    Im owed money back from an extended warranty through Portfolio One. My car was totaled and Im not getting a response on the claim or my money back as stated in the warranty contract.

    I purchased a used car from them on Feb *******. Around the beginning of April, I received a refund check from them for my DMV license fees. The check was a little under $300 and it was returned by my bank because they stopped payment on the check. I've called the dealership, the finance manager, and the salesperson that sold me the car and got no response. Now I see the dealership is closed down and I purchased a $3500 bumper to bumper warranty for 3 years or 4500 miles from them that I won't be able to use. TERRIBLE BUSINESS!

    I received a refund 1,183$. When I deposited it? It was rejected by the issuing bank. They put a hold on it.

    SHADY SCUM OF THE ****** On March 19th this year I financed a Infiniti Q50 3.7 at SC Motors in Placenta CA. I'm a mechanic and I usually inspect every car buy but in this case, it started pouring rain. It was Sunday I needed a car so I got it. While trying to convince myself not every used dealer is shady. A couple months go by I've saved enough money to start performing maintenance on my new car because I know it's never done. Which was the 1st lie, anyway I can clearly see that this car has overheated in the past just by opening the hood. Whatever OK, I changed the oil and it was as black as night another lie. I changed the Air filters they were dirty not new like the salesman said. Let's just say that I have 3 to 4 pages of things that I have fixed or not right with it, pictures and documentation. Last month I see the bumper is coming off when I begin to install an aftermarket grill. The fender wheel ***** are ripped out and I see machine screws holding things together. I get the grill off and I look inside and see the front crash bar is mangled on the right side. So now I'm super ****** I was able to look past a lot but now I know this was in a bad accident and probably should have been Salvaged. I say this because the driver door doesn't close all the way the top sticks out a bit. I'm noticing crappy white paint come off in the corners of the doors, bumpers and headlights. The key they gave me doesn't even fit the door and that leads me to believe they replaced it. Now that I know this im doing a thorough inspection. I had to add about 6 fuses that were missing. The Spark plugs look original and were barley in the block maybe about a half turn. The drivers side fuse box has two rows of fuses that do not have power going to them. So it's now July that I have found these serious issues. Now I have a very busy work schedule I plan on calling them or taking the car back. Then guess what happens!? My transmission takes a dump, it's about 7k to fix at the dealership. I call the dealer I tell him everything that I have found and that they sold me a car that was in a head on collision. I also tell them that it's not working anymore. They are snarky and start to get defensive, they just keep saying that I should have gotten a warranty. You know what I wanted to buy a warranty but they wouldn't sell me one. My mother Co-signed and she's my witness. There response to the accident was; (Dealer)"we go off of Carfax if it's not on there then we don't know" I know that's ******** asked them if they inspect their cars before they sell them? He said Yes and then I mentioned the 3 pages of Basic maintenance failed components that anybody would have caught if it was inspected. He basically stopped talking and said he can only refer me to a Mechanic!! They won't take any responsibility at all. So now I have a $319.00 car payment for a car that doesn't work and probably has frame damage and still owe the bank a little over 16k. I've already spent hundreds on rental cars and Ubers so I don't loose my job as well. I can't even pay rent this month because of all the excess spending I've done. They don't care about putting people in unsafe cars. Or s******* you over, not to mention it's probably going to put a repo on my mother's perfect credit and my Ok credit. So they sold me a car that clearly was in a massive accident, they buy all their cars from the auction then wash them and sell them. This place is a joke and you guys should be in prison. Do not buy a car from here they are unprofessional and do not care about people or there safety.

