      Took monthly payments since July and of the $9000 paid in only $2000 went to a creditor. The remaining $7000 went to them for absolutely no help on my behalf. They seem to be scam artists. Werent upfront about how they work.

      We confirmed your enrollment into the program on July 15, 2023.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about program fees can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) "Program Fees".  It reads, in part, as follows:


      "The Client agrees to pay the Company a fee in the amount of *****% percent of the balance of each debt enrolled into the program"


      " Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii)the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor"


      Beyond Finance met all established criteria prior to taking any fee installment.  Your fee installment schedule was escalated upon your request for termination.  Beyond Finance was happy to have offered you a settlement on your largest enrolled account, and we are sorry to have lost you as a customer.  However, we understand this program is not the best fit for each financial circumstance.

      I enrolled in their debt consolidation program almost a year ago. When I enrolled I was informed the premium I have to pay each month and that it would not change. The specialist also told me that they would handle my debts and begin getting me settlements within 3-6 months. Almost a year later I have been sued three times and whenever I contact their legal department I only am told to send the court summons. I never have received any type of assistance with my legal issues other than being told to send the summons. This program has ruined my credit and I know that the legal marks will be held against me in the future.

      We confirmed your enrollment into the program on October 1, 2022.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Retainer Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about impact to enrolled accounts can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 13. "Disclaimer".  It reads, in part, as follows:



      "The use of Companys debt resolution services will likely adversely affect Clients creditworthiness and may increase the outstanding balances of Clients enrolled accounts due to the accrual of fees and interest..."


      "...Clients enrolling in the Program may be subject to collections or sued by their creditors or debt collectors for nonpayment and Client must take this into consideration when determining whether or not to enroll in the Program."


      Additionally, information about legal advice can be located under the same section in paragraph 10. "No Legal or Tax Advice".  It reads, in part, as follows:


      "The Client acknowledges that the Company is not a law firm, and that no legal or tax advice can or will be provided under this agreement."


      Our negotiators make every effort to work with your creditors to reach beneficial settlement offers, even when they have initiated legal options.  We have scheduled to have any agent reach out to you to discuss any additional concerns you have regarding this matter.

      I understand the point that the business has made. But Beyond Finance has not negotiated with several creditors enrolled in their program. These are the creditors that have sued me. In addition, there have been three or four requests to raise my monthly contribution and/or deposit additional funds in my account. The representative that enrolled me into the program informed me that Beyond Finance would never ask for more money.

      I enrolled with Beyond Finance in December of 2022. This is not my first experience with a debt resolution company, so I am familiar with the steps necessary. I was told upon signing up that after 3-6 months of on time payments I would be eligible for a resolution loan (from Beyond) to pay off my debts and then my payments would go toward the loan from Beyond. It is now over 10 months later and I have yet to receive this offer. I have asked multiple times and one excuse was that my timer was "reset" because I removed one of the accounts (I was able to settle the debt with the company directly, no thanks to Beyond). I was never informed that removing them from my enrolled debt with Beyond would affect anything negatively. I keep getting told "should be in a month or so someone will reach out."Beyond reached settlements with two companies which I approved, so I figured those were all set. To my surprise, I logged on to check my account and saw that both accounts are no longer in settlements. When I called in to inquire what happened, I was told that I "missed my settlement payments" so the settlements were cancelled. I have NEVER missed a payment to Beyond as they are on automatic withdrawals every two weeks. The explanation that I was given was that because there were not enough funds in my dedicated account, they just didn't submit payments and the settlements were cancelled. AT NO TIME was I contacted to inform me of the situation, that this would even be something that could happen, that the account settlements were in jeopardy of being cancelled, that they were actually cancelled, ANYTHING. I was told they will "re-negotiate" with these two creditors but there is no guarantee of settlement again or what that settlement may be.I have paid over $3,100 over the past 11 months and now I am back to square zero in terms of progress made on accounts. I feel angry, disappointed, embarrassed, frustrated, taken advantage of, misled, and hopeless.

