      on 7/10/2024 Cat exteriors company came to my house to replace my roof but in order to do that they had to remove and reinstalled my panel after the job get done the instruction was to use the existing framing and parts in order for me not to lose my warranty with ***** per their instructions because this panels are lease it was just a simple job remove panel put new roof and put the panels back with no problems come to find out i look at the panels after they were done an they had changed all the parts and framing of my system so now i lost my warranty that i had with tesla now if i want tesla to put everything the same way it was before with ***** equipment an my warranty back they charged $4000.00 where i already paid cat exteriors $2200.00 to do the job why do i have to paid again where it was cat exteriors fault for not communicating with there worker and not supervising the job like they were suppose too until this date they haven't resolve the issue or the problems please i need your help this company is giving h*** for something they have done (my tesla warranty covers for any damage,problems or ware and stare with the system at no extra cost)

      I am writing to file a complaint against CAT Exteriors, a company that has engaged in unethical and predatory business practices in relation to an **** contract signed by my elderly relatives, ****** and ******* ******. The McCrays, who are senior citizens, were misled into entering into a contract with CAT Exteriors under false pretenses. The company misrepresented itself as being affiliated with the county, leading the homeowners to believe that they were working with a government-endorsed entity. Furthermore, CAT Exteriors had the McCrays sign the contract electronically, without providing them a paper copy for review, denying them the ability to fully understand or properly consider the terms of the ************ the time of signing, ******* ****** was under medical care following a stroke, and ****** ****** was dealing with serious ongoing infections and was being tested by a neurologist. These health conditions impaired their ability to make an informed decision regarding the contract, and they were not provided with adequate time to review the agreement or consult with family members before signing.Since the signing of the contract, CAT Exteriors has continuously increased the quoted price for the **** unit, even though no work has been performed. This price escalation, without any justification or prior warning, is unreasonable and appears to be part of a pattern of predatory pricing practices. After discussing the contract with family members, the ******* determined that the quoted price was significantly higher than the fair market value, further evidence that the company was exploiting their vulnerable position.Despite multiple requests from the ******* to cancel the contract and stop all work, CAT Exteriors has continued to harass them, even threatening legal action and claiming that they could lose their home if they do not proceed with the overpriced **** installation.

      We deeply regret hearing about the experience of Mr. ****** ****** and Mrs. ******* ******. Their well-being and trust are of utmost importance to us,and we sincerely apologize for any confusion or distress caused by our actions.We would like to address the specific issues raised in your complaint and offer a resolution:
      Misrepresentation of Affiliation: We want to clarify that CAT Exteriors is not affiliated with any government or county agency. We regret that our communication led to any misunderstanding. We will review our marketing materials and customer interaction processes to ensure that there is no room for confusion or misrepresentation in the future.
      Electronic Contract Signing: We understand that having a physical copy of a contract to review is crucial, particularly when significant decisions are being made. While electronic contracts are a part of our business process, we realize that the ******* may have been unaware the contract was sent to the email provided by them.  We sincerely apologize for not providing them with a physical copy if they indicated a request to do so. There was a cancelation notice provided with the contract emailed to ******* and they did cancel the contract. Going forward, we will ensure that all customers, particularly those in vulnerable situations, are given enough time and support to review any concerns they may have.
      Price Escalation: We are concerned by the claims of price increases without proper communication or justification. We will immediately investigate any pricing changes related to the ******* contract and ensure that they are not subject to any undue increases. If any unjustifiable price hikes have occurred, we are committed to reviewing and adjusting the terms of their agreement accordingly. In this case there were no increases in the contract price.
      Cancellation Request and Harassment: We sincerely apologize if our communication has caused undue stress or fear. It is never our intention to harass or intimidate any customer. We understand the McCrays wish to cancel the contract and stop all work. This contract was cancelled in the first week of February by the McCrays and all  progress has been halted. No work has been performed at the McCrays home. Our customer service team will immediately reach out to them to confirm the cancellation.
      We hope this situation has been resolved to the satisfaction of the McCrays.  Our team will follow up directly with them to confirm the contract has been canceled, and any concerns they have are addressed with the urgency and respect they deserve.

      I've repeatedly asked them in person and on calls to remove this number from their call list. It belongs to my wife and she doesn't need to be contacted. Any correspondence can occur through the number they have on file for me. The call her 3-5 times a day. They even called again within 1 hour of me actually taking their call on my wife's phone and asking them to remove the number. This is harassment and at this point I will go out of my way to get any other contractor to do my future home improvement jobs. Cat Exterior's calling and selling practice is revolting.

      This company repeatedly calls me even though I am on the *** do not call list and told them on multiple occasions to remove me. They use different numbers every time from multiple area codes. They lie saying they are doing a manufacturer special then give me prices higher than I can get from other similar businesses.

