09/25/2024 Company ***resentation provides false promises and mis***resents themselves to get you to sign up for their services. The *** first said we were recommended by an unknown source, then said he was pursuing through ****** to discover authors to ***resent. First, we sincerely apologize for any miscommunication such conversation incurred to you.
After careful investigation, the findings resulted in "Poor choice of words" after having used the word manipulation.
Definitely, in the study of marketing and demograph, the more preferred word is "mind conditioning". Marketing is mind conditioning to increase marketability of the product which
in this case is your book and author's name to the buying public.
This error, however, will be dealt with seriously by our organization and as of writing, the representative has been endorsed for retraining and some sanctions.

Readers Magnet Spammers have been calling me for over a year. I'm SO tired of it!. They mention the name of my novel and claim to be a marketing consultant. They say my book was recommended by their research team and it would be a good fit for an exhibit. This time they say they're flying to ******* to join the upcoming book fair of 2024. Readers Magnet won't leave me alone. They call me with different numbers, message me on ********* and use my contact form on my website. I have told them to leave me alone, and they won't. They are not based in the U.S. as far as I can tell.Business Response

ReadersMagnet has been harassing me with calls and emails. They prey on first time authors with promises of promotion and then demand $799 for services not yet rendered. They refused to answer even the simplest of questions about the company and became defensive when asked how they acquired my personal information. Ive never encountered such an aggressive pitch before. I am making this complaint in the hopes that others might be warned about them and the tactics they employ.Business Response

My agreement with Readers Magnet was they were going to post my book, Tai Chi Mind, to my Amazon account and ******************. They did post my book on Amazon but it was only linked to their account. I asked them to correct this but they didi not. I contacted Amazon but their reply was unintelligible. Any book sold on Amazon, the proceeds go directly to them and I have not heard from them since that time.Business Response

Since the morning after i published my book, this company has harassed me with calls all hours of the day and night. They dont care how many times I tell them I'm not interested. They dont even call my buisness number, but my personal cell, and wont take no for an answer until I hang up. They just call again. I cant stand these people waking me up every morning.
