On July 25, 2022 I was referred to Loan Goat from another *************** who couldn't assist me due to my job situation. On that very same day I was contacted by ***********************-Executive Assistant from Loan Goat and asked me some brief questions. I told her all I needed was to see what kind of programs they had and or if I even qualified for a loan. ***** only requested my 2 last years tax returns, so I emailed them the following day. ***** said she would have an update on July 27. On July ************************************************************************ but for sure will will get back to me by the end of day. On July 29 I reached out to her again and she said her underwriters were a little slammed, so again I did not get an answer. I texted her on August 01 and she replied saying the underwriter had a hard time opening the file of my tax returns so that caused a slight delay and said she will have an update for me no later by the end of day. After the last time we spoke I received 2 calls from 2 different lending companies telling me my credit was pulled on July 29, 2022 by another lending company and were trying to reach out to offer me their services. This is how I found out that they had pulled my credit and was in disbelief because we never agreed about pulling my credit nor did I ever signed any consent to give my permission to run my credit. I immediately tried to reach out to her and did not get a response from her at all. So I called *************************-founder and branch manager. I explained my issue to him and said he was going to remove the non authorized hard inquiry from my credit report.

The client below was a referral from one of our partners, she was interested in purchasing a home and getting preapproved. We got on the phone with her and asked her some preliminary questions and our phone call went great. In order to speed up the process to getting preapproved, rather than us sending her a link to an online application she was fine with doing the application over the phone. She gave us her consent to run her credit over the phone. After reviewing tax returns and doing a preliminary review of the entire file, the borrower was unable to get pre approved. She had also previously informed us that other lenders also told her she could not get pre-approved. We believe that she was frustrated with the answer in which we informed her that she was not eligible. We are a referral based company that strives in delivering a 5 star experience. Our experts know to ask for consent to pull credit and are aware to inform clients that in order to get pre-approved they must have their credit ran. We have several dozen other glowing testimonies from other clients of our excellent service, such a complaint ***** a small business like us

That is not true, the owner ***** stated his former assistant ***** who I talked to throughout the initial process that she was laid off due to not following the company's protocol.

This is incorrect. We have always implemented such procedures and we always ask for consent to pull credit. If we submit an application over the phone for the client we ask for verbal consent to pull their credit. If they fill out the application themselves online they click a box giving permission for us to pull their credit. We never have or will pull credit without the clients consent
