1 starI am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by this firm. I remitted a retainer of $5,500 for the completion and filing of a divorce petition. As of today, I remain married and, regrettably, find myself in a more precarious financial situation than ********* account has been billed monthly, despite a complete absence of progress on my case, which, I must emphasize, has been closed for over two years. The persistence in billing for file handling is particularly bewildering, given that my case never progressed to a court appearance. The April statement, reflecting a charge of $10,000, is particularly disheartening. I consider these billing practices to be wholly unethical.Review fromNaomi B

1 starIt is shocking the lengths they went to to put a note on my house. That was their intention. Apparently it is their business motto, predator lender.Review fromMahrya M

1 starTerrible law firm that will over charge you for every email but will never respond. They will charge you even after you fire them and will not return your documents that they worked on after repeated attempts to get them. Stay far awayReview fromTricia G

1 starI wish I could give this firm a negative 10 stars. I am disabled and my divorce case was almost complete. I only needed a judgment. I already had permanent orders for child custody, spousal support, a restraining order. My ex never responded to the divorce case at all. We had no property to divide whasoever. I wanted the judgment so I could put a lien on my ex's soon to be settled ********* comp case so I could get the $30,000 he owes me in back support. They knew I was living on disability and raising 2 teenagers by myself without any help from their dad. They filed a bunch of orders I already had, made tons of mistakes, at the end of it, they got me a piece of paper with the past due amount that my ex owes me. I had already given them close to $10,000. They quit without filing the lien, which is what I hired them for and they left me with a bill totaling $32,000. All to get a piece of paper with the calculated amount of money owed to me by my ex. A useless piece of paper because they quit on me without even telling me how to serve it. They are currently billing me monthly almost $400 in late fees every month and billing me for every email they send every couple of days with the bill attached that keeps going up. Im in worse shape than before I hired them. Now Im just in debt $22,000 with no results. Totally useless firm who take advantage of their clients. I had a traumatic brain injury a few years ago so I was in the perfect spot to be the victim of double charging, made up charges, outrages fees that are absurd. Shameful. Dont not use this firm unless you have money to burn on nothing.Review fromWilliam C

1 starDO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!************************* IS TOTALLY INEPT!BILLING AND MORE BILLING IS ALL THIS FIRM CARES ABOUT!I needed to find a ********** Lawyer to represent me in a Military switched to Defense Retirement case as I no longer reside in **********. *****************************, a former paparazzi who should reconsider his former vocation, assured me that he would get my ex to pay legal fees as it was clearly her fault if I hired him. I told him the 3 things I wanted covered in the proceedings each and every time I corresponded with him. I borrowed money to pay the $2,500 retainer and got monthly billing statements for 6 months stating all kinds of consultations and meetings were being done on my case. However, when I finally contacted him, nothing had been filed and no contact with my ex or her legal team was mentioned. But, for a further $1,500 he would move forward. Months later a stop gap measure was in place until a court date could be made. At this time I started receiving monthly bills that I could not afford. I WAS REPEATEDLY THREATENED IF I COULD NOT PAY I WOULD HAVE TO REPRESENT MYSELF. I started making monthly payments and without my knowledge The Firm got my back pay and ****** did not tell me nail I saw it on my monthly bill.An RFO was filed, but it never contained the three points I was concerned about. ****** assured me this is how it is done, but 2 1/2 years later even the judge told him that he did not include the items I requested in his RFO. Then ****** tired to force me to settle for 1/2 of my legal fees WHICH COINCIDENTALLY WAS MY OUTSTANDING BILL and not all of the issues resolved. He wanted me to file further proceedings at further billing for him and the firm.I could go on and on about Freddys ineptitude and how they passed my case off to junior lawyers.DO NOT USE THIS FIRMReview fromSergio S

1 starI paid $7,993.79 in January 2020 to ************************************************ LLP and they billed me years later for an additional $7,030.07. I initially believed this was a mistake as my child support adjustment was quickly resolved in approximately 3 months with little emails, phone calls, or paperwork. This situational was handled virtually as I was in a Senior Leaders Course in the U.S. Army. We basically knew we had to wait for my mediation date and negotiate the child support adjustment. I honestly thought the $7,993.79 I paid to this firm was way too much for horrible service but paying them $15,023.86 would be a scam. My lawyer did not show up to mediation due to an emergency and a random young paralegal or lawyer showed up. This random person did not know the details of my situation and apologized so many times for being there and not my lawyer. Immediately during mediations, I knew I was screwed so I spoke directly with the other party as I lost all faith in this firm. It was humiliating, Years went by with no contact by mail, phone, or email. September 2022, I receive an email that indicated I owe an additional $7,030.07. I now believe this is how they SCAM people out of money. They provide no real service then have you pay and keep billing you no matter what. They will not provide an itemized bill just a summary you this random money. I am a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army and I believe in integrity and doing what is right. I have strong moral values and pay my debits like a responsible adult. This seems like a SCAM and I will push to have this black-listed for all military personnel. They never once told me what these additional charges. The math and rates do not add up to $15,023.86. Management is no help; I have asked many times for their email and phone number. It seems many individuals are having similar issues with this firm.
