    Product is good customer service is a joke on hold for 25 minutes no one answers. This is extremely frustrating as my equipment broke and need the parts to fix it now.

    I've been on the Tandem t-slim x2 for two years now. It works extremely well with the Dexcom and has helped improve my A1C. As part of my routine, I also used the tconnect mobile app which really made things easier. Last Sunday 9/25/22, my mobile app stopped working so I uninstalled and went to reinstall and found the app was gone. I reached out to Tandem and they sent me a link telling me, "...smartphone devices that are not compatible with the tconnect mobile app failed their qualification tests." I've also been told, "...some devices were found to be no longer functional with the intended use of the tconnect mobile app." So what it amounts to is I and many others were inadvertently kicked out of the app because our phones were too old or we didn't have the correct brand of phone. Tandem made a decision to update the app not to include these phones. They could have chosen to make their update with the new software but also keep the older app open in order to support people with older phones and give them a deadline or warning that a change was coming, but they didn't. Frankly, never in their emails to me did they say the previous app would be removed and how many people didn't meet their criteria? Furthermore, the devices Tandem removed from their commpatibility list are connected to people like me that still wear a Tandem pump. Not only did they remove the mobile app, they also removed the up to date data reports I used to make crucial decisions.

    Tandem is the worst insulin pump on the market. I had Medtronic prior and complained, though they were so much better than Tandem. My pump constantly loses the connection to my *** which is by Dexcom and my phone still gets the *** readings. I am now switching to the Omnipod on the advice of ******************. Tandem tech support is horrible and I would not ever advise anyone to use this HORRIBLE insulin pump. The attitude within Tandem seems to be "oh well, so sorry" and they never answer when I ask them if they are an insulin dependent diabetic or have any family members who are. They should all be used car sales people cause their attitude is HORRIBLE and they TRULY DO NOT CARE about PEOPLE. Lives depend upon these devices and the GOVERNMENT should SHUT them DOWN!!!! I would give them a NEGATIVE 5 if I could.

    Tandem tx2 is easy to use and accurate, but it often has malfunctions and requires tech support. The reps are usually goo to work with but reaching them can take hours and requires repeating your ID and problem each time. My pump failed early on 9/22 and after a few tech changes they agree to send a new pump to arrive late 9/23. There was no further communication from Tandem so I contacted them with another long wait on 9/23 and was told that my pump was on its way. Late on 9/23 I received a call that somehow the order was never placed, but they would now send one on 9/24 to arrive on 9/26. Long phone waits and lost orders seem to be common and are certainly unacceptable since diabetics need constant control of their insulin. Checking on line there are many similar complaints about Tandem. The problem here is that they have a good product but very poor service. I don't know whether my new pump will arrive on 9/26 or not. I have practiced medicine for 30 years and cannot recommend dealing with Tandem.

    My wife is insulin depend. Her T Slim x2 Alarmed with a malfunction alarm. Pump locked up. Call Tandem customer service Saturday night, its now Tuesday evening and we have not received a call back. I understand that everyone is working short handed but four days is more than enough time for a return call. Very disappointed and even more unsatisfied with this company. This is medically necessary equipment. They seem to care less. This is peoples lives they seem to not care about. Their only concern is sell you a bad product

    I Have Used a Pump for 10+ Years. Ive Been On The Tandem T-Slim Dexcom G6 Combination for 2 years now. There Is Nothing I Like About It. We Were Mislead on The Cost, Ease of Use, and Supply Easiness. Tandem Online Support Has Been Hit and Miss. Ive Had Only 1 Wonderful Call Experience, and They Seem to Take Off on Weekends, or at the least Understaffed.There Is Constant Change of A Part. My Previous Pumps Were Simple, Add Insulin to a New Cartridge, Swap The New Cartridge for the Old. Nothing Inbetween Until You Ran Out of Insulin again. This Combination Has Maintenance Every 3 Days, 10 Days, 3 Months, With multiple Occlusions, Site Changes Necessary Inbetween Due to Not Sticking Properly, Not Delivering Properly, Which Requires Added Use of Extra Supplies, Which Are Expensive, and Limited **************************** Not to Mention The Daily Time Plugged In, to Recharge The Pump. This is the First Pump Ive Used That Did Not Run Off a Battery, Which is So Much More Efficient Than Being Tethered To a Wall Socket Daily.The Brain, aka Transmitter Is Suppose To Function In a Comfortable Distance From The Pump. It Rarely Functions More Than 2inches ApartHonestly Its Like Caring For a New Baby, Without The Sweet Perks. My A-1Cs are Not Any Better, and at Times Worse. I Feel We Are Guinea Pigs, While They Learn To Work The Kinks Out. Which is Understandable, Except At This Price and Personal Maintenance Time Required, I Expect More I Would Definitely Not Recommend This Combination To Anyone. Diabetes is an adjustment Without The Added Headache of A High Maintenance Insulin Pump. I Think I Would Enjoy Using The Dexcom G-6 Separate From This Pump. There Are Many Options Available, Do Your Diligence In Researching. The BEST Available Is Not Always The Best Functionality

