    At the beginning of December I bought one helmet and two bells for to give as Xmas presents. About a week letter I received Thank you so much for your order! I am so sorry to see your order is so late. Unfortunately, we are out of stock for the helmet you ordered. Would you like to swap it out for anything else?I sent an email back asking for a link to show me what is actually available because apparently their webmaster is laying down on the job. For a reply they said, These should be available. Just let me know the size and style please. :) no link. Asked to resend link. Radio silence. I decided Im not going to fool around with the back and forth and asked for a refund. No more replies from nutcase. No working phone numbers. ************** owns sector 9 skateboards and Pro-tec helmets, among others. All company numbers lead to same place. A telephone scam that is trying to get your information. Nutcase was a cool little company with fun designs. Now it is a shell of its former self with some greedy people who are riding on the coattails of a dead man (or dead company as the case may be). Filed a claim with my bank.

    Their customer contact email is defunct and when I called the number listed on the box of their product, it went to a general call center for rewards? completely unrelated to the company.I need to exchange the $60-something helmet I bought because the fit is not as described.Now I just want my money back.

    I ordered a helmet that arrived promptly and in good shape, however the sizing was wrong and I emailed Nutcase that same day to get a size up. I didn't hear back, so I emailed again. Nothing. After one week I decided I should initiate an exchange, but the exchange portal on their website is a dropped link. I tried calling the number registered to Nutcase and was connected to a telemarketer who wanted to sell me gift cards.I contested the sale with my credit card, and only then did Nutcase get in touch with me. They said I could return it at my expense, and when I asked to go ahead and start that process Nutcase stopped responding. Possibly because they successfully reapplied the charge to my credit card, and have my money?Long story short: Good helmets, garbage customer service they don't operate in good faith.

    Buyer beware! This business was highly recommended in the biking community. I placed an order April 8, 2023 and the website guaranteed shipping in a week. April 28th I reached out asking where my order was to be told they had issues with Shopify and to wait a week. 2 weeks later, still nothing. I sent repeat emails and then was told it was a *** issue too. The company didnt announce any issues on social media or their website. As of June 8th, their website is not longer active at all. Incredibly fishy and obviously just got scammed out of $80.

    WARNING FRAUD ALERT. Do not order from this company. Ordered a helmet with 2- day shipping on 5/10/23 - today, is 6/7/23, NO HELMET. I emailed customer service multiple times and received an AI generic reply talking about covid issues and staffing. I found the private equity that supposedly owns them and had zero luck speaking with any one there. I found their warehouse address in ********** and reached out to the CBRE agent who handled their lease. He confirmed they are located in the building but would not give a phone number or email. It is really unfortunate because we have 3 Nutcase helmets already and they are great. Apparently, everything has gone south after the founders were bought out.

    I purchased a Nutcase helmet for my kid on April 24, 2023. Having not received my order, on May 8, 2023 I emailed them asking for a status update. Same day, ******************************* (customer support) replied advising they were in process of getting my order packed and shipped as soon as possible. Having still not received my order, on May 31, 2023 I again emailed requesting an update. As of today, June 3, 2023, I have not received a response. The customer service number listed sends you to some coupon scam, so I seem to have no way to cancel my order and receive a refund, since my credit card was charged. If they are going out of business, then what they are doing is a federal crime (interstate wire fraud) as they never intend to provide the goods purchased.

    Buyer beware, fraudulent company. Placed an order after they promised a 20% discount after the order was placed, since their site was saying 20% off but it was not reflected in the check-out price. Once the order was placed, they were saying they had no access to customer orders or information and had a 1-2 week shipping delay. No progress at all on the order for weeks. Asked for a refund and was ultimately ignored and they never responded again. So, stole $70. Had to dispute this with my credit card company. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.This company needs to be shut down.
