I had a wonderful time in 1997 setting up my Trust with Scott and have recomended them several times, but no longer. We Just left after amending a trust which took months and simple mistakes were made like the original date of the trust was 1997 and changes they made stated it was 2997; which my bank pointed out to me when giving them; what I thought, were finished and (non error) certification papers. Wow what a simple mistake to make. The first mistake My wife found which was all the phone #s were wrong for 4 people mentioned in the trust on every page they needed to be. They were all mismatched to the names as if a novice employee did the work. I found out later it was a long term owner that made these mistakes according to the rep I talked too. Then the first notary found the change of giving my children 100% of control on the date of our death was never made it still stated the %'s released up to age 35 when they get full control. She said she would get it corrected. That is a big mistake if it wasn't caught. We clearly put that instruction on the worksheet they gave us. Oh by the way the last thing the final notary did was give us an attorney client termination letter. Like I would ever use their services again! I ended by saying I will be posting my reviews and then was threatened with a cease and desist letter and to be sued if we gave bad reviews. Then we heard we'll see who has deeper pockets. My wife was present for this last notarization. Every statement herein is true and NOT false and to the best of my ability in correct order. I am posting this review based on the GROUP of people who may research this review in the future and that they would get accurate info based on our experience of this local business and do so based on my first ammendment right to speak freely. It is NOT defamatory and it does not include any untruth. I believe it is too important for the future group to be pressured into deleting my review.

I was living overseas but visited California in 2019 and wanted to have a living trust done so after some research I contacted Darling Law firm and hired them to do my will and trust. When they were done they mailed it to me overseas and while the overall documents were close to being correct there were a number of typos but there was not much I could do about it then. So in 2022 I came back to the US but was in Florida so I contact them and told them my new address and that I wanted to make changes to the document and fix the typos plus I had some questions. The office manager sent me by mail some paper work she told me to fill it out and send it back. what I received was not really relevant to my concerns so I copied and pasted all my questions from my trust document and stuck it in a envelope and mailed it to them as for some reason they wont take a scanned document sent in a PDF email. Anyways so I tracked it and a few days after it arrived I called and they told me that they had given it to the attorney and that he would call me . I replied that to just take a call when I was not prepared would likely be a problem as I may not my copies of the documents with me . So about a week later I get a call from the front office person and she schedules a telephone call for 3 pm but at 3 pm there is no call so I call and they tell me that it is scheduled for 3.30 and I am supposed to come into the office in Riverside, Hello I am in Florida ! I mean now I have spent more then a month of dealing with this nonsense when I told them in the beginning that time was of the essence as I have a heart condition and likely needed surgery soon. Anyways now I am paying $2,500 to have a new trust drafted . I would not recommend this Law firm

All of the previous reviews are spot on. They are the rudest and most incompetent attorneys we have ever dealt with. Trying to straighten out our parents trust has been a complete nightmare with this firm. We have gone as far as to hire other attorneys to clean up their mess. They have given out our personal information to a stranger. It is correct that when they receive your money, no more services are coming are completed. I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy.
