The events described below occurred on Saturday 04/27/24 at **********. My friends and I purchased tickets for a padres game. Upon entry, we were stopped by ******** from elite security to inform us that a bag we had brought did not meet their policy and that we could check it into a locker for an additional fee. We asked if there could be an exception made as it was a fairly small bag that contained nothing of harm. She proceeded to tell us we would need to check the bag into the locker. When we left the gate, she followed us around the park informing other elite members to not let us into to the park due to the bag which at this point we no longer had in our procession. ******** claimed we had the bag tied around ourselves or tucked away somewhere. After much time wasted we finally got into the stadium at the bottom of the 5th inning. Once we made it to our seats we saw multiple people with bags exceeding the bag policy. After the game, we spoke with **** who was a supervisor of some sort for elite who later called ********************* the Senior Manager of Event Security. We informed them of our experience at the game that day and also showed them photos of people with bags exceeding their policy. When asked why we were singled out and harassed, they had no answer and stated, these bags shouldnt have been allowed in. ****** then proceeded to say that she would get a statement from the employee and follow up with me Monday at 4:15pm (over 24 hours since the incident). The only issue here was ****** never bothered to get my number however I did get hers. When I called her on Monday at 4pm I received her voicemail which I left requesting a call back. ****** did not get in contact with me until almost 9pm that night to inform me that there was nothing she could do and that if we visit the ballpark again to be sure to abide by the bag policy. My main points here are, the bag in question never made it into the ball park and the leader admitted they lacked training
