *******************) or (**************) ext. 1009. I was assigned Customer ID # ******** and was charged $535 to my Master Card. ****** indicated the $535 included tax and it was for a LIFETIME PROTECTION....no more charges for "unlimited devices and MicroSoft Office free for lifetime). On July 29, 2021 I had another problem with the HP printer and called and was told that I was using an old version of Windows and I needed to go from W8 to W10 which they charged me $150.00 Today, 9/20/2021 I received an email (which I am glad to include or scan to anyone who can help) where I was told my card or bank would be debited $599.00. I called back and****** answered. No mgr can help.

I received an email from the company saying my subscription will automatically renew in the amount of 499.98. I do not know who this company is or what its about. I do not want this to renew. I called the number that was given and he said I would have to be at my computer to generate a code to cancel. This does not sound right. Please stop any communication with me and delete me in your data base. I do not know who this is.

I received an e-mail stating that I had recurring billing subscription in the amount of $499. I only recall about two years ago being placed in contact with them by HP Support. Because of the price and the damage that was done to my hard drive I refused the service. I was routed to three different departments in an effort to cancel the subscription. The last one was supposed to be their billing department ************** They said the account was closed & I had a refund coming. They went into the hard drive to make the refund of $200.00. Instead the refund deposit was for $*****. The person I spoke to sounded as if he was from India. The initial deposit showed up in my checking account, but has since disappeared. In the meantime, stupid me, I forwarded to them $***** in gift cards. The area code on the e-mail 845 is New York state. Area code 510 is the San Francisco area. I am going to contact my bank, but do not expect any results and have given thought of contacting the F.B.I.

Received an email from US Tech regarding a renewal. I have not signed up with this company for any services. I spoke with a man (heavy accent) to tell him to cancel any subscription and not charge any credit card or checking account. When I asked for him to verify my information, he gave me an incorrect name for the account I supposedly signed up for. I told him the name was incorrect. Then he hung up on me. . .. . This seems like a scam company and an scam email. I will be watching my credit cards to ensure I am not charged by US Tech for $499 effective Sept. 17, 2021.

A company by the name of US Tech Support has sent me a phishing email about a computer technical support contract that I never signed up for. They have sent me a notice that they are going to collect **** for their services. The email came from *****************@gmail.com. The address noted in the email is: US Tech Support XXX XXX XXXX ************** ***** ***** ******, ** XXXXX, ****** ****** After calling their phone number in the email, I was instructed to install an executable file (exe) that I had to run to cancel the service. I never run executable files in any email, which gave me a clue that this is a scam. I also found online, through research, that this is a scam email. I want these people prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
