I bought a 2017 ******* back in March 2024 from Integrity auto sales and paid the price in full , they shipped the vehicle to me and mailed the title as well , i tried to register it under my name but I couldn't because they should have been transfer the vehicle ownership when the bought it from the auction but they never done that and they just flipped the title to me when they sold it to me. I tried calling them for a year now and each time they promise me with a solution but they never solved it. I am not able to neither register my vehicle under my name nor driving it since I bought it.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from Integrity Auto sales (believe they are 2 different companies) ****************** is the service department side. so immediately after purchase the vehicle oil change light came on, which we took to a mechanic and had taken care of. While doing the oil change we asked for a full inspection he said the brakes are terrible and that it would need new brake pads and rotors very very soon. so being that we just purchased it and the report they gave us at time of purchase stated everything was in great condition we asked them to replace the brakes and rotors. they stated they would do this. They replaced brakes with after market brake pads after telling me they were the brand name brakes, and they resurfaced the rotors which when we took to a mechanic afterwards to show him the work he said it was not done properly and actually dangerous because the rotors were too thin already to be ground down again and that new ones should have been put on for accuracy. the noise and feeling did not change after their repair and the check brake pads notification came on the dash board 5 days after repair was done. asking them to fix this as they did not do it correctly the first time. They refused and said the dealership side has to handle. dealership side says they have to handle. and at this point I just need it handled as i paid a lot of money for this car due to the condition it was suppose to be in.Initial Complaint

On 8/17/24 we went to Integrity Auto to look at a 2012 Rav4EV. It was electric so we had many questions which the salesman answered. We were able to test drive the car, but not able to leave the lot due to the time of evening. We asked about the driving range, which was at 60, and the salesman told us it would get to about 300 miles on a full charge. When we decided to buy the car the banks were closed, so we gave a down payment in good faith, and agreed to return on 8/19/24 to complete the purchase. When we returned on 8/19 we paid the remainder of the purchase price. When they brought the car around to us the driving range was at 44. As we had already put a deposit on the car in good faith the car shouldn't have been driven 16 miles. The lot isn't that big so it had obviously been driven somewhere. Also, we had to clean garbage out of the backseat that wasn't there on 8/17. We found food wrappers, a protein shake bottle, random papers and a mans glove. On top of the car being used questionably after they took our deposit, the salesman lied to us about the driving range. When we contacted Integrity Auto to ask about the range they were less than helpful, and on further attempts we can't seem to reach the right person and no one will return our phone calls.Business Response

Hello ****! Thank you so much for letting us know about your concerns. If you have any questions about the the detail of the car, please let me know via email *********************************** We will make it right and reimburse a reasonable amount for the detail of the car. Sorry for the inconvenience, we always want to make sure that our coatomers are happy with the purchase they make with us!
And here is what i found out about 2012 ****** Rav 4 EV: According to the **** a single charge from this pack is good for an estimated 103 miles of driving, longer than any other EV except the Tesla Model S. The RAV4 EV needs about 6 hours for a full charge on the recommended 240-volt current.
There's another metric the *** uses to grade electric vehicles, and that's kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy consumed per 100 miles. The RAV4 checks in at 44 kWh per 100 miles driven (remember that the lower the number here, the better). Translated, that's 78 mpg city/74 mpg highway and 76 mpg combined in miles-per-gallon equivalent (MPGe). That's not great by EV standards, as other EVs like the ****** Leaf are more energy-efficient.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: This was not settled with the company. Here is our response.
To whom it may concern:
I recently filed complaints about the 2012 Rav4EV I purchased from you. I received an email response, however it had no contact name, only an email address. I have no idea who responded, or who I should respond to. My calls havent been returned, and the email has no contact info so I have no idea who to discuss this issue with.
The person who responded didnt give me a concrete answer as to how Integrity will make this situation right. I bought a car that isnt capable of traveling 100 miles when the salesman specifically stated it could go 300 miles on a charge. He lied. Or hes not a competent employee. I feel both are true, but the bottom line is he lied to us to make a sale. So much for integrity.
The salesman lied, and integrity didnt honor my good faith deposit, which is proven by the fact the car had been driven many miles and was filled with garbage. I dont need the car detailed as I am not the kind of person to drive around in a garbage filled car. You sold me a car under false pretenses and didnt honor our agreement. At the very least for the inconvenience and lies you should give me back the 2012 Highlander we used for trade in so I have a care that we can drive.
I need someone from integrity to contact me so we can reach an agreement. I have contacted a lawyer to discuss the issue, but hope not to go that direction. I look forward to hearing from someone soon to discuss the issue and find a solution.

