Purchased 4 new Falken Sincera SN250 A/S Tires (12/04/2024). Noticed defect in right rear tire on 02/25/2025 resulting in purchasing a new tire for safety concerns. This happened in two separate locations. Original purchase amount $944.85 and cost of new tire $238.91. After contacting Falken via email they instructed me they don't work warranty claims directly. The original tire installer stated they needed to see the tire, being away from that location I was unable to provide them with that tire. Original installer was Rutland Tire in ******, *******. Via Falkens website found partnered shop ************ in ************, ******* to install a new tire (same as original). Photos provided of bulge in sidewall of original tire installed. Seeking reimbursement for $238.91 the cost to mount and balance a new Falken Tire.Business Response

We have reached out to this consumer and found that he went to a different independent dealer then recommended, as he was not near his original dealer that installed the tires. Based off his provided pictures, the one tire suffered a Road Hazard injury to the sidewall. The Independent dealer that he visited did not honor our Road Hazard Warranty and provide a replacement Tire as they should have. We have agreed to reimburse this customer directly for the tire replacement cost once he provides additional information so we can issue/mail him a check.Customer Answer

I purchased Falken tires in October 2023there was a $40 rebate/tire.After the business put my tires on I submitted the receipt to Falken ************** They responded with please attach receipt so I did. This customer sent in documents for our Winter Rebate promotion. Our third party replied to her via email she was missing proof of payment on 10/16/2023. Consumer did not respond to the email or send in the required documentation to the rebate center. We did not hear from consumer until she inquired about the rebate status on 9/13/2024. The rebate team member responded back to her on 9/16/2024 letting her know the denial reason (missing required proof of purchase) and let her know an email was sent as follow up to her submission back in October of 2023, and due to not receiving required document, they informed her rebate program was now closed.
We have since contacted her and let her know we will make an exception and once she provides the proof of purchase - which she states she will have to contact dealer where tires were purchased from to obtain another copy, we will honor the terms of the rebate.

Hello, We purchased a ***** CX90 PHeV in August 2023 from **************** in *****, **. The vehicle came with brand new Falken ZIEX CT60A A/S tires size 275/45R21 show a partial warranty to ****** and most dealers/tire stores in the area say 25,000-30,000 miles should be a normal amount of miles before seeing any issues. Our tires have just over ****** miles and we are being told by the dealer at a recent service visit that all 4 tires need to be replaced. I have never owned a vehicle that has needed 4 brand new tires at ****** miles, including high performance z-rated tires on some previous vehicles. The tires were rotated as per the dealership when needed, and checked to make sure they were balanced. ***** has told me to contact your company and we have sent multiple emails with no reply about what options we have, as we should not have to pay full price for brand new tires as there has to be a quality issue with the 4 that were on this vehicle. I look forward to hearing some options as to what can be done in this instance.Business Response

We have checked our logs and did not find any previous communication with this customer. I have since reached thru emails for a reply so I can understand his complaint. He has since replied, and I have asked him to provide documents showing his tires condition. After reviewing his inspection report and photos, two of his tires have worn out early. I have agreed to help him with a goodwill credit towards replacement all four tires in our brand, providing he returns to his dealership or local Falken retailer. He has accepted this offer, but still not yet visited a location for replacing the original equipment tires.Initial Complaint

We purchased our ****** the beginning of last year. Brand new. We have falcon tires on it we have replaced four tires in the last six months. This last one we are getting ready to replace got Punctured by a piece of dull tire weight.. picture included. At 300 dollars a tire you would think they would hold up better. We live on a dirt road. we have No Idea how this happened. There is plenty of wear on the tires at least another 10-20,000 miles. We have reached out to this consumer and confirmed she ran over a wheel weight causing it to penetrate the tire. While it is not normal a dull object penetrates a tire, wheel weights can and do periodically punctures tires, typically from another vehicle hitting the object and the next car running it over, and the weight and momentum of the vehicle forces the object into the tire. This is considered a Road Hazard and there is no Road Hazard warranty on Original Equipment tires. Falken Wildpeak AT4W ******* was purchased in April. The initial quality complaint was filed on May 14th. The tires won't balance, resulting in poor ride quality and potential safety issues, as the vibration is constant. Flaken agreed to a 25% discount; however, this doesn't address the defective tire issue. I have spent over $350 in balancing trying to fix this issue. On Tuesday, I had on the car balancing performed only to be told the tires wouldn't balance and were defective. Flaken claims I'm out of the replacement window even though I started the conversation when I had less than 900 miles on the tires. I want Falken to arrange removal and full credit at a retailer close to my home.Business Response

