    I have been a patient at Selah Women's Health for several ************ accepted my ********** leaving me to only pay a small copay of around $25. Then in August '22, they dropped my ********** but NEVER notified me, they just continued to see me as a patient, "per Dr's ******* (I was told "she was doing me a favor by continuing to see me despite not accepting my insurance". But, again, NO ONE informed me of this, giving me the option to discontinue services. I only found out when I got the first bill, but by then I had already been seen 2 more times & those bills were pending. I have not gone back sense. I called my insurance several times working with them, they filed a grievance but it was denied because the office was now out of network. I have contacted someone in the billing department of Selah (*****) several times, trying to work with her. She said she spoke to ***************************** multiple times trying to resolve the issue. She, my ********** ********** else I have spoken to agree that I should not be responsible for the remainder of the bill because I was never notified in any way that they no longer accepted my insurance. I spoke with her today (4/21/23), she said after talking to ************ again, the best they could do was "lower my bill to what insurance would have paid". I have already paid what my co-pay would have been- $91.15. They claim that I still owe $641.11 but have "agreed" to accept $512 (this figure was actually MORE than what they proposed before), to which I can set up a payment plan or get turned into collections. I told ***** that I had to close my business (9/5/21) & am no longer working & as a student, I live off my financial aid & have no money to pay. Only by the ***** of God do I have enough to pay my household bills. I have gone without necessary treatment for nearly 7 months. My last billed services were on: 8/17/22 (trtmnt), 9/26/22 (follow-up w/Dr.), and 9/28/22 (trtmnt)ACC#*****A20136 Please let me know if you need more info.
