      Ms. ******,

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve your concerns.

A thorough review of your program was conducted as a result of the issues you addressed in your communication.

At the time of your requested termination you had approved an offer on one of your enrolled accounts.  This offer was in progress.  Beyond met all established criteria to earn and collected the program fee related to this resolution.  This information was provided to you both verbally and in writing at the time of your enrollment. It can be located in your enrollment agreement in paragraph 11. (a) Program Fee.  It reads, in part, as follows:

"Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution offer on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."

Upon your requested termination, after earned fees were collected, you were refunded the remaining balance in your dedicated account.

Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

Before and after I had sign up with this company.we had talk about which credit cards I should start with and which one were to be put off later. I was very concerned about one that had a two year free interest loan and that the two year was about to expire.also I explained that I didnt know how to use my phone as a computer very good and that I had a hearing impairment . I had to keep calling them to make sure I had understood what they had told me and to make sure they were going to talk care of the situation of the two free interest rate with the loan. As of today they havent contacted the creditors and keep telling me lies. One lie they said that they were waiting to get the funds to go forward with it. So I had agreed to pay more to be put into my account so they could pay this to the credit card company so back in February I put $700 into my account with ********************** and now its gone and they are still telling me that they are still waiting for the funds to accumulate in my account before they can proceed. Also with another account they have done with *****************,they had contacted me about a offer.but beyond had told me not to speak with them or any other company that they would handle all accounts I seen the offer Navy ************ had given me I believe that this offer was made even before beyond new About it I tried to check this out but the bank said that they can only go back so fare and wouldnt be able to see what date they emailed me. Beyond records all of they telephone calls so you will see the conversation we had

      Mr. Balous,

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve your concerns.

A thorough review of your program was conducted as a result of the issues you addressed in your communication.

As of this time you have approved offers on three of your enrolled accounts.  Of which, two are completed and one is in progress.  You approved your first offer less than one month into your enrollment, exceeding expectations.

This program is designed to care for all of your enrolled debt throughout the lifetime of your elected forty eight month enrollment.  As you have seen success in the program, your funds have accumulated and been utilized to care for existing arrangements.

Currently, we reflect that you are in an active arrangement on your Navy ******************** account approved by you on January 11, 2025.

We are hopeful that we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns, should you have any remaining questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

I was enrolled with Beyond Finance for debt relief. My purpose of this complaint is to bring light to the purposely vague and shady business practices that lead to me being sued by a creditor and losing thousands of dollars already paid to creditors before removing myself voluntarily from their program. Their sales team made the program seem it was government backed, assured me my payment would stay consistent throughout the program, and that I was covered by their team legally when dealing with the creditors. I was sued as a result, completely trusting this program would protect me, and was forced into bankruptcy as the creditor settlement payment increased 245%. I wish to bring light to this dishonest company's dealings and bring action against them for knowingly and willingly disenfranchising, misleading and lying to their customers. Had I known the extent of what I would endure in their program, I never would have become a customer and trusted them to help in what I thought was a protected legal debt resettlement that was government backed. It actually floors me that their business model is legal; It's outright a lie.

      Mr. ******,

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve your concerns.

A thorough review of your program was conducted as a result of the issues you addressed in your communication.

At the time of your requested termination you had approved an offer on one of your enrolled accounts and been presented with offers on two of your other enrolled accounts which you elected not to move forward with.

Review confirmed that at the time of your enrollment you were properly educated about the possibility of creditors moving forward with legal action.  This does not prevent Beyond Finance from moving forward with negotiations.  We had secured an offer on one of your accounts in a legal status and presented you with an offer on the account that recently moved into a legal status.  At no point was our program presented as government backed.

Throughout your program you were presented with conditional offers, which required additional funds, but were at no time obligated to move forward with those offers.

Your program was serviced within all established expectations.

Should you have any remaining questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

      Sincerely,

I am writing to formally file a complaint against Beyond Finance for their handling of my account, which has led to unnecessary and unsubstantiated claims regarding renegotiation despite the fact that my account was already settled in full.I have been a client of Beyond Finance and, upon reviewing my account, I have fully satisfied all obligations, with the only remaining balance being the settlement fees for their services. This information was clearly outlined in the online correspondence between myself and Beyond Finance, and I have provided screenshots of these exchanges, which explicitly show that the settlement process had been completed with only the service fees pending.Despite this, Beyond Finance is now asserting that the account requires renegotiation, a claim that appears to be entirely unfounded. Furthermore, they have informed me that they cannot locate the relevant conversation that is clearly visible in my online account, where I have documented my communication regarding the completed settlement. It is deeply troubling that Beyond Finance is either unable or unwilling to acknowledge the evidence that is readily available within my account. This lack of recognition of completed transactions, coupled with the unjustified claim that I need to renegotiate terms, is not only frustrating but also unprofessional. It has caused unnecessary stress and confusion, and I am seeking a resolution where Beyond Finance acknowledges the accurate state of my account and ceases any further attempts to renegotiate a matter that has already been resolved.I respectfully request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter to ensure that Beyond Finance adheres to proper business practices and resolves this issue promptly and accurately.

