My vehicle was repossessed by this horrible company. My wife and I went later that day to pick up our vehicle. As we were waiting for our car to be brought out of the lot someone on the opposite side of the fence where the vehicles are kept, crashed into something with what sounded like a forklift. Then yelled Fk! Moments later my wifes vehicle was brought to the gate and there were scratches down the passenger side towards the rear where there was no previous damage. The girl at the lot who was releasing the vehicle said we would be sent a claim form, she took pictures of the damage and said they would review the video to see what caused the damage. We never received any further information. I completed the affidavit which was sent to me via a request I made by finally tracking someone down at this company. I completed, notorized it and included pictures of the damage. After patiently waiting and the given timeline on the documents had elapsed, I reached out once again to the generic email inbox of this place. Within minures I received a response from a ******************* claiming to be an operations manager and that he was denying my claim. He stated that the damage was preexisting, which Is not true and that my claim was filed 91 days after, again not true. After asking to see the pictures indicating the preexisting damage and contact info for his supervisor he refused to return any correspondence of mine. His email only indicates a fax number and no phone number, when the phone number I found online for this business is called, it rings once goes to silence and then disconnects. Not only was damage done to my wifes vehicle, this same company repossessed my vehicle in August 2023,, many items were stolen from my vehicle while in their possession as well. This company needs to be shut down! Each time it cost my wife and I $180 each just to get what possessions werent stolen by this shady operation!

This vehicle was repossessed on 10/21/2023 and towed back to our lot. The customer is claiming that we did damage to the passenger side rear quarter panel, but the damage was already there. Our intake pictures show the damage as well as our condition report. The customer husband sent a complaint that I received this week. I immediatly looked into the account and saw that the same damage he is claiming, on the pictures we took of the intake of this unit. I denied his claim due to the damage being there before the repossession.

I am rejecting this response because:this information is incorrect,  the vehicle was repossessed and then picked up from the storage lot on the same day 10/31/2023.  If there was any damage done it was not preexisting.   I have asked to see the pictures and was not given access to the information,  I am the co owner of this vehicle although my wife ******* is the primary owner.  Legally I should be able to request any and all information. Photos,  and to have the contact information of a supervisor.  Since my emails were unreesponded to.  The fact that the company managing the repossession of my vehicle, transporting,  storage and release,  cant get their dates correct leads to lack of credibility on their part regarding the supposed pictures of the preexisting damage.  Furthermore,  the lady at the lot where the vehicle was picked up only a few hours later the same day it was repossessed stated that the damage was done in their possession  as I had indicated in my affidavit and at the yard at the time of the walk around prior to being released.  Justifies my rightful request to have the damage done by this company due to the negligence of one of their employees during a step of their process.  This company has so many negative reviews which speak to the character of what kind of fly by night operation they run,  even included in poor reviews are some by employees who left because their own conscience couldnt be turned by this business and the shady operations they run.

This unit was repossessed on 10/31/2024 at 3:24 AM. The unit was towed back to our lot with a wheel lift tow truck. The agent completed the condition report of the unit and picture were taken of the entire unit. The damage that the customer is claiming was already there at the time of the repossession and are showing on our pictures. Due to the damage already existing, we denied the customer's claim. This is the second car that we have repossessed from this customer. We advised the customer to contact his finance company and file a complaint with them. We have not received a complaint from their finance company as of today.

I am rejecting this response because: this company has yet to provide any photographic proof of the damage.  The damage occurred on 10/31 at the lot where I retrieved the car hours later after it was repossessed.   ************ has incorrectly provided the information of when the vehicle was initially repossessed.  I had no vehicle repossessed on 10/21 as initially indicated in their response to my complaint.  I followed the steps in obtaining and filing the affidavit provided which was obtained by steps given to my wife and I at the lot at time of pick up.  As I awaited on the vehicle to be retrieved the damage occurred on the other side of the fence where the lady who released the vehicle to me acknowledged the damage had just occurred and was the one who provided the process for filing the claim and affidavit information. She also said they had the collision which caused the damage on video.   At no time was there any mention of going thorough my finance company till the response to my complaint.  Why should I need to do that when there is a damage claim process in place?  Which I have followed.  At no time has this company produced either the photos,  nor the video from the yard,  and should not be taken at their word alone,  their word alone would not hold up in a court of law.   Which very well my become my path to resolution regarding this matter.  Someone sitting on the other end of **********,  well away from the lot where my vehicle was taken to and damaged is writing responses to my complaint and cannot speak to something theyre were not a party too,  nor done their part to produce any proof of substance in regards to this matter.

      ******,

On 2-01-23 you picked up your car from our ********** Lot, during the process you examined your car and signed a condition report as to the condition of the vehicle. When your car was repossessed, there were several pictures taken of your vehicle inside and out. In the pictures we have there were several scratches throughout, your license plate frames were intact and those also had some minor scratches but were not broken.

      On 2-1-23

**** our office admin received a call from you at about 1:35pm you were very angry and shouting about damages to your car. **** advised you that he would try to help you and you started cursing at him. **** advised that he send you a claim form, and you again started cursing at him and then hung up. **** attempted to send you a claim form and you refused it by hanging up on him.

I have attached the signed condition report you signed.

      Thank you

My vehicle was repossessed on 12/20/2022. I have made several attempts to contact this company about my vehicle and they never answer the phone. I ended up having to schedule an appointment online to get my personal property from the vehicle. When I arrived at my appointment, I was asked to pay $75 to get my personal property. At no time was I advised that this fee was to be paid to get my personal property. When I told to rude lady that I was working with an attorney for a lemon law buy back for this vehicle she refused to help me and threw me off the yard. Per ********** Vehicle code 22851(b) it says: No lien shall attach to any personal property in or on the vehicle. The personal property in or on the vehicle shall be given to the current registered owner or the owners authorized agent upon demand and without charge during normal business hours. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, normal business hours are Monday to Friday, inclusive, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., inclusive, except state holidays. A gate fee may be charged for returning property after normal business hours, weekends, and state holidays. I was there at my schedule appointment during business hours. I should have not been refused to get MY PERSONAL PROPERTY!

