This business lacks any sort of communication. I was with them for a year and had 6 settlements started, but some of them they were making $1 or $10 to and that was not helpful. I was still being called by my creditors everyday, not one of the companies had heard of or from Beyond Finance. My credit is tanked!! I had to cancel due to really bad financial reasons and they werent supposed to take any fees until settlements were completed. I had money left in my dedicated account and when I called to ask about a refund because I REALLY could use it, they said they took it all for fees for settling accounts. I was never told about any fees that could be taken unless they fully completed the settlement.Business Response

******************,
Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.
We confirmed your enrollment into the program on January 27, 2023. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about creditor calls, credit impact and program fees can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraphs 13. "Disclaimer" and 11. (a) "Program Fees" respectively. They read, in part, as follows:
13. ******************************** will work with the Clients creditors in an effort to reduce Creditor calls; however, the Company does not have the authority to prevent original creditors from calling."
It is not uncommon for creditors to continue to make efforts to contact you and deny Beyond Finance has reached out. This can be a scare tactic utilized by creditors.
"The use of Companys debt resolution services will likely adversely affect Clients creditworthiness and may increase the outstanding balances of Clients enrolled accounts due to the accrual of fees and interest."11. (a) Program Fees
"Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."
At the time of your requested termination you were in active arrangements. Beyond Finance had met all established criteria to earn the fee as it related to those arrangements.
We are pleased that we were able to offer you six arrangements. We were able to accomplish such rapid progress by structuring your arrangements in a fashion that allowed us to engage with several creditors at once with the funds available in your dedicated account.
We are hopeful we were able to provide clarity to your concerns. Should you have additional questions please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,

Oct. 2023 a consolidation was agreed to as for a settlement on 9 accounts. The company give me (*****************) 3 offer one for the company Mercury in the month of Dec.2023. I accept the offer that Beyond Finance suggested. In the Month of Dec.2023 they offer two more settlements One for a *********** with an account number that was not my account so I did not agree to paying account that would not help my debt and not in my name,I did not turn in this account to them to have them settle because it's not for I ***************** to pay. The last offer I received was for an $18.00 ATT bill, I was explain to that this company does not take or pay a bill less than ****** or ****** dollars. This company is not focus on my debt being resolve just other people accounts. The less than $20.00 accounts I will not accept the offer to pay. I suggest the company pay the account that was givin to them to pay not the other account that I ***************** don't owe. ************,
Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced.
Review of your program confirmed that the agreement with your Mercury account is active. Two payments have been successfully made towards this offer. Due to the timing of the application of the new arrangements and when you received the letter, it is likely that information was still being updated with your creditor. Proof of payments being completed can be located on your portal.
Additionally, rest assured that all settlement efforts are made on actively enrolled accounts. On occasion, when a new entity is servicing your account they assign an account number for their records. This can be confusing as it differs from the account number you are accustomed to seeing. We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns and look forward to the opportunity to present you with your next offer. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

This was a debt consolidation program that was 100% improperly explained. It was never communicated that I essentially had to have 50% of the enrolled debt in payments to them people to negotiating. If that were the case ant educated indivisible never would have signed up. They are now telling me it will take a year and a half to negotiate with two creditors based on my escrow amount. Obviously in the meantime I will be sued and/or need to file bankruptcy as I am committed contractually to this company. I have requested copies of all correspondences that I agreed to have recorded and they will not oblige without a court order. They did settle two debts, asked for my approval based on the monthly payback, however NEVER disclosed the fees they negotiated. Which essentially compounded to them not actually saving me a dime. This is predatory and criminal. I could have definitely done my own creditor negotiations and saved my financial future if I didnt fall prey to their shady promises.Business Response

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on August 24, 2023. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about program fees can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a), "Program Fees". It reads, in part, as follows:
"The Client agrees to pay the Company a fee in the amount of *****% percent of the balance of each debt enrolled into the program"
Review confirmed that both of your settlements have been structured within the established expectations. Additionally, we confirmed that you will benefit from savings on both settlements. We would be happy to have an agent reach out to provide a detailed breakdown at your request.
Accumulation of funds is also covered in your Enrollment Agreement in the same section in paragraph 8 "Timing and Program Estimates". It reads, in part, as follows:
"While guidelines differ widely among Creditors, in our experience an accumulation of 25%-50% of the then-current balance of a Debt and approximately 4-6 months from the last payment will normally enable us to make a good-faith offer to resolve your first and subsequent Debts."
Rest assured that we will work diligently to acquire favorable settlement offers for you as promptly as possible.
We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns. We have scheduled to have an agent reach out to ensure you have no additional questions.

