      I signed a 24 month Lease with POS Portal in August of 2017. The lease very clearly in bold letter states 24 month lease. I realized about a year ago they were still charging me. The lease was for equipment to run my Square POS system. So I contacted Square multiple times with no resolution. I finally got Square to tell me to contact POS directly. I contacted them and was informed since I didn't "cancel" the lease after 24 months that is why they kept charging me. I informed them that's not how a lease works, it is for a specified period of time. Finally after going back and forth with the person they eventually said that it's for a maintenance or warranty. I never signed up for a warranty or anything like to that matter. The entire way the lease is worded is very deceiving and they are counting on people not realizing what they are being charged for. I have asked for a 26 month refund of $1733.42. I was offered 6 months which I refused and they told me they were not authorized to refund anymore and would have to check with their boss. I was told they were out of the office for a couple of days and they would get back to me after. It has been over 2 weeks and I have not heard back from them. I assumed this was going to happen and they would hope I would go away. I assume this is how they make a profit, by their deceptive business practice. I informed them I would be filing a complaint with the BBB and that I saw they had similar complaints. The person on the phone did not seem to care. I would like a refund of my $1733.42.

      I had a terrible experience with POS Portal. I leased equipment, and after the lease expired, and the equipment was virtually paid in its totality, they kept charging me the same amount for 2 more years, claiming that I hadnt called to confirm I didnt want to continue paying the lease amount!?!Their response: you should've read the fine print. Terrible customer service, questionable business practicesI would stay away from this company.
