Update to the companys last response since I cant reply to the last response from my original complaint. I have never applied for a loan or anything else online. I have asked the name of the company and they have told me repeatedly they worked for Global Equity Finance. I have asked repeatedly to be removed from the system as I am not interested in their services. Your company continues to call daily with No respect for the customers wishes. This is harassment. Again. Cant believe this is good business practices. I will and never have done business with a company that keeps calling for business. I will keep posting complaints with any and all agencies if this keeps happening.

      Sorin,

Will be handled immediately and calls reviewed. Anytime a client asks to be taken off the list- we absolutely do so.  Our sincere apologies if we failed you here.  Will look into and research and take corrective action.

I get an average of 5-9 calls a day. I have repeatedly asked to be removed. I have never been harassed so much from a company before. I cant imagine this is good business practices.

      Sorin,

We train each individual to remove a client off the call list once they have requested removal. Following up to see if and why this was not done.  Our apologies. Keep in mind when you apply online it is sold to 5 different Companies to call you at minimum. It is likely we are not the only ones calling you.

I have been getting an average of 4 calls a day from this company, with whom I have never done business. I asked the last caller on 10/6 to stop calling me, but I received 3 more calls today. I have reported each call to the Do Not Call Registry, as my number has been registered as Do Not Call since 2007. I request no further harassment from this company.

      Business response

      10/12/2022

We will check this- and remove your # from any of our call lists.  We only call people who have solicited a request.  Sometimes someone puts in other people's #s.  Apologies if somehow your # was added.

Received a deceptive spam advertisement designed to look like it was an urgent message from my mortgage company. There is no identifying information on the outside of the envelope, nor is there an easy to find address identifying the spammers. Only in the fine print on the back are their details revealed. If this is such a great product, why the scummy tactics?I called to have them remove me from their mailing list today, Sunday 09/11/22 @ 842am. I called ************ and asked the rep to remove me from their mailing list. He replied "OK!" and hung up on me without asking for my info. The only other option they provide to remove you from their list is to register with DMAchoice, a third party, for a fee. Well wouldn't you know it, I've already done that! And Global Equity Finance sent me a scummy spam letter anyway, in violation of their agreement with DMAchoice!I will be contacting DMAchoice to report this violation as well.I am requesting an apology for sending me spam against my wishes and in violation of their agreement with DMAchoice in addition to a permanent removal from their mailing lists for the next ten years, the same time frame stipulated by DMAchoice.

      Business response

      09/14/2022

Absolutely we apologize for the client being treated less than 100% kindly by an agent.  This is not the behavior we teach and if the client would not mind advising on ************* of the call- we can take action towards the individual.  Client will also be removed from the mailing list.

      Customer response

      09/14/2022

Removal from the mailing list is the least they can do. Addressing their scummy advertising tactics is also called for. Why send a notice to me that is disguised to look like it's from my mortgage company? If GEF does business in good faith, why the deceptive advertising?

This is not the first time GEF has engaged in fraudulent advertising:

      https://www.yaktrinews.com/*************-issues-warning-of-fake-mailing/

GEF was engaged in a similar scummy business tactic 7 years ago! Imagine all the people they have deceived over the years!

Providing them information on their own employees is an odd request - does GEF not monitor calls for quality assurance? Perhaps they should do their own internal investigation instead of requesting the consumer do their work for them?

      No further correspondence is necessary.

      Dear **************,

The complaint you referred to was created by a marketing Company hired on behalf of Global Equity.  When Global Equity realized the marketing error- they discontinued any further association with this Company and worked hand in hand with the State to resolve.

Your alleged subsidiary, "Z Finance, ***** has contacted me half a dozen times over the past week. I've asked them not to contact me several times. I am on the do not call list. They continue to solicit and call me. The company has (A) said Z Finance is licensed in MA, though no such license or business entity exists; (B) has stated after a conversation had been conducted that it was recording the conversation, without my consent, in violation of MGL 272 sec. 99; and (C) refuses to provide information about the company.

Between 06/04/2020 and 09/05/2020 I spoke ** **** ********* on the phone regarding refinancing my current home mortgage to reduce the percentage rate. I was continually asked for paperwork. I was told this would be a quick process. I paid $490 for an appraisal and I want that money back. To this date I have not received a copy of the appraisal or a denial letter from this company. I have attached a more detailed account of this situation.