I see that you did make an appointment for 12-22-22 at 3pm to pick up your property. Per the contracted rate with your finance company yes there was a $75 fee to pick up your property. These fees should have been explained to you by your finance company and we have no control over that.

We are not a *************** ********** vehicle code ***** B does not apply here because we are a ********************* The law for repossessions and personal property falls under Business and Professions Code 7507.09

I see that your property was returned to you on 2/07/23

My car was repossessed on 5/2-5/3/22. I paid to have my car released to me by 5/4 7:30am. The company told me I could not pick up my car without an appointment which was at earliest 5/6. They wont tell me my charges and wont give me any other options to retrieve my vehicle when I have already done my part. They confirmed they have all my release paperwork.

      Business response

      05/23/2022

We require a 24 hours notice for all appointments. This is so that we can have the unit ready to be picked up at the time of the appointment. Once the appointment is confirmed and we have read the instructions from the client, then we sent out an appointment confirmation with the amount due, if any. Customer had an appointment on 05/06/22 at 8:45 AM. Customer showed and her property was returned. Nothing was said by the customer at the time of the appointment.

Our lot unsually has approx 200 cars on it. We have to have notice to get the car out and available for release. The customer was upset because her release came in late from her finance compay and she could not get her car on a Friday. She had to wait until Monday, as we cannot release the unit without the release from the finance company.

      Customer response

      05/23/2022

I am rejecting this response because:This response is generic and not factual. I received my vehicle on Friday 5/6/2022. The response states I was unable retrieve my vehicle until Monday, which is not true. I spoke with the customer service agent on 5/3, in which she confirmed my paperwork had been received by the company and my appointment would most likely be confirmed prior to 5/6/22. I informed the customer service representative on the phone that I had read the yelp reviews regarding complaints of appointments being cancelled with short notice. That is when the rep stated that would I my occurrence if my paperwork had not been received, but assured my paperwork had already been received. This company is full of lies, as they continue to lie even in the response to my complaint t.

      Business response

      05/24/2022

I did get the days mixed up but not the facts. We require a 24 hours notice for any appointment. This has been our policy for years.

      Customer response

      05/24/2022

I am rejecting this response because:you originally stated you had not received my documentation to release my vehicle. Now you are stating that there is a 24 hour policy to release vehicles. Your agent also used my signature to sign documents I did not authorize nor view, nor read. My belongings were not bagged nor boxed s stated in the email you sent me. My items were charged a fee to be boxed which they were not. The entire operation is just seeking ways to charge fees when unnecessary. I was even told by the service rep on the phone to continue calling to verify if there was an opening to retrieve my vehicle. Therefore, is this 24 hour made up policy allowed exceptions? My license plates were removed from my vehicle as well, even after my loan and paperwork was paid and received by your office immediately.

      Business response

      05/25/2022

No. We have always had a 24 hour notice required. We pull vehicles for release on that day at 5 am. I am sorry that you are not happy with the processes put in place. As far as charging you, that comes from your finance company who advises us what charges to charge or not charge. We have company policies and best pratices in place that we have to follow for everyone. No one was treating you any differently than any other customer. We have to wait for your finanace company to send us the release with the instructions on what to charge you. Once we have that, we can let you schedule online 24 hours in advance if there are openings. If no openings, then you have to pick another day as an option. This is the same for all customers as we need to unblock the vehicle so that when you show for your appointment, we can service you quickly and not have you waiting for a long period of time to get your vehicle unblocked and out to you.

I called this company on Friday which was say 58 of them holding my belongings at around 12pm which was 2 hours after my mother missed the appointment to collect my belongings because I am in *********** and was just in a car accident and couldnt go myself. One of their employees told me that I could not come that day because there were no more appointments but she would send an email to her supervisor to hold my belongings. And I confirmed multiple times that that is all she had to do and my items wouldnt be thrown away and she reassured me that she would see the email Monday morning and not throw my belongings away. Come Monday afternoon I get a text saying the appointment meant she scheduled for me was denied so I call and a man answers and tells me its past 60 days and it was thrown away. I tried explaining how I spoke with someone and if he could please check but he was dismissive and hung up in my face. I call this morning Tuesday December 14th and the woman tells my my belongings have been thrown away thousands of dollars worth of items and that it was mr ***** because I didnt call Monday at 8am as she claims she instructed me to do which she did not. What she instructed me to do was to call ***** Fargo and get a release items form so my mother could pick up my items which I did and I confirmed the email was sent by ***** Fargos 3rd party. But she claims I needed to call to confirm I wanted my items which thats what I did on Friday and was told my items would be held until Tuesday at the latest. So she lied about that and lied about telling me to call at 8am. So not only was my car sold my items were just thrown away. How vile of a company.

We are reviewing this complain but do not show the customer in our system under the name given. We are a repossession company and cannot give out any specific information regarcding any of our accounts, but will explain the process. We are required to remove all personal effects in a vehicle and store the items for ************************************************************************************************ cancel. This was on the 58th day of storage from what the customer advised. The customer is claiming she called in after the 60 days had passed and we had already disposed of the items. I have spoken with all my call takers and all have stated they do not recall any conversations like this. Without having a vin number for the vehicle or the correct name, I cannot look at an account to reference.
