1 starI agree the APR is nice. But they hold every deposit to the absolute maximum time for their convenience and interest. I get earnings from float, but undo inconvenience customers; worth it? Somebody file compliant with CA AG (theyr based in SD). It seems unethical to hold people money for that **** ******* for their own profit motors. Every single electronic depositthey held for ~ 2x long as any other bank. This is not safety or other B-S explanations. This is their strategy. Its a profit motive. Its part of how they advertise and pay 4.86% because they hold money for a full week for electronic deposits whereas e.g. Zelle or Venmo states longer but then they actually deposit within ~ 24 hoursReview fromBrian M

1 starliterally the worst bank you can pick. they put barriers between me and my business earnings such as constant account lockouts (beyond password reset you had to call in and the x... y... z...) wasted countless hours going back and fourth only to be hosed over and over by broken apps agent's who can only do one thing and supervisors that never martialize and will be happy to call you back in 3 days when you are unreachable.Review fromDaryl M

Think long and hard before doing business with this bank. My husband died and had an account here. I submitted all the paperwork and documents necessary to close the account, as the named executor of his estate. They cannot locate the original documents, that I sent certified mail. These originals contain the necessary seals they require for approval to disburse funds to me. When they received the documents, they scanned the package into their system without regard to filing appropriately the original papers. The scans do not show the raised seals which is why I sent originals in the first place. There is one number to call, you cannot contact anyone on their direct line and have to go through automation before you speak to a live person. They have created several case numbers in an attempt to progress forward. Needless to say, every time I call, I speak to someone new, go through the history and get the same response. A complete runaround, not knowing what, what, where or why, then they promise to call me back. Another week goes by and I am calling again. I feel like they are using excuses to highjack money thats does belong to them.. Not a way to run a business let alone a federal insurances institution. Do your research!Axos Bank

Do not open an account with this bank if you live paycheck to paycheck. They will place the maximum hold on your paycheck they can for no reason other than they can, and when you contact them about getting it lifted, they'll tell you that they can't do it because they're an entirely online bank!I've been eating rice for a week and a half because I deposited my check and they put a 7 day hold on it. Was told it would be available today. Not available. S**** these guys.Axos Bank

I am selecting a 1 star reviewing bc that is the lowest you can select. I would give a minus rating but that is not an option. The most horrific customer service of nonsense. They confirmed I was getting their promotional savings account rate and come to find out that does not happen 1st month, tried to get a confirmation for the next month and failed again. I tried to get their confirmation in writing, they seem to outsource their customer service **** out of the states and they don't understand what your are asking and just copy and paste responses when you message. Nobody know what they are doing and I will be taking my money somewhere else. Serious waste of time and money.Axos Bank

Most unprofessional bank I have ever worked with. Bankers ensure xyz will not occur and the next day xyz is initiated. No manager staff is available to speak with you or resolve live problem, take 48hr or more to hear back from staff.Hidden criteria is in place for promotions, these elements are not disclosed when setting up account with live *** from ********** yourself a favor and bank with a ***utable company that has integrity.Axos Bank

Shouldve done research before refinancing my vehicle with this company. Their app is terrible to make payments or even to check on my loan. They offer no help for financial hardship. Their customer service is outsourced so when I was speaking to a representative they did not comprehend me at all. I wish I could go back in time & stay with *********** for my car loan. I would have been paying more but it would have been worth it to not deal with ****.Axos Bank
