    We were supposed to have a full service direct shipment from ********** to ** with delivery of items on November 1, 2021. I've filed a BBB complaint in March of 2022 and had no response. The movers came in a very nice truck, and my husband ensured that items were packaged/placed in a manner that would keep our items from getting damaged during the move. Our items were not only delayed, but did not come on the same truck they were packed in; hence not a direct ship move like what we paid for, what we were promised and expected! The truck that showed up had graffiti on it and had no business logo. Many of our items were broken from having been transported from one truck to another. We had no idea, until arrival that our items had been moved from one truck to another and when bringing this to the attention of **** at first he tried to say it was the same truck, until I said no I have a picture of the truck it was loaded on, did he say oh there was some issues with that truck so we had to reload them on another truck. I submitted a claim for the damaged items on 11/7/21, received a confirmation email stating it could take up to 120 days to process, but never received anything further. Emailed, called multiple times and text **** directly, but no one ever bothered to return my messages/calls or texts. When I called the main line the response would be the same, "**** handles that and he's out of the office." Included in the damage were couches, bed frames, major appliances, pictures, decorations and more. The claim has been left unanswered. No monies were ever received for the damaged items. Movers beware! It will initially appear they are professional and handle your items with care! But when your items come broken, they will ghost you!

    On Nov 20th, I congtracted with ********************** a company that subcontracts out moves, and in this case it wa Mission Transportation that ended up handling my move out of *****************************************************************. I gave them a deposit of just over $915. I spent an additional $5,830 with Mission Transportation, when I was originally quoted about 3k after several adjustments that were accurately representing the amount we had to move. When the moving company showed up, they noted that moving everything we needed to move would cost more, so I eneded up dropping items. They left someone elses items on our driveway, and didn't label all of our items, but I was trusting their process. When they left they informed me, my items would be stored and then repacked to move at a later time. When the company arrived on Jan 1, 22 at *************************************** - they are missing multiple items, and other items were damaged. I submitted multiple claims by email as instructed as well as called. My email got a form email auto-response and calls were answered but receptionist claimed right person was not available. I had damaged storage bins, with items missing and falling out. A 55" OLED ***** flat screen did not work upon arrival.2 File cabinets damaged. The top to a very large wood writing desk was missing, but the legs arrived. It had important paperwork and sentimental items inside. A green and blue flower painting and a large horse painting. Again, I get no response.

    We paid $19,000 for our home goods to be delivered from ***** to *********** *****. We received one load in June of ********************* October of 2021. Pick up date was *** of 2021.During the first delivery the movers quit so I had to get help from church members to finish. I filed a claim for grossly damaged and missing items on April of 2022. No response from **** who was in charge despite multiple messages and emails. I contacted their third party insurance company recently and spoke to ******* and was told to file a law suit against Mission Transportation if I wanted to see any money back from damaged goods because they violated their contract. I am a nursing student and my husband is a disabled Vet. I dont have time or resources to pursue that. Please help.

    Mission transportation tool our belongings to ********** when they said that they would not unload the truck. Then 2 months later after they found a truck they loaded our items and the driver went out of the way through ****** for no reason. Caused an accident and flipped the truck on ots side. Left the truck for a MO th and a half before getting another truck there. When my items finally got to me all the furniture was broken and ruined. I have been trying g to get reimbursed from mission through the insurance and they refuse to ************* or return calls. I have had to buy all new furniture. Also missing items that were given to other people because our items were in such a jumble on the truck.

    Submitted claim on January 23rd for damaged items Job # ******. ************************* confirmed receipt and said it can take up to 120 days to resolve. It's been well over that and getting close to the 9 month cutoff. Video and photos of broken large antique standing mirror were submitted. Would like this resolved as soon as possible.

    I hired Mission Transportation to move my items from **********, ** to ************, **. After unpacking, I noticed I was missing a lot of items. There were also damages to items and packages. I have reached out to Mission Transportation many times but my issues were never resolved. My phone calls were ignored. I was informed that Mission Transportation would email me a form to fill out for this issue but I never received it. I have also emailed company for this form with no response. Company did not have any issues responding back to me for the quote and services prior. During transportation, whoever was hired to move items, stole items from my backpack and other items that were transported. I am not sure who was hired but having my items stolen is inexcusable on top of damages to other items. I paid extra over what I was quoted hoping that all my items would arrive but this was not the case. I have a personal computer which contained sensitive and personal information which is now missing. After this incident my information/identity has been used for illegal purposes. When your quote goes from $5000 to $8800, you would expect that Mission Transportation would take care of your personal items.

    I got 3 BBB estimates to move. We were brought up thinking the BBB had our best interests at heart. The bids were $#*****, $28500 AND $25602 from the 3 estimates. We took the $25602 as they were also including 5 TV boxes. The move was suppose to be 2 days. The second day they stated it would be 3 so they could take their time and make it a great move. On the 3rd day Mission ran over my mailbox and water meter and knocked a boulder onto my driveway. At 3 as they were loading the last piece I was told I now owed $42000. I objected and texted the company. Their *** called. I said this wasn't right. He stated I had more stuff than estimated (look at the 3 estimates again-all under $30000). I requested they unload. Im told no. Then Im told he will look for discounts. He calls back a few minutes later and Staes it is now $39000. I again say no. Im told either I sign and pay or my furniture will be place in storage until I pay. I end up signing thinking I won't see my furniture again. After we have the next Bank Check cut the *** called and DEMANDED another $10000 in cash or he wasn't delivering. Husband got involved and they backed off. We needed to get a bridge loan to cover the new price of $26249 upon delivery. Then the driver calls and insists it has to be cash-no checks. The ****************** doesn't carry that kind of money on a Friday evening and could not get until Wednesday. Monday the driver is at then door and we give him the check. He says no I have to drive to Summerville to wire the money or no furniture. He also demanded $4000 CASH as he saiid he couldn't drive the semi down our gravel drive and he needed to rent a UHaul. Again-pay or your furniture goes into storage. NOTHING was unloaded until 3 hours later when we got back. Move not done until after 10 PM and only two beds assembled. To this date everything has NOT been reassembled and we have had a half page of items STOLEN and 3 pages of items broken or destroyed by negligent moving.

    We try to go ahead and be accurate when it comes to giving a quote but we do make it clear that it is an estimate and final charger based on actual volume taking up or packing materials needed. The clients request a full refund of about $15,000 is unreasonable. We let her know that we will gladly send her $1000 for damages related to the property at pick up but she refused anything that is not $15,000. I also told her we would gladly settle the claim at the base of coverage of insurance she keeps circling back to $15,000.

    I want the BBB to set up an arbitration over our December 3,2021 move with Mission Transportation inc. their estimator said it would cost us $25602 to move to SC. That was to include 35 art/mirror AND 5 TV boxes. They only used 13 art boxes and brought 0 TV boxes. As a result much of our artwork and TVs were damaged. On the day of 12/3/21 at 3 pm the last piece of furniture was put on the truck. I was then told my move now would cost $42000. I balked and wanted my furniture unloaded. I was told no. They came back with $39000. I again balked and was told I either sign and pay it or my furniture would go to storage until I did. Mission also refused to accept a bank check for the new remaining balance. I have since learned that LEGALLY they could not charge me more than 10% above the original estimate. I am requesting arbitration for all monies above the original estimate. And for replacement values of the TVs that were broken because there were no boxes to pack them correctly. In addition the move was never completed as we still have unassembled furniture. We have over half a page of items that were lost/stolen. And 3 pages of damaged items. This all needs addressing in a BBB arbitration!