I am rejecting this response because: This matter has not been resolved. We contacted the dealership by email as their response told us to do. They didn't respond. We have called numerous times and no one will answer the phone or return our calls. My husband went in person to talk to someone, but apparently the one person who could speak with him about the issue wasn't in, and hasn't responded to us. I have no new documentation because the company refuses to communicate with us.Business Response

I purchased a vehicle on 7/6/24. My air conditioner in the car went out within 24 hours of purchase. I asked multiple times for a copy of my contract. I was told my loan was through a Bank that didnt finance the vehicle. On 7/26/24 I was driving the vehicle and the engine blew up. Started over heating. I had vehicle towed to mechanic shop. I was told there were 6 engine codes on the vehicle, I was also informed that the codes were most likely reset/erased prior to the dealership resale of the vehicle. I reached out to my ************ to let the be aware of the situation and ask if I had any warranty, and they stated its listed in my contract that I have never seen. The contract was digitally signed, and it was not by me. They also listed that I would be willing to pay $52,000 approx. for a car priced at $22,000.Business Response

I went over the contract, *************************** did buy a Dodge Durango for $21,899 as well as the service contract. Please call us at ************ and we will take care of the issue, if we would have to involve the warranty company we will, but if we can just help you out, that wouldn't be an issue!Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I am aware that my $6000 dollar down payment was not a requirement for the loan. I am away that Integrity Auto took my down payment and distributed the funds to other unnecessary Charges such as $2000 for Warranty, $2000 for a tracking device, and $2000 for taxes and fees. Therefore not a single dollar of my down payment went towards the principal of the price of the car. The dealership stated the price of the car was $21,899 but the contract States the price was raised to $22,968.22 they also failed presented a different contract to me stating after all the payments, interest, and with the down payment I would be paying Approximately $30,000. A Contract was submitted with a forged, typed signature stating that there is a $24,693.55 finance charge. As well as $22,968.22 bringing the total to $47,661.84 and with them also charging interest on my $6000 down payment that was never implemented towards the car. So they falsely claimed that at the end of my loan that is unnecessary stretched of 6 years, I would be paying $53,661.84. I did electronically sign documents. However the contract is just a typed Signature that I never complied to. The carfax was also altered, I was told that there was 3 owners, and I would allegedly be the 4th. I paid for my own car fax. It stated that there have already be 7 owners within the last 8 years. I would like to get my $6000 down payment back. I had issues with the vehicles AC just less that 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle and now the engine is completely out. I have also reached out to CBAR as the mechanic that diagnosed the issue stated he thinks the check engine light was reset prior to the vehicle being sold.Business Response

Hello this is inaccurate
please refer to your retail installment con tract in which you see an itemized breakdown of your entire charges posted, when you ,mentioned that not a single dollar was posted to the principal of the vehicle that is also false (verified with the retail installment contract) Down payments are based on the counter approval from the lender to minimize risk. any added products are financed with the vehicle. also it is required by the state and law to charge every customer for taxes we are not a private seller for california in state purchases (this is also based of zip code and tax rate) as for the entire cost of the vehicle we believe you are referring to cost of financing (interest rate at term) with the principal balance this is all based on credit and disclosed to you while signing.

I am rejecting this response because: the information comments returned are not accurate. My lender American credit Acceptance not *********** like the dealer stated was the lender, expressed and explained to me that they didnt nor do they ever ask for a down payment. They also advised me to ask for the $2,000 back for the Warranty, however I cant do that because the car was sold to me with a reset check engine light stating that the engine has numerous problems, and I am now responsible for your inconsiderate, unprofessional, lack of INTEGRITY! decision. I was also advised by the lender to retrieve my $2000 tracking that is also not required. So as I stated before with help from my lender $6000 didnt go towards the principal of the car. If that was true the price of the car would have went down to Approximately $18,000 not increase to $22,000. The finance charge of $24,000 was never mentioned because had it been I would have respecfully walked off the lot!.Initial Complaint

On 4/12/2024 - I purchased a 2014 *** X5 SUV from Integrity Auto Sales on ***********. At that time, I notified the dealership that I only received Social Security as my only source of income and was told that that's not enough to get financing. I was not approved. So the agent that I was dealing with at the dealership assisted me with adding income of a job which I did not have. This was added to my application to get me approved for financing. I just wanted the vehicle, so I paid 4500 down on a vehicle that I felt was worth it at that time. The vehicle came with a 30- day dealership warranty so I was told, and within one week, (4/22/24) I noticed the vehicle was leaking fluid and my check engine/coolant light came on. I stopped and had someone to add coolant and noticed the coolant was leaking out. I thought maybe it was due to me running the air conditioning because sometimes cars do that when you have the air conditioning on but that was not the fact so I immediately notified the dealership and they instructed me to bring the vehicle in to be diagnosed. i am a 69 year old senior citizen on a fixed income. i do not know everything about cars, so i feel like i was wrongfully targeted. I brought the vehicle in on 4/23/24) and was given an appointment for 5/20/24, I did let them know that the date exceeded the 30 day warranty and was assured that this was not an issue because I reported the vehicle malfunction within the 30 days. I arrive today (5/21/24) and was told I needed to pay 1000 dollars for in house repair additional to my remaining balance from the financing bank of ******, due to being outside of the 30 day warranty date. This was a pre-existing condition of the vehicle. I am on a fixed income, the dealership was fully aware of this and I feel as though I have been taken advantage of. I do not want to be responsible for the additional repairs to get the vehicle up and running plus pay monthly car payments on a vehicle I can no longer drive.Initial Complaint
