    I purchased a tree that I love 2 years ago, but almost immediately lights went out. After Christmas last year about a third of the tree is unlit. After selling me replacement parts that didn't work, I was advised in January that since my tree us under warranty they would send me other replacement parts - in September. Well, that came and went. I finally reached out and was told that ONE new bulb (not enough to fix my tree) will be ordered today and mailed in **** days. I replied that I needed a few, and I didn't just order them today - I ordered them in January. I requested they be overnighted to me so I can track them. November 16th is too late to find out that I need another tree. The response I got was that, actually, the parts wouldn't even start to be sent out until the third week of November, which is after the time I was quoted (and still no addressing the fact that I need more than one.) I requested exchanging the tree for an unlit one, getting a credit towards a new purchase, or finally just getting a new tree. I reported this problem in January - I have given them plenty of time for them to make this right. They have not communicated with me at all - at every single step I have to reach out. The haven't apologized for sending me on a wild goose chase with the wrong parts, nor that there is no way I'll get even part of my needed replacements after the third week of November (because they are only starting to get sent then, NOT getting sent at that time.) I am devastated. I love that tree! It's beautiful. I still want to give them my business if they'd just work with me!!

    Be sure to get the extended warranty or they refuse to help you. If your tree is more than 3 they cannot replace remote controls. Very poor customer service!

    Hi, I Purchased a balsam hill tree approximately three years ago. In mid December 2021 the middle section of the tree did not light up. I called balsam hill the Representative told me that the middle section was no longer available, and that the whole tree had to be replaced. I asked if they needed me to send the old tree back they responded no. I then asked when will I get a new tree. The response was, we get a shipment in August call us then. Here I am a year later still waiting for a replacement tree. I just called again this morning which is November 2, 2022 and still no tree. Needless to say, Im probably never getting a tree. At this point if they do send me a replacement its probably going to be something that I dont want. Its supposed to be here within 2 to 3 weeks. We shall see. I will never buy anything else from balsam hill again. And the trees are rather expensive which you would make you think that the customer service would be superb.

    How am I unable to give these people 0 stars? I ordered a tree in October 2022. Only half the tree. arrived. I called them they said to call *****. I have called both of them a gazillion times no response from balsam hill. I have $1500 paid but every time I was told not our problem go call ****** No help whatsoever. Once they get your money they give a darn about you!

    Terrible experience with this company. I purchased a tree during an after christmas sale. The tree was still very expensive and I was hoping to have this tree for many years. The following year when I went to put up the tree over half of the lights did not work. When I reached out to customer service I was told there was nothing they could do for us. I am so disappointed that I spent that kind of money and had such a horrible experience. Please do not buy from this company.

    They sent me a catalog with a coupon. It is supposed to not expire for 6 more days. It doesnt work, if you call they want to do your order over phone??? Why what if they get it wrong & super loud behind them, clearly tons of people. OR - pay full and then call them and they might be able to process?? No way.

    Their trees are NOT worth the $$ anymore! Do not buy. My husband bought me a beautiful tree from here a couple of years ago. Half the lights went out and I called for a replacement because it was still under warranty. The replacement was NOT like the original. Horrible! They said they no longer make them the same:(. They are now similar to the ones you see for sale in ***********
