For a therapy clinic to not be helpful to someone unfamiliar and new to the therapy process is disgraceful. My wife was finally ready after years of trauma to enter into therapy and contacted this place. We confirmed we would be paying copay which we paid for each session. Our insurance provider failed to provide the right name for my wife and ***************** warned my wife ONCE that she needed to get the name changed for the claim to be processed. We contacted our healthcare provider and they were able to get her name changed but asked if we could let ***************** know she would need to re-submit the claim. We shared this info with ***************** who proceeds to send us an invoice while blocking my wifes number preventing future assistance in the request of our insurance provider for her to re-submit the claim under the correct name. For a therapeutic facility to treat their clients like this is utterly disgraceful and shows this person is not helpful despite having a therapist title. I would never recommend anyone using this place and *****************. Disgraceful, disgusting, and disrespectful.Timeline:1/10/2024 Provider checks with Insurance to ensure coverage & clarifies we only owe a $30 copay.01/12/2024 Contract signed in agreement that coverage is provided.02/21/2024 Provider asks for insurance updated, inquiry sent to insurance for name change and new issues card.03/02/2024 Provider states any accumulated charges are to be paid asap. After speaking with insurance and clearing up information, the name charged was under *************************************, the charges were denied as the patient was *******************************; insurance asked the charges be resubmitted. Provider declined to resubmit and is charging regardless. Stating we must go through insurance for reimbursement.Insurance Claims; claim numbers and dates included.

The claims were filed and paid under my name (*************************************) because you refused to correct them to my wifes name. We have paid for the services in full and request a refund. We spoke to United Healthcare and explained our situation. They tried to contact you but you ignored them. They have asked us to report this as fraud because of your inability to get back to them.

All documentation was provided in the initial complaint.

As a therapist you need to cut out the lying and stop traumatizing my wife further. Youve emailed her saying she blocked your emails which she did not. You blocked her phone number when we were trying to get this resolved.

I can not respond to this request for documentation. The patient would have to sign a release of information due to HIPAA regulations and medical privacy.

I shouldnt have been a customer but due to improper claim filing by the business and their refusal to adjust the claim under my wifes name, the claim was filed under me and I was forced to pay for the services.