      Absolutely terrible customer service during install and after the fact. While installing I complained that glass was left in my backyard around where my dogs run around and where my son walks frequently doing his chores. The glass was from when they removed my window to ***lace. I ended up cleaning the glass and was assured that there would be a ***ort and escalated through the proper channels by the sales ***resentative (who conveniently no longer works there). During install while we were inspecting the product and the work, I noted that there was a tear in the screen of the window. I told the install crew who told me that they would ***ort to their service department and that someone would call me to ***lace or ***air. No one ever called. When I called the service department I was told they would follow up and return the call. I never heard back.Over the last few months I have had multiple calls from CAT exteriors about how my service was and if there were other projects I would like done...the outside of my home to be painted ($27,000.00 was the quote for my ***** sqft home), indoor painting, additional windows, and my HVAC system. I told them no multiple times and asked them to help with the ***air to my screen. I was given the service department number again, I called and left a message. No phone call back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I should have come to the reviews and I would have seen how bad they are, that is on me. They make you feel like they have top notch customer service then ignore you until a sales *** decides they need business. I asked them to please not contact me again for further jobs or possible sales. They literally harass you which I told the supervisor I was speaking to and that if it continued I would proceed with legal action for harassment. Hopefully they leave me alone, I just hope this review helps someone else avoid this company!

      This company calls me continuously. I managed to get them to stop for a very short period of time. Then it started up again. I block every single number they call me from and they just call from another number. They have also called me from numbers that do not show up as "Cat Exteriors". When I answer, I have told them I am not interested and to stop calling. That only makes them call more. One day they called three times back-to-back while I was in a meeting and kept rejecting the call. I want them to stop calling me, I am not interested in anything they have to sell.

      Company has repeatedly spam called me no less than 30 times over the last few months. Requests to stop calling me and to remove me from their call list have been to no avail. This company is a vile, repugnant, evil stain on the world. I can't wait for AI to replace their callers so these disgusting people will be out of jobs. STOP CALLING ME.

      CAT Exteriors consistently calls be about their services. I don't know this company and I'm not interested in their services and asked that my number be removed from their database, but that falls on deaf ears and they say they have no way to removed numbers. That seems like a lie based on similar complaints here and the company responding that we've removed that person's number. CAT Exteriors, you've recently called me on 1/27/25, and 2/4/25 and I asked again that my number be removed. You called again on 2/12/25 and I told the *** I want my number removed and he hung up on me. CAT Exteriors, please remove my number from your database and stop harassing me or I will take further action.

      So they sold me on the best HVAC system and my old system needed replacement a week later they call me and say that they would have to do extra work to install the system they promised and they would install a better HVAC for no extra charge if i agreed so they lied to me right off the bat and it was to late to cancel then they promised on my contract that they would check and seal the ducting now with the heater on one room is colder than the other in called and they tell me that my ducting is old and needs replaced and they would be happy to do that for ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ anywhere between 300 to 1200 dollars i would not recommend them to anyone they also over charged for what they did and they were supposed to get permit to do the work never saw them

      We did contract to install a Daikin 3 ton HVAC in Mr. ********* home on 12/03/24. We were scheduled to install the system on 01-09-25 and there was no call to ask for more money a week after the contract was signed. A phone call was made to Mr. ********* on 12-24-25 stating the Daikin system on the contract was unavailable in the region and was asked if was interested in installing an American Standard System of the same size and warranty. We confirmed he was authorizing us to install the American Standard System and had him sign a Change Order. We did seal and tape the existing ducts and are in the process of scheduling the state mandated Hers Test. Once this test is performed, we can determine if any air flow or leaking issues are present and will schedule a repair if needed.  The contract did not include installation of any ducting. Copies are available of all permitting, duct testing report and terms and  conditions of the Vacation Voucher. 

      Regarding the Vacation voucher, all of the terms and conditions are discussed at the initial visit and emailed to the homeowner.

      I am rejecting this response because: they are telling big lies they told me that they had to do extra work to put hvac on that they sold me and wanted me to agree on a different unit that was a better unit at no extra cost my problem is that they told me that the first unit was the best now they tell me the unit that will be easier to install is a better unit they were not true full and all they sealed was the registers and he only had to do 1 all the other's were already sealed the man doing the sealing said that they didn't need to go in the addict so I don't know how can say the ducting was old and needed replacement when they didn't even go into the addict

      We implore Mr. ********* to read our response completely. We did not tell him it would be easier to install the American Standard system. He was only told is that it was a more expensive system. We offered the American Standard system due to the Daikin system being unavailable in the region at that time. We did ask him if it would be ok to substitute the Daikin with the ***************** and he agreed by signing a Change order authorizing us to make the substitution. At no time did anyone say it was easier to install because it was a better system. Regarding the ducts, there is a  Hers test, which is a state mandated third party company, is in the process of being scheduled.  This test will  determine there are any leaks in the ducting system. Once the report is final we will take care of any services the test technician has discovered. If we can schedule the test with him we can address any issues at that point.

      I have specifically ask them to remove my number from their call list. Someone got really smug with me and said they don't have a call list. So, I said well cease and desist from calling me and hung up. They keep calling and calling and won't *******, I will go further with the ************** letter and on to court if I have to.