After our conversation, he was going to go to his ****** dealership to have the tires Road Force balanced and see if there are any uniformity issues. If found to have any issues, we will stand behind our product and work with him and offer replacement tire(s), or an agreeable resolution. I purchased a 2023 Tundra that had Falken Tires on my new purchase, and at ****** miles Im told tires are in the yellow and will need to be replaced, per their website, I should have gotten at least ****** miles, ****** at least my dealer advised they dont use Falken tires anymore, I would like Falken to give me what my new tires were worth at purchase, so I can buy quality tires elsewhereBusiness Response

The ****** Dealership contacted us on behalf of this customer and reported their OE tires are wearing prematurely (but not down to legal wear out limit yet) and they provided pictures that also show minor edge wear. We recommended they continue to drive on the tires till closer to wear out limit and then we would assist with a goodwill credit as their OE tires do not come with a mileage warranty.
I have since reached out to this consumer after this complaint posted and agreed to assist with a goodwill credit of 50% towards replacement Falken branded tires and recommended a Falken tire dealer near her for replacing, and also recommended an alignment service after tires are replaced. Customer will call when ready for replacing tires to take advantage of our 50% goodwill credit.

I purchased new tires from Falken Tire. Had them installed at my local ********* with ****** miles on my car, today at ****** miles on my car two of the tires are completely worn. I have proof of rotation and multiple alignments during the time they were on the car. Falken said absolutely not on a warranty and that I did something to cause this. How? I had the agents with my local ********* (where I always get my car serviced) on the phone with me when calling and they too said the car is meticulous and nothing wrong with the frame, suspension or alignment. Falken replied your tires say different. Rather than trying to assist a customer, they hung up and said they were refusing to assist with the warranty.Business Response

This consumer called us on 7/15/24 regarding the fast irregular wear his tires are exhibiting. We spoke to him and his Tire dealer (*********) and was informed during his first 5k tire rotation visit, the tires showed minor outside edge wear on the two rear tires but still high tread remaining, so his dealer rotated the tires and performed an alignment, as confirmed by him and the dealer. Tread measurements were recorded and provided to us for this visit.
The consumer has now returned to his dealer with approximately ***** additional miles use and the tires show to have worn 2.5x as fast in the last 2k miles - plus exhibit moderate to severe shoulder wear, likely from miss-alignment. We informed the consumer our manufacturers warranty does not cover irregular wear and no assistance is offered.Initial Complaint

I purchased brand new tires from ***** discount tire in Bartonsville ** for ****** on 10-07-23. I had an alignment performed and have rotated my tires every 5k miles since the date purchased. At 15k miles the wear is so uneven that the drive is not smooth with alot of road noise. Hello, we have tried several times to reach out to this claimant at the phone number shown in the BBB page, as well as send an email to his email address also shown and have not yet received any reply. We also searched our call log and have no record of this claimant ever reaching out to Falken Tire to voice a complaint. We will continue to try and reach out to this consumer till BBB close this complaint. I purchased a 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro with Falken Tires. With only 18,000 km on them, and following the service guidelines, the Toyota dealer has advised be that the tires will need to be replaced before the winter. With the km's I drive, I will need to replace my tires with around 20,000 km. This is completely unacceptable after spending over $90,000 for a truck. I have also done some research and been told by Toyota themselves that these tires are subpar to what they normally sell. Meaning Falken knowingly supplied Toyota tires (likely spec'd and approved by Toyota) that were never going to last. I have reached out to Falken and they do not seem interested in making it right; even after I indicated I would give them another chance and buy four new tires from them.Business Response

We have reached out to this Consumer and let him know the outside edge wear his tires are experiencing is considered irregular wear and not covered under our warrantees, and is likely due to miss-alignment, which is a known issue on new 2022 & 2023 Toyota Trucks.
We have recommended he reach out to his Toyota dealer and/or Toyota Corporation and make this complaint know in hopes they will step up and fix the alignment with the recent new improved alignment settings and replace his tires. We have also offered a 25% goodwill credit to be used if replacing with our brand in the hopes he will have a better experience with our product.Customer Answer
