its over a gallon of bad mil, they wont respond, it made us sick, wasted food! and still was good for 2 weeks, It was new, unopened milk.Business Response

For at least a year now, the Lucerne milk sold at the local ******* store has had unrealistic and potentially dangerous expiration dates on their labels. Every time I buy some bilk, for instance, at the beginning of a month, the expiration date will for some crazy reason say 1 month to almost 2 months after the fact. We all can tell that milk is not going to last that long, even on refrigerated shelves. We all know enough about milk that even if its not "organic", milk should not have a bogus expiration date that is over a month down the line or more from the date of purchase. Because thats already a month longer than when it was potentially harvested in the first place! I am concerned about the health hazards of this business practice, and have smelled bad milk and seen chunky milk in the cartons well before the product reached its supposed expiration dates this year alone. This is some kinda cheap tactic to pass off already old milk that probably took longer than usual to go from the dairy to the transporation and distribution hub before eventually ending up at local ******* stores. That could already be days or weeks before purchase. So are we customers supposed to believe that normal milk can really sitl lbe good or healthy to havewhen its already through most of its shelf life? Nobody is that dumb and I am fed up with whatever is going on here. I contacted the ******* complaint department and made them aware of my issue and that I would contact The BBB regarding this issue. I bought my latest carton of milk on December 3rd and it said "Jan 24, **** Expiration Date"...Doesnt that imply it was first gathered at least in late Novemeber? And its supposed to be good for 2 solid more months after the fact? Never has that been the case with normal milk that was not canned. Please inquire with ******* about this, because its too risky to get sick from flu or covid in thw winter, without food poisoning also being thrown into the mix. Thanks and be well.Initial Complaint

Purchased family size 0 Organics 72 oz $30 box of coffee for christening of my granddaughter. Coffee was stale and bad tasting. I am new to this country from ******* and I have begun shopping at Acme. I am now rethinking my choice of grocery store. Acme would not return due to covid directed me to customer service number on box. Phone customer service spoke to *******. ******* was extremely long-winded and rude and put me on hold for over 24 minutes as you can see by photo. She was very condescending and refused to assist me and put me on with a supervisor by the name of ******* who never picked up the phone again I waited while I was getting the church Hall ready for the christening and decided to finally hang up the phone after a half an hour. I called back another day and was transferred to a very ugly illiterate sociopathic person by the name of ******. Whose attitude towards me was bias and irrational. The way he treated me I will probably never go back to this Acme store or any Acme store for that matter. I cannot believe that this store has a customer service that conducts themselves in an abusive towards patrons matter. When I told ******* that I would be contacting corporate about her behavior she laughed and said go ahead I don't care that's fine. Again these are not store associates or a store that I am looking forward to patronizing with my money. I want my $30 return to me in the form of a gift card like the grocery store promised me by calling the phone number. I am not yet registered and I seem to be penalized for that also which is why the grocery store manager said just call the customer service number and they would be happy to send you a gift card. This person by the name of ******* was very sarcastic and actually stated.. nobody buys that much coffee this is ridiculous.? Again abusive Behavior. My problem is very simple indeed. I was always buying Lucerne cheese for years and was informing everyone I know how their cheese was the BEST! Well, now it does not even taste like real cheese and now it cost $8 for the 32 ounce chunk cheese. I know this happened just recently because it was only about 2 months ago that my sister and I was only eating sliced Lucerne cheese for a snack and really tasting it because my sister did not believe me that is was the BEST cheese on the market. Well,now I cannot say that anymore, because the last 2 I have bought doesn't even taste like real cheese. I needed to inform BBB and eventually every consumer needs to be aware of this change. I bought the last 2 thinking that maybe I just got a bad one but then the 2nd one was bad too. I have never been so dissappointed in all my life!!Initial Complaint

Your NON FAT COTTAGE CHEESE has expired dates on the plastic top. TWICE I have gone to buy your NON FAT Cottage Cheese in TWO different stores, ***************************************************************************. and they both had expired dates on them. It looks as if these plastic tops can be interchanged. The dates should be printed on the container, where LUCERNE is printed, and not on the clear plastic top.I will also file a complaint on Target and ***********. I am 79 years old and cannot go back and forth to the stores, and I cannot take a chance eating cottage cheese that *** be rancid. I would like a gift card for all the times I had to go back and forth to the stores to look for non fat cottage cheese that DOES NOT have an expired date.Initial Complaint

I see green mold growing on this white ******* cheese package I bought last week, May 2022. . Last summer I had same issue. That time I retuned moldy unopened and 3 months prior to package expiration date, and Vons store exchanged it for a mold free package. Well there must be a problem at the packaging plant where the cheese is packed, someone didnt wash hands or bacteria is growing on packing machines!!! They is no anwser when I email or called Lucerne ************** in **********, **********. Can you find out why bacteria is present on freshly packaged sealed up cheese?