After 24 years of dedicated military service, I entrusted Beyond Finance with my financial well-being during a vulnerable transition to civilian life. Their debt consolidation program proved a catastrophic mistake, feeling more like a predatory money grab than genuine assistance. Instructed to halt all creditor payments, a tactic they claimed necessary for negotiation, I faced a year of complete inaction and minimal communication, resulting in the severe damage of my previously impeccable credit.Beyond Finance failed to disclose the significant tax implications of their program, specifically the 1099-C form and subsequent tax liabilities on forgiven debt, a critical omission for transitioning veterans unfamiliar with such complexities. They offered no meaningful financial education, no guidance on budgeting, or responsible credit management. Their focus was solely on extracting fees, not on the long-term financial stability of their clients. This lack of transparency and disregard for financial literacy feels like a calculated betrayal of trust, particularly towards veterans who have selflessly served their country. Their practices exploit the vulnerabilities of those transitioning from military service, leaving them ill-equipped to navigate civilian financial landscapes.I urge the Better Business Bureau to conduct a thorough investigation into Beyond Finances deceptive tactics, to issue a public warning to protect other veterans, and to hold them accountable for their exploitation. This is not just a consumer complaint; its a moral imperative to safeguard those who have served our nation from predatory practices that prioritize profit over service and leave them with unexpected financial burdens.

Review of your enrollment interaction confirmed that you were properly and transparently educated about all program fees, credit impact and the possibility of related tax implications.  This information was provided to you both verbally and in writing.  Additionally, you were also provided with educational material at the time of your enrollment.

I enrolled in the Debt Relief program in September 2024. I have been paying into the dedicated account of which I was told was mine to use as needed. After making one payment on one resolution offer and two payments on one resolution offer, I noticed that my dedicated account went from $3151.82 to $606.07. I called and was told that they deducted the 25% debt resolution fee that I agreed to. I DID NOT agree to paying 25% when NONE of my debts have been resolved. You dont pay for service before the service is rendered. No one in their right mind would agree to paying for service ahead of time. I called to speak to a Senior account person who tried to convince me to go from paying $596.07 bi-weekly to $25 biweekly-HOW IS THAT GOING TO HELP RESOLVE ANYTHING! Not to mention, once I said I would consult my attorney and hung up, she immediately called back and tried to pressure me into saying I wanted to cancel the program. These people prey on people in difficult financial situations, steal their money then hope they will be so mad that they will cancel the program and not take any action. I am most methodical and logical when someone is trying to take advantage of me. I know a scam when I see one.

Thank you for the opportunity to resolve your concerns.

A thorough review of your program was completed as a result of the issues you addressed in your communication.

At the time of review we confirmed you have approved offers on two accounts, both of which are active and ongoing.  You approved your first offer four months into your program, in alignment with all established expectations.

Review of your enrollment interaction confirmed that you were properly and transparently informed about the program fee both verbally and in writing.  You can reference this information in your enrollment agreement under paragraph 11. (a).

Beyond Finance met all established expectations prior to earning and collecting any portion of the fee.

I signed up with Beyond Finance Credit Card debt consolidation. After a year I received a letter from attorneys representing Creditor American Heritage Credit Card. Beyond Finance had never called them to let them know I was enrolled in their program to reduce my debt. I called the attorneys and informed them I was enrolled with Beyond Finance. Beyond Finance tried to negotiate a deal but they want ***** paid or they won't negotiate. I don't have $***** in the bank to give them. I don't know where else to turn. The correct address for Beyond Finance is PO box ************************** my account number with them is *********.

I paid off my account with ******************** January 30th 2025 I called in. They gave me an amount for the payoff including their fees. I paid-it off that day I was told if I sent it in that day they would receive it before the next statement and it would be paid in full. I was going through my account today, February 2 and I noticed that they took out $463. They told me I didnt call them back in five days so they charged me excessive fees, even though they had the money to pay off the account and I was told it would be paid off. They didnt charge my payment in February and then they took $463 out of my account in March when I paid it off full the end of January.

PREDATORY LENDING!!!I signed up with them in 2022, hoping to consolidate debt I incurred because I was going through cancer treatments and ran up credit cards waiting for my Veteran Disability to be approved. I had over 40k in debt, and was told I would be enrolled in a program that provided a 5.45% interest rate based on my debt and health situation. During that time until now, I paid almost 30K to have this debt reduced, including a few large lump sums in excess of 15k, yet they continually take out funds because they say I haven't "graduated" yet, whatever the h*** that means. I contacted them multiple times and have copies of the transcripts where I was assured no more funds would be withdrawn, yet they continue to do so. They also decided that even though all the remaining debt was settled that the remaining almost $850 in the dedicated account would be considered a "settlement fee" rather than be refunded to me, even though they said in writing that everything was settled and no more funds were owed or to be withdrawn. Oh, and the 5.45% rate? It's closer to 24-25% by the time they take their cut of the "reduction negotiation".Whenever you try and get assistance, you will speak with a different person online each time, and then they will tell you they cannot help you and to call their toll-free number. I told them numerous times that I have health issues that prevent me from speaking on the phone, and they said "oh well, we can't help you then". I am suffering from lung cancer which affects my ability to speak on the phone.I am a disabled Veteran on a fixed and limited income, and I cannot afford this continual runaround while they continue to withdraw funds they assured me they wouldn't.Bottom line is they are no better than a collection agency that has purchased your debt and wants their 25% cut of the original debt. You are better off either going somewhere else, or negotiate with the creditors yourself.