    I am leaving a 1-star review for my overall experience with the Tandem T:Slim pump and supplies.I began on this pump in March 2022. As a newly diagnosed T1.5 Diabetic, there was a lot of training from my ************************* as well as Tandem. The Tandem technical team was great for the short time that I remained on this pump. However, call logs will prove that I continued to have issues with failed cannula sets and in the pump itself. At one time in May, the technical support team was going to replace my pump. Instead, they had Dexcom send me a brand new transmitter. This sort of "resolving" a potentially deadly issue was alarming. Who wants to wear a pump meant to save your life, but also has no faith in the same equipment? Not me! After this experience, I decided to talk with my doctor. He switched me to a different pump brand. Ever since I have been given the runaround by Tandem on returning this super expensive non-functioning pump. The last call with a supposed manager went nowhere. She was supposed to submit a new ticket to expedite my issues and work on getting the pump returned to them and also provide me the opportunity for a refund of the unused pump. Of course, I owe for the first box of supplies of 90 days. And, I was allowed to return the reorder of a 90-day supply. But, there is no word on me getting credit through Care Centrix, which Tandem was supposed to handle. I can only assume that since this manager never reached out again over the past two weeks that they are going to ignore and help me rectify this situation. I suggest caution to other patients. Also, make sure that you can actually get your supplies on time from Tandem. My insurance company is still investigating issues with my reorder that they had to force because Tandem would not release the supplies. By Tandem not releasing my supplies when I was going to need them, it would have meant me being without my infusion sets for almost two weeks. Thank goodness my insurance agent was

    The Tandem insulin pump and dexcom CGM sensor are both great products. Their supply ordering and fulfillment are absolutely horrendous. I am on automatic refill and they have managed to s**** up and delay 75% of the orders. When you contact their order support team they do not provide helpful suggestions. I notfied them that I was out of infusion sets. Instead of offering to send an infusion set overnight immediately, which I would have paid for out of pocket, they processed through insurance. This was on Tuesday. I paid for over night shipping. I had to call back Thursday to find they didnt process the order. I was told on Thursday it would process and ship that day and if it didnt they would contact me. They did not ship it, did not contact me. When I called they notified me I wouldnt have it until Monday. The terrible supply fulfillment is getting so bad it is outweighing how great the pump and CGM have been. I never ever had this issue with MEDTRONIC. I may switch back just because of how bad their supply order team has been.

    I am a Diabetic for the past 55 years. I switched to Tandem in hopes of it being a better experience. So, the demonstration was at the restaurant. He assured me the pump "it's just like your pump but its better", "you don't have to calibrate", "the sensor sends your BS to your phone" & "yes, your phone will work with App, you just need to upload the app." "Yes, if you don't like the pump Tandem will take it back". He showed me his pump. He showed all the nice things, but he neglected to reveal the bad things. For example, if you drop it, the glass will shatter rendering the pump non-functionable. I didn't know that the infusion set were so difficult to pull straight out making a problem inserting them. There are problems with the phone connecting. They have you buy their receiver $530. and you don't need it, but they don't tell you that. Meeting him in a restaurant & not bringing a system with him should have given me red flags. I guess I was hopeful. Representatives could have been honest with me. I was told I would not have a problem if I needed to return the product even though, I bought it months prior to applying it. It was left in the box unopened until the night prior to applying it. I ran into trouble with Tandem helping me prepare for training, I wore the pump 3 whole days & then had difficulty applying the new insertion sets, which ended in a dangerous situation, BG 444. I had the same problem during training. They don't tell you you're dealing with 2 companies. One may give a refund & the other not or both won't like in my case, I lost $8,105.00 & used the pump only 3 days. I was told to cancel my orders, so they won't automatically send me more supplies. I told them they knew I wasn't using the pump yet & that's why they haven't sent any yet. I told them otherwise they would have sent more by now. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I decided I wanted a refund. They won't give one. Be Careful! $8,105.00 is a lot of money. Check BBB out
