When I spoke to representative today (name *********) - she confirmed that *** has charged me twice in the past. She said she was unable to refund -- but apparently this has been happenign for some time now. The AntiVirus software is under the SAME name and SAME credit card. Yet, they charged it twice. I would like a refund of $108. Thank you,Rosagna

Signed up and paid for a one year anti virus plan in Jan 2024 and ensured I only paid for the one year by opting out of renewal. Just received on Dec 18, 2024 a notification from my credit card company of an auto renew for over $100 to my card and three emails from Avg stating I had renewed. I opted out again on my profile with Avg and submitted a refund but haven’t gotten any. I want my money refunded and the card number destroyed by the company, because once they get a credit card number, they will continuously charge it unbeknownst to you.

I have had an issue with my avg Tune Up since Jan 2024 when I first contacted avg with this issue. I have attached 3 files with related information. Recently in October 2024 I called avg which started this mess again. I have chatted with them, had them do remote sessions, and used the community forum where I see others have this same issue. The Internet Security has a scroll bar but tune Up does not and I still have not received any resolution. I am just told over and over my case has been escalated. I have screen shots of all this but they will not all fit from last Jan. so if you need any further screenshots please let me know. Thank you

In January 2023 I canceled the *** Tune up. Today I realized that in 2023 they automatically debited my account for *** Driver updates. I contacted *** and was told my money would not be refunded because they had sent emails letting me know I would be billed. Emails I did not get. I am 75 years old and on a fixed income. Every ***** counts. And to top it off there's not an option to delete my card information.

The company somehow charge my bank account on a card that was canceled 10 months ago for an antivirus service I have not used have never used and did not ever order. When I contacted them and talk to their life support they were only offering me a $30 refund on $100 charge for a service I've never used and they're saying it's a renewal that doesn't start until November 19th. Their own policy on their website says you will only receive a partial refund if you have started using the subscription and this subscription would not start until November 19th yet they refuse to give a full refund for this service I never ordered for authorized

Hi there. Once again I turn to the people who help! I have just been hacked. Big big, deep deep hackers. My computer had just been a complete reinstall. I received a text indicating a fraud payment. I bit. I followed the link (had warned my husband off others) and before I knew it "they" owned me. I won't go too far there. Not relevant. To scan and secure my account I went shopping for software to do a deep scan. Landed on Total AV. I scanned their services and my first choice indicated that they had just the program I need for $29. Whatever the cost, I didn't care. As I got deeper into the invoice (I may have been led to purchase by then even, I discovered that I needed more, just this little more for a deeper investigation and repair. *****. You need this too. I believe my invoice wound up $189. I would check, but I'm locked out of my gmail account for 48 hours because of so many password changes and who knows what security checks they might have done. Long story shorter, my computer was destroyed, my phone corrupted, and AV did nothing. NOTHING TO HELP. They over billed me and to get a refund I have to go so deep into their official rules, no support, no way to contest, and the only invoice total is the one I hop I can attach. I just want a refund. I have purchased a new phone, a new computer, and lost days and days to anxiety, depression, frustration, and cost. If they just had customer service to get a refund it would help. I hope you can help. I will leave a review on Trust Pilot. But even that won't get my $189 back. Attached invoice is before they tacked on all the other services I need. Clever, the only invoice reads the original "sale price," Thank you for any help you can provide.

I received an email notice in September about the upcoming renewal of my anti-virus subscription. The renewal date in the email was October 10, 2024. I checked on the website with my account and the renewal date in my account was also October 10, 2024. On September 10, 2024 an *** hit my bank for the cost of a renewal to my subscription in the total of $150.14. No where in the email I received or on my account online stated that they were taking the payment early. I'm on disability and have a very limited income and did not have this expense planned until October when the renewal was stated to take place. I tried to find a way to contact the company online and I was constantly directed to different pages on their website with no way to contact them when I am available to do so. I searched through their FAQ section and there was no information about contacting them through email or by chat. There also was no information about them taking payments an entire monthly earlier than they tell you. I have submitted a request for a cancellation of my subscription, but I have not received any confirmation email or any type of communication from them. My account has overdrawn and I am now scrambling to cover my normal monthly expenses because they decided to take their money a month early.
