I bought a ***** Odyssey from Kareem Auto Sales for $16980 on June 8th 2022. I paid for it and drove it home. A few hours later they called and were insistent that I return the vehicle that day because they didn't have the title documentation and were adamant that there was no way they would be able to obtain it. Kareem said they would have to ship the Odyssey back to the ****** auction house that they bought it from. So I had to return the car bringing a spare car/driver to get me back home (one and a half hour round trip). Rather than apologetic, the manager seemed irritated. The following week I week I received two phone calls demanding that I return my purchase contract. Two weeks later the car was back on their website listed for $5,000 more than I paid for it. I believe they lied about not having the title document because they felt they had sold the car too cheap and wanted top get more money from another buyer.

    To whom it may concern,

Your speculation is incorrect. We price our vehicles based on current market conditions and those prices are updated weekly. We often lower and raise individual prices based on supply and demand. As matter of fact, like all dealer's we often sell vehicle's below our cost, that's part of being in business.

I am rejecting this response because:

I have a signed purchase agreement to purchase this vehicle for $16930. Kareem Auto Sales obviously consider this contract to be binding for me, but not for them. Why were they adamant that they didn't possess the Title for this vehicle and that there was no way they were going to be able to get it? I was pressurized to return the car that same day and subsequently they tried to bully me into giving them my copy of the purchase agreement.

If by some miracle Kareem Auto Sales did suddenly find the 'missing title', why did they not contact me and say I could come back and repurchase the vehicle? No, they relisted at a price that is 30% higher than my contract. Dealers do not adjust prices up by 30% overnight.

Prices can in fact change dramatically overnight based on market supply and demand. Nonetheless, this vehicle was not advertised and available to purchase for a few weeks.

I am rejecting this response because:

It is not okay to recall a vehicle that was bought in good faith, ignore the purchase contract and then list it for 30% more. I bought that vehicle and have a purchase contract. I was bullied into returning it based on the lie that they didn't have the title document. Used car prices did not increase by 30% in two weeks.

All supporting documents have already been sent previously.
