Radius Energy claimed that the solar panel system would break even in cost in 9 years, by claiming that PG&E NEM2 solar billing plan was in charge, instead of the actual NEM3 solar that had been in force since April 15, 2023, which they specified on the contract without any mention to us. Due to NEM3, Instead of saving on energy, we are now paying double for the energy, with NO break-even number of years, where the solar system was supposed to give us a $zero bill each month. This will cost us 10's of thousands of ADDITIONAL dollars over the life of the loan.Other lies, misrepresentations, outright fraud with Bait and Switch, and deceits are outlined in my complaint.Outcome should be removal of the solar system, refund of $30,551.10, and never stepping foot on my property again. We were duped by Radius Energy of ******, **********.

I purchased solar panels from Radius Energy salesman ************************* and they were installed in March of 2023. The inverter was not producing electricity for 6 month despite several visits by Radius Energy installers to correct the problem. Then finally in September Radius Energy realized it was a bad inverter and a new inverter was installed in September of 2023. During that 6 month period the inverter was not producing any energy and returning it to the grid. So, I contacted my salesman ************************* and let him know my True Up Charges were escalating every month. He assured me Radius Energy would get this taken care of. The electric *** just sent me my True Up bill and and it is $1,801.42. I sent this info to ************************* and he informed me that Radius Energy refuses to do anything to make this right. I should have had a working solar inverter from day one in March producing power back onto the grid. Instead through no fault of my own it took Radius Energy 6 month to determine I had a faulty inverter and to replace it. Resulting in an $1,801.42 True Up bill with the electric ***. I am not responsible for Radius Energy's error and I refuse to pay that True Up bill. Radius Energy's salesmans sales pitch was that the panels would produce power that would be sold back to the electric *** and I would get a True Up credit after a year. Radius Energy is refusing to stand behind it's product/installation/services and do what is right. Someone needs to take responsibility.
