    Contract signed 1/28/21 with addendum on 3/5/21 and completion on 3/8/21 for the installation of 55x15 ft of artificial turf with sub base and 65 ft of drainage with inlets.Around fall of 2021 I noticed 4x1 ft of caved in area where sub base has failed and turf indents. I contacted The Paver Company (2/7/22) and original project manager (*****) came to inspect (5/13/22). His resolution was to either fix it with cost (despite warranty) or fix it for free but not warranty that repair (despite contract having warranty on installation).***** and The Paver Company continue to skirt his company responsibility and refuses to fix the product according to the contract.

    One of their designers came and gave me a quote for backyard paving, estimating *****k. When we chatted the subsequent time to finalize things, he increased the price to over 14k. The justification given was that the initial estimate hadn't taken into account the retaining wall that had been discussed...because yeah, an initial quote that accounts only for partial service makes a lot of sense...Disappointing and unprofessional when people play bait and switch games like this to try to get your business.The company later reached out trying to gain my trust and business again to get my negative review removed. They werent helpful though, and in fact, disrespectful. The owner, *****, didnt even own up their mistake and blamed me. Long story short, this company caused me stress and wasted my time...It's not often you have an experience this negative with a business.

    The review in question mentions a discrepancy in pricing for a backyard paving project. We would like to clarify that our pricing process involves careful consideration of all project requirements, and any adjustments to initial quotes are based on changes in scope REQUESTED BY THE CLIENT.


    In this case, the increase in price was due to the request of additional work, specifically the construction of a retaining wall, which was requested after the initial conversations with the client. We always strive to provide transparent communication regarding pricing and project details, and any adjustments made were communicated openly and with full disclosure.


    Furthermore, we want to address the claim that we reached out to the client in an attempt to have the negative review removed. We want to emphasize that we never requested or pressured the client to remove their review. We also want to highlight that the client's actions in this matter, including misuse of multiple review platforms in an attempt to obtain a lower price for their project, this misuse of these platforms is troubling. We believe in fair competition and trust that our dedication to providing quality service will be accurately reflected in our online reputation.

    It's important to note that despite our efforts to resolve the issue and offer competitive pricing, we were met with hostility. We believe it's essential to maintain integrity in all our interactions, and we stand by our commitment to providing fair and transparent pricing to all our clients.

    We appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that our dedication to customer satisfaction and ethical business practices will be acknowledged.
