1 starI can not give any stars for this camera the company i work for says they want a quiet cab when drive our commercial trucks .this camera talks loud and it takes your focus off the roadway for 5 to 7 seconds this is very unsafe for the driver and others on the road it also stays green recording all the time even if you're out of the truck so that is servalance it records everything all night front and rear on lytx end they also take every ones biometric and use them to do whatever they do without you knowing or without the permission in writing its not a good piece of equipmentReview fromAlex S

1 star**WISH I COULD CLICK 0 STARS**I have been forced to use this appalling company for seven years due to a partnership requirement. Initially, their technology was acceptable, but as my partner company's guidelines became stricter, LYTX's service, efficiency, and adaptability plummeted.Firstly, they are based on the West Coast and provide zero after-hours support. Secondly, every time I reach out via call or email, I am met with an infuriatingly standard response: "We will get back to you in ***** hours." This is unacceptable.When a new competitor, ***********, entered the market and began to take away LYTX's business, I decided to cancel my subscription. To my dismay, I discovered that all my devices had been auto-renewed, and I was hit with an Early Termination Fee (ETF). The fee amounts to paying the total price per device each month for the duration of the contract, making their buyout price identical to just continuing my monthly payments.After enduring all of this, I finally canceled my service. However, I was then told that I needed to return each device within 60 days, or I would incur an extra $550 charge per device. This is nothing short of a scam, and their practices should be illegal. I demand that someone from their company reach out to me to resolve this issue, but I honestly doubt anyone there cares to rectify the situation for a once-satisfied customer.Review fromShawn S

1 starAbsolutely horrible. This invasion of human dignity should not be allowed. This is NOT a tool for safety. Only a fool would believe that. It IS a tool for trucking companies to further abuse and degrade their drivers. Truck drivers ARE human beings. They are NOT truck numbers. It is completely sickening how they are treated. Truck drivers now drive way worse than they did in 2002. It is because of these so-called safety devices and the abuse. Most decent drivers have gotten out of the horrid business. The driver facing cameras and other so-called safety devices have made the job way more stressful.Review fromAisling G

1 starThis company is the WORST! They sent an installer on a Saturday when our business was closed. Then NEVER heard from anyone ever again and cannot get ahold of anyone at this company. Their equipment is sitting in the box it came in unopened. Come get your stuff and never contact us ever again!Review fromShane B

1 starTerrible company. C*** AI. Awful to no customer support. This vendor is force fed down our throats at our company and I install their units and manage their KI program. Absolutely trash. We have multiple options to choose from and hands down lytx is the worse. There is way better companies that actually give a c*** about their customers and arent actively trying to ruin your life over bull c*** I would recommend any other brand over these people. They are power hungry and destroy your life over lies and their failure of an AI with zero accountability and no communication. I cant warn people enough to go with another brand. Their cameras ****. They break and defect right after the warranty over and over. We have 20 units and every single one has issues. The video quality is terrible. Ive see better resolutions with a 5mp disposable camera. They cant even record in 4k yet but then they are going to use the grainy crappy footage to try to get you fired with a bull c*** algorithm that apparently cant calculate everything on the fly off of the road hash lines yet if cant detect when you slam into a deer at highway speeds. So when you actually need them good luck getting the video that will help with insurance. But go thru a red light on green with a glare on the camera from the sun and it will say you ran the light. This company is literally the police and the judge so good luck trying to prove them wrong even with all the facts. They dont care assuming you can even reach someone. They are always recording so Id sue them if I was forced to use them. Even when you are off duty in the sleeper they are recording you as well as audio. They lie and say if you put the camera out of service it turns it off but thats a lie. Ive seen things that I should not see and I dont like it. You will still be recorded and trigger events even if its turned off. Im honeslty surprised their hasnt been a lawsuit against them. If I wasnt stuck in a contract Id run.Review fromChristopher V

1 starThis company is terrible. Once you get into an agreement you are trapped. Even after your term is over, they autorenew for a year at a time and you get charged for cancelling early on an autorenewed agreement! You have a small window of time to cancel without penalty, but getting a hold of someone to cancel is a joke! Customer support told me I'd get a call back from someone who could help me cancel in 3-5 business days. If I called right now for a purchase, I'd have someone immediately, but if I want to talk about my account and contract, it's crickets. This company should not be trusted.Review fromRobin R

1 starReceived this email out of the blue today at 3:32 am.I've tried to call their customer service, but it says it's an hour wait time.The problem is, I've never heard of this company and didn't order anything. I can't even speak with anyone to find out what is going on. After reading their reviews I am freaking out. 1 starThis is the worst Company !!! We cant get anyone to fix anything. The equipment they were supposes to put in apparently can wrong and missing things per there own installers. The installer took our keys and were told a manager will not speak to us to resolve anything. We are feed up its been months and we cant even talk to anyone !!!!! This is the worst experience with a company we have ever had to endure. On top of that were being charged for cameras that are not installed or working.Review fromTim R

1 starPut a 1 star for technology, but the customer service is awful. Considering moving on with another company. Its been a week and customer service can't help us with 1 important issue. So we are told to email and the email says they will get back to us within 1-2 business days. I call a contact on her personal line and have to leave a v/message every time and get no return call.Would not recommend due to customer service and I cannot get them to give me any other phone numbers so I can talk to someone other than leaving a message.Review fromJoe H

NO STAR! I put one start because I had too. scam company.We signed a year ago! The sales rep. ******** Land) would call ** every day to get us to sign, but we were reviewing more options. Sales *********** was "we have to place order asap because we are on back order on equipment, it will take about a month to receive the cameras". Finally after rep. calling us for a whole month non-stop, we finally signed with them. We signed on (12/20/21) after about a month later we receive a letter of cancellation with a fee of $10,000. We immediately try to contact the rep which by now she had disappeared, tried so many times to get in contact with her and nothing finally we contacted someone (*************************) which I'm guessing is acct ***** and I told them that we never canceled and that we are waiting for equipment because they told us that it would take a month to get the cameras in . That rep supposedly fixed the issue and told us that a person from installation would contact us next to set up appt for installations. Up to now we haven't received one single call. The only thing we keep receiving is a monthly statement for something that we haven't had installed. I still think they are a scam company!!Lytx
