I learned that a company calling itself Oak and Hearth had been billing my credit card for 2 years. I attempted to cancel the "subscription" -- both by visiting their website and by contacting customer service directly. I attach those emails here. I even went to my credit union to ask them to block the debits that were still happening monthly. The company does not respond to calls, website email or regular email.I am frustrated beyond belief and want this to stop NOW.Thank you.***************************

Purchased a travel bag on 7/23/2022 and then was charged $18.33 a month for a membership agreement which I did not sign up for or agree to pay for. I would like my membership cancelled and charges stopped to my credit card. I would appreciate a refund of $128.31 but doubt it will be received. The phone numbers listed on the internet ring and answer but they advise no personnel is available for direct communications. Thank you.

In August 2022 and December 18, 2022 I made online purchases from Oak and Hearth (the first purchase was a travel bag and the second was a coat for my parents dog). Unknown to me they enrolled me in some subscription each time with no notice, no email, not even a mention of it in the order confirmation email. In reading other complaints to BBB, I am not the only one that fell victim to their unethical practices. And while their $18.33 was to be charged per month (as in their own terms and conditions), I was charged twice in May, September, October, December and January and in November I was charge that amount THREE times! Unfortunately this didn't come to light until 2 days ago when I took over our household finances and noticed these charges. I have emailed and called the company numerous times to no avail. When you try calling it simply says "our live phone support is not active" and refers you to emailing them. In emailing you get an automated response and nothing else. The links they provide in the auto generated email do not even work. The one to "supposedly" cancel a subscription give you a 404 error (attached). I have called my credit card company to dispute it, but they can only go back so far, which still leaves me out hundreds of dollars due to some extremely shady business practices. My goal is to get a full refund from the company and hopefully keep this from happening to anyone else!

In August 2022, I purchased a few travel bags from Oak & Hearth. I only recently noticed that I have been charged $25/month since that time. I contacted the company and received an automated reply which purported to attach proof of enrollment (there was no attachment). The phone number is out of order. I can see that there are many complaints with the BBB against this company for the same reason. It is also reported on many other websites as well as social media. Again, I was unaware until recently. I have also read many reviews that even after cancelling the subscription, they continue to charge peoples credit cards until the card has been cancelled.

On March 12 I ordered an item from this company that came broken. I called and was told that they would send me another one which they finally did a month later. I did not sign up for membership and just last week when I was checking my credit card for another matter I noticed that I have been paying Oak & Hearth $18.33 on 5/29, 6/12, 7/24, 8/7, 9/4, 9/18, 10/2, 10/16, 10/30 for a total of $164.97. I tried to call but the message was that I needed to email them. I did and received an email that I did sign up. I emailed back that I didn't. They emailed me back that I did with a whole long email with different instructions. I finally pressed cancel my membership so I wouldn't be charged any more. I just emailed them again with the details that I put on this complaint. And I received the same standard email. I don't know what to do about this.

This business has been charging my credit card a recurring charge of $18.33 1,2, or 3 times a month for at least a year possibly more. This credit card is a business card used for property maintenance and does have other legitimate re-occurring charges on it so this went un noticed for quite sometime. Upon reading the other complaints about Oak and Hearth via the BBB site. This business does the re-occurring charge as a so called subscription in which you receive nothing in return. No services, no product-pure fraud under some subscription loop hole. I have contacted my bank and cancelled the card but would like to get these charges reversed and my money back. According to the bank they have been charging my card since Dec. 7th 2021.

I purchased 2 travel bags a year ago and Oak and Hearth has been charging me $25.53 per month sometimes more than once a month for absolutely nothing. Apparently they do this to everyone who buys from their website and call it a subscription. I never gave my permission for this. Last month they actually charged me twice. $25.53 AND $25.75. I have emailed them to remove me from this so called subscription but judging by other people's reviews I don't hold out much hope for this. I'm a senior living on a fixed income and value every ***** I have. I would like this cancelled immediately.Sincerely *************************

OakHearth aka Oak and Hearth aka Oak & Hearth are the 3 names on my statements. I have no idea who or what they are. Canceled my credit card because of them. Nothing but a scam. Can't call because they don't have live phone calls.

I have been attempting to cancel this ***** monthly membership for some time now. Have documentation for canceling on Aug. 25, 2023, although I have attempted to previously cancel. The company continues to charge my debit card. Amount below is total amount paid by misinformation and bad business practices, as membership terms were not clear upon purchase with no ability to cancel.

I purchased an item from Oak and Hearth back in March of 2022 for $2.00. Since that time I have been getting charged $18.33 a month (19 months total thus far) for a subscription that I never signed up for. I have reached out via phone and email to cancel the subscription to no resolve. My wife actually found the monthly charges through our online banking and we did our research as to how long this has been going on. Attached are the photos of the charges and my original purchase. Nobody has returned my emails for months about the charges and cancelling. I'd like these payments refunded as I was unaware of the recurring charges being taken out. Thank you.
