  Hi my name is ***** as a former employee of this company i would never trust this company nor do business with Water Heater Pros after 8+ months of taking on many extra tasks and being left to manage all phones and emails with no chance of breaks I asked the owner ****** ********* for a raise due to rising cost of living pg&e hikes, the struggles my family is having to get by in thus economy. he says yes Ill talk to ***** and see what we can do. A couple days goes by I re checked in with him yes Ill talk To him Monday. Ok Wednesday is now here gave him extra days reached out to him to check on that raise , no response no answer. Well Friday 9/27/24 payroll comes through on the email as usual showing all employees with direct deposit which i always had. I noticed my name wasnt on the list. I brought this to the HR lady Denises attention. Im sorry you have to see it this way there letting you go and giving you your last check today the ****** ***** is leaves like everythings normal . This is a company that says family owned and operated, this is what they do to a family and employee that worked everyday never missed a day. To add to what the comment before me says I can say when working there I was told to forge autographs , dates and signatures for Smud and tech clean forms. In which I did not do nor agree to do So ***** would do it. I would thoroughly investigate every Smud form and tech clean form they ever have done and Ill promise you, they forged many. Another one the other comment mentioned, they also order cheap Chinese sourced parts offer you only a 1 year workmanship warranty then tell you after that years up sorry we dont make the parts that caused your water heater to leak in your house or garage. I seen so much working there that I just want everyone to know the honest truth about this company And not be ripped off.The community should not what kind of scum bags these are!! Dont do business with cowards!!

  This review should be removed as it violates the BBB guidelines. This review was left by someone affiliated with the company (disgruntled employee) not a consumer we interacted with. We had to let this employee go do to performance issues. We notified the ex-employee to remove the review. We told the ex-employee if this review is not removed we will file lawsuit for slander and deformation of character. Most of this information is false and does not reflect our business practices.

  Four years ago, I had a tankless water heater installed. The connecting parts completely corroded within this time. I sent multiple emails with photos, which got no response, and finally after calling, a service person came out - for $195. The service person told me they must have installed the wrong parts the first time. I called the office back afterward to try to get more answers on this, as it was not normal for the parts to corrode to this extent within a few years and if what the service person told me was true, I didn't think it was right to be charged the service fee. I was told I was wrong, they installed the right parts. I said that's not what I was told, and could they just please check with their service person. They never followed up. I was extremely disappointed in the rude and dismissive response. Not only that but during the service call they tried to upsell me on a water heater cleanout, charging over twice the market rate.

  In 2021, they recommend we purchase a new hot water heater to fix our issue of the water not getting very hot. After getting the new water heater, this did not fix the issue and Water Heater Pros just gave a lot of excuses skirting the issue. Eventually I called a different plumber and they flat out said if you got a new hot water heater, you should have had HOT water. So, I called Water Heater Pros back and they got very defensive about how they arent plumbers, they just install water heaters. Now I have a new water heater and still just warm water. BUYER BEWARE.