      Business response

      05/02/2022

Please send your request for a copy of your appraisal to *******************

**** ******** has not worked for Global in some time.

      Customer response

      05/03/2022

It doesn't matter when he worked for you. I have not heard from you in some time also; does that mean the things I stated didn't happen? I have documented proof. You recorded every phone call and have every email sent. Your appraisal does me no good now. It won't work for another mortgage company. You strung me along as you did other people who have submitted complaints. Refund the money I paid.

      Business response

      09/19/2022

We'd be happy to send you a copy of the appraisal you paid for.  This is paid directly to the Appraiser and not us.  Your file was cancelled because you ceased communicating with us.  Unfortunately while we wish we could have completed your transaction for you- we were unable to as you never sent us outstanding conditions and we were unable to get a hold of you.

This is an obvious lowlife scam lending institution who figures they can just pay dues to the BBB and get an A+ Rating. They comb public records for people's personal loan information and then send them unsolicited ******** disguised as from the current bank in order to try and push fraud loans with shady terms. They're the lowest of the low in lenders. I received such a piece of ******** from this crooks

      Business response

      02/21/2022

      *****,

We work hard to provide some of the best rate and programs in *****************.  While we cannot please everyone- we are sorry that you must have had a bad experience.  Could you provide more details on whom you spoke with?  We have no record of you speaking with one of our Consultants and would like to take this opportunity to train our staff on a better level of Customer Service.

      Customer response

      02/21/2022

Clearly these clowns didn't even READ The complaint.   As stated, AGAIN, these lowlifes pry into people's mortgage and loan info to send out ******** solicitations posing as correspondence from your bank to try and push their scam ripoff loans.     I do not want these criminal in my info, I NEVER want to hear again from these criminals, and they should be investigated and put out of the public misery, REGARDLESS of whether or not they pay the BBB dues

      Business response

      02/22/2022

I did read your complaint thoroughly.  Paying BBB dues is not nearly enough to achieve an A+ rating. If you'll note... we have a 5 star rating on Zillow (with over 800 reviews) 5 star on trustlink, and 4.7 on ******* (Over 600 reviews) We work hard to deliver the best possible service... and far superior ratings than many of our competitors (Such as Loan Depot and Rocket). We have already taken you off any mailing list... so not sure what else you need us to do.  Let us know.

      Customer response

      02/28/2022

AActually, it is enough, as is having your employees fill out positive reviews for you. Nice try, though. And no, genius, you didn't READ the complaint, because it obviously didn't sink in that thick head, and you don't strike me as someone bright enough to know how to read. Next contact I get from you scumbags and I'll make sure it's your last, ever. NOBODY wants your scam junk mail, sleazebag. Had you finished high school, maybe you would've been able to understand that

This agent by the name "*************************" aggressively called me. We talked and I gave her my personal information SSN, DOB etc. BUT after she "hard-pulled" my credit report, SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I am worried if the what the company is up to or even legit. She got all my personal information. NO CLASS or DECENCY to call back. I am worried. Say even if I did not qualify, as an agent she needs to still call me back to report what's agoing on?

      *******,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for ****** not returning your call and have taken corrective action. ****** is also deeply apologetic and understands this is not how we treat our customers or how she would ever want a customer to feel treated.  She has reached out to you directly and been instructed on proper customer service.

I began to refinance my mortgage with Global Equity Finance in August. I currently have a 3 percent interest rate on my mortgage. I signed documents with Global Equity Finance that locked in and guaranteed a **** percent interest rate. Global Equity's employee, ***************************, that I dealt with told me multiple times that all we needed was the appraisal for my home to finish the refinance. I spent 900 dollars on the appraisal. From the beginning of the transaction, **** was aware that my home was a manufactured home. On September 24, **** informed me that the lender he chose did not finance manufactured homes, that we needed to use a different lender, and that the **** interest rate was now impossible. He tried to sell me on refinancing to a **** percent interest rate while dropping off the mortgage insurance. This would have lowered my payments per month, but cost me thousands of dollars over the life of the mortgage. I refused and asked for a refund of my 900 dollars.

Thank you for reaching out. Your loan is neither out of reach or dead.  However, I have been trying to contact you regarding the details.  You are still qualified for your ****... but time is of the essence or your lock will expire.  I've left you 2 voicemails.  As I will be out of the Country tomorrow- You can reach ********************************* the Chief ********************************* ************
