Absolute bottom of the barrel operation. Do NOT give them so much as your name. Tell them to mail everything and to not call again. And by no means pay them a dime. Often the cars theyre referring to have probably been parted out or sold for scrap, ie, crushed. AND NOW, one of the owners seems to be running different scam via Nextdoor - trying to hire someone to do some online work with his listed rental properties. Ive found him in 3 different locations with the exact same intro information; ************, ************* **, and ************. Beware!! The listed phone # belongs to, you guessed it, Pacific Retrieval in **********.

We recover towing and impound fees.  Yes many of the vehicles get sent to pick and pull or a scrap yard.  Unfortunately, we have no idea what Nextdoor is, or any rental properties you speak of.  We do not have any locations in **, **, or CO.  It seems whatever research you have done has led you to a false path.  If you have any questions in regard to our business, feel free to call or email us at ********************************

I gave this business a call to try to see what option i had to resolve this payment because the amount was allot. I'm not rich but i understand the bill needs to be paid. The customer service i had from this man who answer was beyond awful. All he kept telling was i need to pay the full amount with an aggressive tone he didn't even bother to help or give another option as making payments. He started raising his voice at me with an attitude. He threatened me to call my ex to get the money from him. Thats when he ****** me off. When the car is under both our name. Then he decided to be rude and click. Wow **** ************* ever with lousy customer service. You should be ashame to be in business and speak to customer like that. You obviously didn't get taught morals. I'm certainly not going to allow a man to talk me down.

My Name is ******* *. My car was stolen and sold by an Ex girlfriend. I released liability when I noticed traffic camera violations arriving at my home. I contested the violations since the person in the vehicle was clearly not me. A year later after releasing liability of the vehicle I get a notice it has been found abandoned. I already released this vehicle. Now I am getting exaggerated bills for storage and towing fees. A towing company claims they towed this car and kept in storage for 60 days. Bill $2,605.00 I have tried to contest this and have till 11-2-2024 to contact them. I have tried on multiple occasions and all I get is voicemail.

Pacific Retrieval is an end window for an identity theft operation. Someone registered my name for a car I never owned, probably used it for drug running and then dumped it. Some fraudulent tow truck outfit charges 10x normal fees to haul and impound the vehicle, and then they send the bill to Pacific Retrieval. Get a client list for Pacific Retrieval and you will have target-rich list for racketeering and identity theft perpetrators.

Abusive language. Threats of legal consequences. All over a car I haven't owned for 3 years being towed in a city in which I have not resided for 4 years. *******, the self proclaimed "Manager" couldn't conduct a business conversation if given a script.

Being from a customer service environment for ************************************************************************************************* Don't get me wrong. I understand that they probably deal with angry customers all day, but when you start off trying to be pleasant and you get nothing but push back in rudeness in return, it's make it easy to turn a positive person into a detractor. My whole goal was to try to get this issue resolved as they are trying to get me to pay a debt for a vehicle that was towed that is no longer and was no longer in my possession. I really do not appreciate being spoken down to and I definitely do not appreciate being hung up on. Please fix your customer service for the future customers. Otherwise you're going to continue to get bad reviews. I would also greatly appreciate a call back from a supervisor or manager

Asked for an extension to get them the information they needed to prove the vehicle in question was not mine, was transferred to a "manager" who was extremely rude, spoke over me, wouldn't listen to my explanation, and proceeded to hang up on me.

I see a lot of the reviews here are very negative, and I can understand that their nature of business is not the most pleasant one, but they are a necessity after all.I received call from ****** from Pacific Retrieval, stating that a motorcycle under my name has been towed, and accrued $4300 in debt. I was shocked, since I sold that motorcycle long time ago. I always handed down my release of liability to DMV in person, so I thought I am all covered. Apparently, DMV dropped the ball hard on me, and even so, they are not required to let me know that the transfer was completed. The motorcycle is long gone, and I do not keep the buyer's information, so I am left to blame after all. ****** helped me get the amount down to $2500, which is much better than the original amount. ****** also gave me some tips and advice on how to prevent this happening again in the future.****** was very nice and polite, his professionalism is at the highest level, especially dealing with this kind of job, where I can only imagine a lot of people must have thrown tantrums at him.******, thank you very much for your help, and I wish you the best.
