We are on the verge of dumping El Dorado Disposal and driving our trash 45 minutes to the dump ourselves. 1. We have an abundance of recycling but they wont pick it up weekly or give a second bin. 2. If they dont like something you do (I.e. forget to space your cans 3 feet apart or accidentally put something in the bin that they dont accept ( not repeatedly, or in abundance) they dont take your trash for the week leaving you with overflowing trash on your property. BUT they will still charge you! 3. The final straw just occurred where they called us and maybe the whole neighborhood ( many folks on a neighborhood ******** chat discussed this) and warned us that our trash cans can not be left at the curb for more than 12 hours before or after pickup or else they will take our cans away and fine us! We live in a rural area where everyone has to transport their cans a block or more to the collection area. Being able bodied enough and having the correct equipment is a tall order and thats not accounting for peoples busy schedules. They claim someone complained about our cans even though we hadnt left any out that month. It seems like my whole neighborhood got the call saying there was a complaint. This service has no competition so keeps taking liberties that a regular company would never do or they would lose their customers. Someone needs to put them in check!
