    I completed the online request to have my personal information removed from their website but even though I have filled the form out correctly multiple times, I keep getting an error message "There was a problem with the opt-out form." Yeah, right. There's no problem. They just don't want to remove my information. This needs to be fixed!

    On December 30th, 2022, I have discovered using security software my personal information was being used by PublicRecordsNOW (***********************************). This company has made my personal information as well as information directly linked to me available for purchase as specifically(note item_id) accessible by two URL provided below:***********************************/order/name/item_id=***************************************-0K&fn=Ryan&mn=C&ln=***** ***********************************/order/name/?item_id=***************************************-1K&fn=*******=C&ln=***** Please note, PublicRecordNOW ask for the individuals username to have profile removed from the website, but this requires the consumer purchasing a profile in order to do so.Furthermore, PublicRecordsNOW entices users to opt out by 'confirming their email' and as well as provide phone numbers. This practice borderlines on the lines of digital extortion where consumers must decide between the 'lesser of two evils' and further creates increase risk for consumers in terms of heightened chance of identity theft as preliminary information needed by malignant actors are now simply 'shopped' for. PublicRecordsNOW - a company that collects personal data from other sites that sells your information has provided a way for consumers to have their personal data remove that only further increases the collection of your personal information. I am requesting to have my information removed from the site without having to provide my personal information to do so. Note - a more readable pdf has been included.

    I am in the process of opting out of various data collection agencies. Public Records Now, in conjunction with Private Eye, make this process VERY difficult. They build multiple profiles for an individual and share an opt-out function where after multiple attempts, they lock you out. But there are multiple profiles. I literally cannot opt my info out of these companies, and it feels like a violation, so I'm escalating. If you need more info please let me know, and I'll assist to the best of my ability. Thank you.