      Review of your enrollment interactions confirmed that you were advised that you may become eligible for review of the loan option around 3-6 months into the program.  This does not guarantee that you will be offered the loan options.  We apologize for any confusion regarding this matter.  As you continue in you program, you will be continually reviewed for eligibility.


      Regarding the settlements, it was determined that upon removal of some account, you requested to have your payment reduced.  As your existing settlements had been established based off of your enrolled payment amount,  the reduction caused there to be insufficient funds.  We have scheduled to have an agent reach out to you to discuss this matter in more detail.

      I I hired them to help with debt and they took payments from my account 2 weeks before it was due caused 3 checks to bounce that was in September been calling every day and told me that they would only refund me ****** and direct deposit should be back in my account 24/48 hours no money called again lied to me and said they would send it to deposit once again no money called again now they are going to send check by ***** should be to me 2 days this was October 1st find out they put wrong address and ***** will not deliver until address correct by sender called again and they told me they will call ***** fix address finally got check on October 13 deposit in my bank and today I got a call from my bank the check bounced due to stop pay now my car payment is due its going to bounce because the bank took the 139 from my account now my car payment will charge me a late fee and check return fee and now its going to be a late payment on my credit report, they have caused me hardship and all they do is lie to cover each other.

      Hello. My Issues still have yet to be resolved and frankly, I dont know what even is going on with them. I had setup my program, and noticed that there were accounts that needed to be in with the rest. I requested one to have them added. They added the 3 Fortiva accounts, and by the end of the day they were rejected and removed from my program shortly after they had been added. When they initialed added these three accounts, my bi-weekly payment went up to $293.98. Once the accounts were removed by Beyond Finance my payment stayed the same. I contacted them again, they said they were enrolled but they were not. Finally I decided to call instead of emailing back and fourth. When I called I spoke with a wonderful agent who ASSURED me that they work with *******, and gladly added all 3 of the Fortiva accounts back. This however did cause my payment to increase again (for the same accounts) up to $319.81, it did not make sense to me as to why it went up again to add the same 3 accounts, but at that point it didnt matter to me because I was thankful it was resolved. Today the same thing happened, got 3 emails all the 3 Fortiva accounts removed again and my payment is still $319.81. This has become very frustrating because I have done everything requested of me, and even confirmed with someone at their ***************************** which apparently is their underwriting ***** I still am in the same boat. My payments increased twice now for the same accounts.

      I just had a live chat on the Beyond Finance app. I wanted to know how much I had left to pay. I want to be done with this. I was told $438.30. I asked does that include the $498.44 that is in my dedicated account. I was told no. I then asked will I have deposit taken out this Friday of $70.89. I was told I will still have deposit taken out until the last payment has been settled. That's not till February ****. But that I will get a refund. I was told when I talked to the woman when signing up that if I put more money in my dedicated account I would graduate faster. Well I have more money in there then what I owe and they are still gonna take out money. I want this over and done with. It seems like it's never ending.

      Beyond Finance is fraud! We had a very bad experience with them since June 2023.We contacted them about debt relief. we gave them 4 companies. they told us if we paid ****** month they would contact the businesses and pay so much to them for 48 months. We get 6 calls a day cause they were never notified. The big one for ***** settlement for *****. They took ****** out of our money for themselves and we were left the ***** to pay. They were to pay ***** for 4 months then ******. They charged themselves ***** for this settlement. On 9/21 they took another ****** for this settlement and not a ***** for the other 3. we told them about the calls and they said they want a payment. I told them you were to take care of this. I have a summary from them i asked for. they take ***** a day out for themselves. we were never notified from them about nothing what was going on. we closed our account with them and would like our money back cause we have to claim bankruptcy cause we can never pay back 4 months payments to them Our credit is ruined. *** boys credit card was cancelled and they were not included and when Care Credit got the ratings from the credit bureau they dropped from ***** to ***** and they were not included in the deal. they ruined us so bad we went to see a lawyer to claim bankruptcy and need this money for it. i called them today and they said we have ***** in our account and dont get a refund please see what can be done to help us. thank you

      "...Communications with creditors are handled on a case by case basis. Some creditors may not be contacted for several months after you enroll."