    Date of Vehicle Purchase Feb 2nd 2023.Was promised that the hood ajar sensor would be fixed, and that the drivers side mirror would be fixed.After purchase I discovered that the Key wouldn't lock and was broken.That the warranty did not include the hybrid surcharge that I requested on the date of purchase.The headlights weren't working or connected, and that there was no wiring to even connect them. I believe because of the hood ajar sensor and headlights not working, they just threw headlights in, because of a possible accident had damaged the front end.The front indicators weren't working or connected either.I was promised all this would be fixed in a timely manner.I was told that I could add the hybrid surcharge to the warranty myself, after calling the warranty place, I have found this is incorrect.I have lost income from this. I do not believe they were fixing the car until I sent a text explaining my anger and how upset I was. This then got me a response.I have been accused in text of rewiring the headlights to not work... And that I had some "plan" to rewire the headlights, have them endanger my life and other peoples lives, and have to drive 68 miles, back and forth to drop off the car to be repaired, and to lose 13 days of income... for some purpose?1. Warranty corrected and add the hybrid component.2. **** ajar sensor keeps going off when hood is opened.3. Three keys, broken one, the secondhand one (I purchased), the new one promised replace the broken one.4. Passenger side headlight condensation & can cause damage to electrical.5. High beams not correctly setup.6. Drivers side mirror does not move/flash left indicator light.7. Front indicators are not working or even connected.8. ******************** not working, not even connected or wired to connect. I believe they were rewired to cover up the fact that the headlights werent working.I given a deal on extras, make the purchase price the $8000 I agreed to. Check lost *****************

    I have retrieved my vehicle from the dealership, the headlights, 1 key has been fixed. I have the part for the side mirror in the car, and the head sales manager ****** will install when he has time. I also paid ****** $108 in cash to add the HYBRID surcharge that was missing from my warranty. I have verbal agreement that once ****** hears back from the ***************, in a timely manner, he will email me the forms to sign. 

    Once I have received the email, signed the documents, activated the warranty (that ****** said would not be cancelled, the threat from another employee) and the side mirror installed. I will remove my complaint from the BBB.

    On May 10th 2021 I went to this dealership (SC MOTORS) to look at a car. I had seen on the website that the car had been in an accident I then proceeded to ask ****** the car salesmen at the time what accident it was in he said just a little rear end accident nothing too major then told me to look in the back to show me they had fixed it . In the end of 2022 I wanted to trade in my **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** the wreck so therefor I could not trade in my car because of that the payout was ******. I still owed ****** on my car for the loan. The auto check report does not state the salvaged title at all SC motors promised me a *** card for my stereo because it was broken and said the *** card would fix it but that was not the case, and they failed to even give me that after complaining to them multiple times even texting and calling asking for the promised *** card". I had to replace the radio myself because it was entirely broken. My car has now been non drivable for over 3 months now because they FAILED.I still am making payments on a car they sold me that has a salvaged title my engine turns off when Im driving and I seriously dont know why these people are still in business if only people actually cared enough to shut them down I could have been in a major accident due to my engine just shutting off out of nowhere randomly while driving. Thats not even the worst part they took my money and pocketed it for themselves I put a $2,500 down payment when buying the car and on my paperwork it states my down payment was $0.00 . For everyones safety this place needs to go out of business I did not report anything earlier because i did not know about the BBB and only found out about it recently. I work hard for my money and to know that it was just pocketed to these scammers. Something needs to be done about this.

    Vehicle is clean title vehicle, in which we guaranteed in writing it is. ************** does not finance salvage title vehicles. Customer purchased an extended warranty that would cover mechanical malfunction. Customer paid a two thousand dollar downpayment in which customer was given a receipt. If customer would like to trade in vehicle, they are more than welcome to bring it in for an appraisal. Thank you!

    I bought a car in Feb of 2022 with a guarantee shipment of a promised part (it's in the contract I signed.) I've been waiting and calling every month to find out when the part is actually arriving. I get the same responses, "The part was ordered, or the Part Manager is busy, or send me a picture of the part promised and we'll let the Part's Manager know, let me transfer you to a no name voicemail to leave a message, we are unorganized here." I've sent in numerous photos to **** and ******, I have screen shots of the chats logs. It is now Oct and I'm still waiting.... It's been nine months, with no promised part, no response text, email, or call updating me of where it is. Every time I call, I'm on hold for extended periods of time and the employees are very rude and act like they know nothing about it, It has to be recorded on my account notes lol. I texted ****** yet for another update and of course no reply. I would just go in but I live 5 hours away.