Beyond finance has charged monthly fees that were hidden to me while paying down debt. I enrolled in their program to help get out of debt only to be charged additional fees of $10.75 and $14.95 a month. They did not reveal them during the enrollment process. These fees should be refunded to my account.Business Response

This company is a complete scam I started using this company to try and get out of debt but I am now so far in debt that I can barely pay my mortgage. I was $18,000 in debt and they cut the debt in half but then they charged me all of the debt amount that they saved me back in their fees. Please do not use this company unless you want them to steal all of your hard-earned money. I gave them over $9,000 just in cash and they took most of it for fees and barely took any of it to pay off my debt. I don't know how this company can live with themselves taking everyone's money I've read the reviews from Better Business Bureau that people have left this company is trash.Business Response

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 18, 2023. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about settlement timing can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraphs 8 "Timing and Program Estimates. It reads, in part, as follows:
"We begin contacting your Creditors as soon as we determine that a good faith effort to resolve a given debt, whether on a lump-sum or installment basis, may be made, with such determinations dependent upon such factors as the Creditors settlement policies, the rate of account accretion, the size of each Debt and how close a Debt may be to charge-off. Some Creditors prefer that they not be contacted until you have accumulated sufficient funds in your Dedicated Account to allow a resolution within their historic norms. While guidelines differ widely among Creditors, in our experience an accumulation of 25%-50% of the then-current balance of a Debt and approximately 4-6 months from the last payment will normally enable us to make a good-faith offer to resolve your first and subsequent Debts."
Beyond Finance was still within the established expectations as to when you would be presented with your first offer.
Additionally, while the possibility of a loan may have been discussed during your enrollment interactions, you opted to move forward with this program. The Enrollment Agreement clearly sets expectations and confirms this is not a loan. We regret if there was any misunderstanding.
We can confirm that per your request your program has been terminated and a refund of all available funds in your dedicated account was issued. Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Beyond Finance, LLCCustomer Answer

This company claims to help you with your debt, but then tricks you into paying them 50% of your monthly dues. DO NOT TRUST THEM!! Do not go to the company as a last resolve, go elsewhere, theres plenty of other people who have been f*cked by them, as you can see from the reviews. This business is a scam!! Less than 50% of my monthly payments has been going to pay off my debt and the rest has been going to THEM. Turn away! Beware of this company! Its also worked by children, every time you call, you feel like youre talking to a 12 year old. Youll be sorry if you work with them, theyve f*cked me and my credit score even though *** paid the agreed upon amount every month without missing a payment. I signed up for a debt settlement program in August 2023 and started making monthly payments towards the program. The website I went to and contacted was ********************** but when I signed up the company was Beyond Finance. There were five accounts in the program. They settled one debt that was $25111 for $12055 and charged a $3600 "settlement fee" to do it. Meanwhile they stated they had informed and were working on settling with other creditors. They told me not to contact any of the other creditors, but the creditors were upset and reaching out to me. When I contacted one of the creditors that were still contacting me they hadn't heard of Beyond Finance and I was able immediately to settle the account for myself. Because they had misled me and were not actually contacting these creditors, I cancelled the program. There was still $1400 in my escrow account which I expected to receive as a refund, but they stated that they were charging it as an additional settlement fee and would not refund it. I had been advised that they don't take a settlement fee until they "were done" but that's not what they did when I cancelled. Overall I paid a total of $5075.80 and only $50 went to creditors.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration you have experienced.
We confirmed your enrollment into the program on August 8, 2023. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about program fees can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a), "Program Fees". It reads, in part, as follows:
" Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii)the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor"
Beyond Finance met all established criteria prior to earning any installment of the fee related to the authorized settlement. At the time of your requested termination, after the remaining balance of the fee earned was cared for, there were no remaining funds in your dedicated account to issue as a refund.
Additionally, Beyond Finance strategically reaches out to creditors at specific times based on our past history of success. Some factors that we take into account are length of delinquency and available funds in your dedicated account. This does not mean we are not working to resolve your enrolled accounts, but are doing so in a fashion to ensure we secure the most favorable settlement terms for you.
We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concern. Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

I joined Beyond Finance ( debt consolidation) since November, 2019 to November, 2023. The program lasted 48 months. I had paid $210.45 a month, plus one money order $500. Total amount almost $11,000 paid. Beyond Finance settled two creditors almost $2,000. What happen to my other $9000? Beyond Finance said after 48 months, I wouldnt have any more debt and I would done with the program. Now Beyond Finance said I still have debt settlement to pay after 48 months program. This is a lie and a scam. Beyond Finance never fix my credit report either.Business Response

********,
Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced.
We confirmed your enrollment into the program on November 26,2019. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. Information about credit impact can be located under the section titled "Program Snapshot". It reads, in part, as follows:
"We do not guarantee that your debts will be resolved for a specific amount or percentage or within a specific period of time."
The program length provided at the time of enrollment is clearly established as an estimated timeframe. This estimate is dependent upon multiple factors, including consistent, on-time payments into your program.
Additionally, review of your account ledger confirmed you have deposited roughly $10,672 into your dedicated account. Of that, $4,982.99 was paid toward your accounts in settlement. Upon your requested termination you were refunded the remaining balance, after program fees, of $1,887.82.
Records indicate that you had the opportunity to address these matters with an account manager. They explained the estimated program length as well as provided a breakdown of your program progress. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
