1 starPurchased a leaf for my dog at the ****** WI store. The store manager rang it up. As soon as I said I didn't want to join their club, she got red in the face and became very rude. She made sure to threaten me with "well, you better hold on to your receipt." Needless to say, I did. Today (5 days later) I came to return it and was told they can't return it because they can't scan the transaction barcode. They are refusing to give me my $25.Review fromAshebir G

1 starDate of Visit: April 14, 2025 Location: **************************************************** I am writing to share my recent experience at the Petco store on ***********************, which unfortunately left me feeling very uncomfortable and distressed. On the evening of April 14, I visited the store around 7:10 PM to purchase some items. While in the store, I encountered an employee who refused to assist me, stating that they were closing at 8 PM and would not provide the items I needed. When I asked for the employee's name for clarification, he declined to give it. I then requested to speak with the manager, hoping to resolve the situation. Instead, I was confronted by an individual who appeared aggressive and was holding a stick. This person instructed me to leave immediately while making threatening remarks.I felt that my concerns were not addressed adequately by the manager, who simply told me to leave without taking any action against the aggressive individual. As I left the store, the person followed me outside and took a photo of my car, which made me feel unsafe and concerned about my personal security.I hope that this review will bring attention to the behavior I experienced, as I believe no customer should be treated in such a manner. It is important for businesses to ****** an environment that is welcoming and respectful to all customers, regardless of their background. I hope future customers do not encounter similar incidents.Review fromAngela T

1 starMembership plan is nearly inescapable. Know that even though paying monthly the terms requires payment through end of yearly contract. This is not transparent and contacting customer service regarding account management is made as difficult as possible.Review fromHardy L

1 starI took my dog in for an annual check up. There was an overgrowth of yeast and Cocci in her ears. They recommended a cleaning that would cost around $200 dollars. I agreed to have them clean my dog's ear. After the procedure was done they recommend a follow up to check if the procedure went well. Two weeks later I had the Vet check my dog's ear and everything was fine. I proceed to my car only to be called back in for additional charges. I thought a follow up was just to make sure the procedure went well, but no it was for Petco to charge extra for no reason at ****** is almost like a mechanic doing an oil change for your car and asking you to come back for a follow up to ensure that no oil is leaking then charge you more money. I wouldn't recommend doing business with Petco as they only want to profit as much as possible from consumers.Review fromTiara R

1 starJust had the worst experience with the Kapolei Petco grooming and had to share. Took my standard poodle, ****** in with clear instructions. I wanted his "Lamb haircut," long afro, shaved nose/eye areas, short body/legs, clean paws, ear hair removal, and a*** expression. I even showed a picture. But when I picked him up, they shaved him completely bald, literally nothing like what I asked for. And they charged me $135 for it. I talked to the manager, Jaycia, and she was super rude and unhelpful. She even threatened me, saying her husband worked for Petco HR and that nothing I did would matter. She refused to give me a refund too.Honestly, I wouldnt recommend this place at all, especially if ***** is the one grooming. Just wanted to warn everyone before you make the same mistake.Review fromDlyn F.

1 star************************** someday delivery is a lie. February 12, 2025 I ordered my cat's food and as February 21, 2025 I still have not received my cat's food. Spoke with a ************************** customer service representative and she claimed that ************************** only offers 2-5 day delivery and not the same day delivery. I informed the representative that ************************** has their claim in print, and that either she was lieing or it is ************************** that's lieing. My warning to other pet parents customers is take caution and not to trust ************************** printed claims on same day delivery.Review fromEmilee H

1 starTheir policy changed without notification resulting in me not receiving a paid for item. They will not get it to me in a timely manner and refunds take 1-10 business days. If I was notified of policy changes I could have made accommodations. They dont resolve issues and customer service was extremely poor.Review fromPaula S

1 starI bought a dog training course from their website that would run for six weeks. The week before the classes started I decided I no longer want to participate in the classes. I tried to cancel online and was directed to call the customer service line. They said I would get a full refund back on my account within 5-10 business days. After 12 days I called back in to check on this. I was told to wait the 5-10 business days. I tried to explain it was now 12 days and the woman got very rude. I called back a week later and they said there was an error on my refund. They tried to get me to take a gift card. I refused and requested a check for the amount that I had paid. They agreed and verified my address. I was getting emails about these proceedings as well. Nothing comes in the mail. I call back after another week and get the same story about an error on my refund, an offer for a gift card that I refuse again, assurance that they will mail me a check. Endless circles, don't shop here. They burned me, I might have shopped there in the future, now I never will. They took my money then denied me a refund when I never used the training class.Review fromMartha B

1 starThey are terrible. They said they would give me prescriptions for Heartguard and Brevecto -- and that they would email them to me. No, they did not. ANd when I called, they said I needed to go into Petco/ Vetco and wait again in line and then do the process all over. They also said a manager would call me to see what they could do instead of me waiting in line, once again. The manager never called. Thier customer service is terrible. Not worth saving a ***** or two to go there for vaccinations. Why can't I give them a NO STARS rating? ******Review fromLindsey H

1 starOnly seconds after handing over the leash, and after the vet tech slipped a choke leash around my dog, the employee allowed my dog to get out of both leashes. He then proceeded to blame me, despite me being completely around the corner. He proceeded to tell me how I needed to adjust the collar - yet my dog has never once gotten out of her collar in my care. Next, due to his terrible handling of my dog, she was nervous and tried to get away at the moment of her getting a shot. He then told me my dog has aggression problems and that she'll need to be muzzled next time. This guy clearly doesn't know how to handle dogs and needs customer service skills and dog training. Each time we have gone back, the techs do a worse job and are making it so my dog is a nervous wreck - they say it's for liability reasons - well, how about you let owners handle their own dogs and erase all the liability? What is with the new policy where owners are not involved with helping at the doctor? It makes absolutely no sense and is completely asinine.I've had dogs and cats my entire life and have never raised an aggressive dog, nor have I ever had a single issue taking them to the vets. VETCO is cheap, but it will instill fear in your pets.
