This place is a scam. They damage your car so they can charge you for more stuff. The manager and the service department are very unprofessional and dont take any responsibility of anything. I took my brand new car for a simple oil change and tire rotation and all of the sudden I have 2 huge scratches in the tires. They wanted to sell a brand new tire. It is unbelievable. Please avoid this place.Review from Alma H

The Riverside Kia service department is the worst. It takes almost a month to schedule an appointment for an oil change. I had a recall on my 18' Kia Optima and ever since I took it in to have the recall taken care of I've had nothing but problems. Battery was bad, replaced because it was under warranty, spent the whole day at the dealership. Purchased new tires from Kia, had them installed their and within a couple of months one of the tires was leaking out the air. When I called to ask if I could take it in the service advisor discriminated me for being a woman and stated I had no warranty on the tires because I did not purchase the warranty? Knowing that those tires come with a standard warranty and I knew for a fact that warranty was not expired. The service advisor made me feel so low and did not allow me to ask anything else, he didn't even look up my vehicle. I had to go in person to speak with the manager who had to order a new tire and we had to come back the next day or whenever the tire was delivered. They put us in a dangerous situation driving with a faulty tire. My last oil change had to be done at Hyundai because Kia had no availability for over a month! Now my vehicle is running hot, ac shuts off, thermostat goes up and down. Tried to schedule an appointment, 3 weeks until they can even look at it to see what's wrong with it. It's our only vehicle and they don't even offer a loaner car? I explained it was an emergency, but they said there is nothing they can do. I purchased the vehicle their, everything has been done their. Why is my vehicle not a priority when it was purchased and serviced their? Their website states "customer satisfaction guaranteed" well since the purchase of my vehicle this customer is not satisfied. The service department made me feel so low as a woman, thinking I didnt know about my vehicle. I don't even want to go back to the service department.Review from Scott B

Riverside Kia is the worst dealership for service I have ever been to... I was told nothing but lies and my vehicle was never fixed... Probably never even looked at. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment at the service center. on June 18 I dropped my Kia Optima Hybrid off because I was getting a Hydrid System Error message that was causing a shut down of the engine while I was driving on the expressway. "Kenny" was my service advisor and didn't really listen to anything I had to say, just summarized my problem and took my keys. Over the course of the next 2 weeks I called 3 times trying to get a status and "Kenny" was never at work. The people I spoke with said that they didn't know what the problem was and that they were pulling codes for the brakes and electrical system even though I mentioned it was a battery issue. They said they were opening a work ticket with the factory to try and find out what the problem was. On July 5 "Kenny" called me and said they couldn't duplicate my problem and I could come and pick up my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle, the invoice only said they couldn't duplicate the problem. So I went and spoke to "Kenny" and asked what codes were pulled he said none. I told him that whomever I spoke with said they did. He had no answer. I then asked about the factory work tickets they submitted since they couldn't find a problem and "Kenny" said they never opened any work tickets or even contacted the factory. "Kenny" also mentioned that he and his technician had test drove my vehicle on 3 separate occasions for an hour each time… LIES.. when I picked up my vehicle it had only been driven 4 miles and papers on the passenger seat were not moved. Not to mention when I dropped it off “Kenny” said they can’t test drive a vehicle longer than 10 minutes or 10 miles (I can’t remember which he said) I have never been so appalled at the complete lack of service in trying to get help with my problem. I will never return to this dealership !!!Review from LESLIE B

This dealership is one of the worst I've ever encountered. I went in to buy a Niro EV with a loan approval from my credit union. I took a job that was 200 miles roundtrip commute and told their salesman, Angel D*****, that I wanted something significantly more economical than my 2020 Sorento Hybrid, which I loved. I was able to sell it at CarMax next door and had 5k to put as a down, even though I already had a loan approved with my bank. I stressed to him repeatedly that I wanted to be financed with my bank and was not interested in other financing. He told me that I was not able to afford the Niro with my loan approval and he offered me to look at the Optima or Forte GT. I settled on the GT even though I did not want this, I wanted the Niro. Turns out it gets the exact same mileage as my Sorento Hybrid. I called my bank a week later expecting to see the financing on my mobile banking and it turns out that they told me it was not funded. I reached out to Angel and he told me that they financed my car through Kia Finance because they got me a better rate. I specifically told him that I did not care what the rate was because I was loyal to my bank and its perks. When I went to the dealership to discuss the issue to Frank V****, General Sales Manager, he took a week to finally be available to see me and when I explained that all I wanted was them to take the car back so I can get the car I wanted, he was so rude, condescending, and took no accountability of Angel's deception and lie. I did speak to Angel before meeting with Frank and he admitted that he did not get my permission to running financing with Kia. So I'd like to warn everyone to please stay away from Kia of Riverside. I actually bought a new Niro in San Diego county with Ball Kia (mainly due to inventory) and they treated me like a valuable customer, giving me a discount on my car and redeeming my experience with Kia.Review from Wei Li

This business is terrible. Do not support and do business with this place. They raise prices and rip off people. Service person knew I was honestly needing help but they overcharged me labor of 1500 on my almost 8k bill. It wasn't until I asked help from another employee there to see if I'm being ripped off. And after that employee did research it was in fact true they ripped me off and tried to pocket 1500 from me. The employee got me a refund check of 1400 to me but aside from this employee there is no decent person there. They will try to rip you off first thing!Review from Jorge C

My 2016 Kia Optima has been at the dealership since October 20 2021, 67,000 miles and took it for an oil change and a diagnostic and it resulted in a Bad Engine and i needed a new one?! I was out of Warranty being a Second owner, but i did have extended warranty. It's been 6 months now and i still DON'T have my car, after the parts finally came in that took 5 months and now they said the Starter went out so they replaced it on my Dime!! Now they said the Transmission is Bad and Kia is Goodwilling it?? Does Kia Know how to make cars anymore? I'm a repeat customer..I had a Kia Rio before the Optima. This has been a Burden to me and my family, I have been borrowing my mom's car and she is NOT happy!! It's April 20'th and my car is still at Riverside Kia, why doesn't Kia admit they screwed up and build a Bad Engine or are Kia's only good for 67K???!! The car is still not running the way it should at the moment, why don't they just get me a different car and swallow your pride? This is Definitely my last Kia Automobile, never again!!!