      Additionally, information about the fee related to your program and the potential credit impact can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) "Program Fees" and paragraph 13 "Disclaimer" respectively.  They read, in part, as follows:


      "Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."

      The fee referenced of $10.75 is taken and earned monthly by Crossroads Financial Technologies, not Beyond Finance.  This fee is also disclosed in your Enrollment Agreement.

      when we applied ***** from ********** told us that if we paid ****** a month it would build up and each creditor that agreed 1/2 of the bill they would get paid so much. we would never told $2,000 would be taken for yourselfs from ************ for settlements. we paid $1,132.00 to you for 4 months and all you sent us $38.50 left out of our account. you told us not to pay any creditors or you would cancelled our contract. We were getting 6 calls a day from them and never answered. we lost our *** Boys credit card and was not even in the creditors. Care credit lowered our credit from ***** to *****. we had good credit with them and paid them off twice and lost them. You ruined our credit and we have to claim bankruptcy. all the creditors we gave you have called and i talked to them all and told them what crooks you are and ruined us. Our lawyer is suing you for our money back of $1,093.50. i read in the BBB under you and everyone had the same problem. You send out this form letters. when we signed the contract was too much to read and he told us to initial it. we went by what we were told and the summary we received is not what we were told or we would have never signed up with you. Every company called us thought it was ashame of how we were robbed.

      there were so many papers that they told me to initial. there are 40 pages that i printed out for our lawyer. they never told us all the money we sent they would take. we lost 2 credit cards because of the credit bureau score dropped. i had good credit til they got ahold of me. I have to claim bankruptsy which is ashame once you put your trust into a company and they rob you. Our lawyer wants to see the documents when we go in Nov, 15th. All I want is the money that they took and didnt do anything for me.

"Timing and Program Estimates".  It reads, in part, as follows:


      "While guidelines differ widely among Creditors, in our experience an accumulation of 25%-50% of the then-current balance of a Debt and approximately 4-6 months from the last payment will normally enable us to make a good-faith offer to resolve your first and subsequent Debts."


      Beyond Finance has met expectations within regards to the timeliness of achieving settlement offers.


      Additionally, information about when the fee is earned is covered in the same section in paragraph 11. (a).   It reads, in part, as follows:


      "Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."


      Beyond Finance met all established criteria prior to earning any part of our fee.


      Records indicate that you spoke with an Account Manager recently who reviewed your transactions with you.  At that time you elected to take a withdrawal of your available funds in your dedicated account.

      This company claims to be a debt consolidation business. Since 3/23 they have deducted $3395 from my account. They stated accounts must be 6 months in arrears (they now are) in order to begin negotiations. Only 2 accounts out of 7 have been negotiated. One began with a $463 balance and has never even been contacted! They keep saying we have to have a certain amount in the dedicated account to begin negotiations but in the meantime, we keep getting letter after letter, email after email begging us to contact debtors to settle for lesser amount! One has now contacted us that account will be charged off in 3 weeks. Keep getting same answer every time we contact them. "Can't do anything until we get more money."

      In your complaint you expressed dissatisfaction with your program progress. 


      We confirmed your enrollment into the program on March 12, 2023.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about program progress can be located under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 8. "Timing and Program Estimates".  It reads, in part, as follows:


      "...dependent upon such factors as the Creditors settlement policies, the rate of account accretion, the size of each Debt and how close a Debt may be to charge-off. Some Creditors prefer that they not be contacted until you have accumulated sufficient funds in your Dedicated Account to allow a resolution within their historic norms. While guidelines differ widely among Creditors, in our experience an accumulation of 25%-50% of the then-current balance of a Debt and approximately 4-6 months from the last payment will normally enable us to make a good-faith offer to resolve your first and subsequent Debts. "

      We have requested that the business forward all communications to us from each creditor and let us know each of their responses. By their responses thus far, it is obvious all of the creditors have not been contacted as the creditors are calling and emailing constantly begging us to contact them to make a plan to settle. Two of the debts are going to charge off on 10/14 and have not been contacted. We have asked how much of our funds would be refunded as we feel our funds are being mishandled by this company. We have not received a reply as of yet to any of this.
