    The initial work done by Petkus Brothers was completed quickly and professionally with a great on site crew. At the time of completion, the invoice was paid in full upon demand and a punch-list was provided to our point of contact ***** Petkus. The electrical items on the punch-list were addressed quickly. However there were other items on the punch-list that have never been addressed. There is a history of more than four months of me reaching out multiple times with text messages, phone calls and calls into the office to get Petkus Brothers to respond. I often get text messages Ill run it by *** and we will handle it next week. But nothing ever transpires. I called into the office one last time to ask if I was on the schedule for the last possible week this could project could be completed and of course I was not. I asked to talk to the principal owner ***** President ***** Petkus. I quickly received a snarky text from my point of contact ***** Petkus calling me a bully and telling me I needed to go elsewhere for my work. However, ***** knows that I also have an open warranty issue because there are missing clips and fasteners which were never installed. I provided pictures to *****. ***** cannot simply dismiss his companies warranty obligations because he doesnt like me. He turned his lack of responsiveness and his inability to follow through into an unprofessional personal attack on me. I request the principal owner and **************** ***** Petkus contact me to discuss this situation and to provide a resolution for the warranty service.

    ****** and ***** Petkus have spoken and I have acknowledged our fault in the matter and i have apologized. It is not what we do and I intend to correct the situation and I appreciate ******'s honest and professional approach, it will be helpful in making us the best we can be. We have come to an agreement on how to move forward and I will initiate those actions today.

    Made my third attempt to contact Petkus with a call to address the problems I am having with my life time warranty solid patio cover installed in 2011. By the volume of complaints about similar problems I am seeing here, the BBB seems the only way to get a response from Petkus. I had Petkus install open patio covers on my front and back entrances and then called Petkus on 2011 to change one of the covers to a solid cover. I also was not aware that Petkus was using a third party installer until it was time to write the check. They requested I write the check to another name instead of Petkus which I now assume was the installer, but assured me that Petkus still would warranty the work and my proposal and contract is under the Petkus name. Over the past few years I have noticed some minor leaking around the corners near the seal of the house and the patio cover. Now several of the underside ceiling seams that extend vertically from the house to the end of the patio cover are discoloring. My concern is that there are now leaks collecting in those seams. When the roof was installed, I was advised to purchase the heavy duty snow roof {doesnt snow where I live) since I have an oak tree near my house, but there has never been a large collection of leaves weighing down the top of the cover to have caused any damage. My attempt to contact Petkus was to get an estimate to repair the problem, but when I pulled out the receipt, it reminded me about the warranty. I am still waiting for a response.

    I purchased a solid top patio cover from this organization in summer of 2021. The patio was installed by a third party that the original contractor hired without my approval. The patio cover was finished around Novermber of 2021 and it leaked terribly the first time it rained. It took weeks and several missed appointments for Petkus to come and investigate the first time. They have been out to look at it 3 times with no resolution and they have missed more than 10 appointments to come out at various times. I have three children and a full-time job and I have missed several days of work on different occasions to wait for someone from Petkus to show up and they never did. I want them to come fix the ~$20,000 patio cover that has major leaks, ruined the outside tile on the ground, and is ruining my late-aunt's furniture. Not to mention that we cannot use our back door when it rains because of a slip hazzard and standing water.
