I was towed, on the parking lot of Midas auto in Pacific beach **. Basically this company Tows any vehicle parked there after business hour. The manager of ***** said that nothing they could do once they are hired by the owner of the building, that owns the whole block . I run to pick my car at the garage at that night , but they didnt release my car without paying a after hour fee! 485$ + 110$. Very rude young lady at the office. She told me we patrol that area ?!?????. ZERO STAR !

This company tried to tow my car all the way to ****** when I live three blocks away from why my car was .I refused to allow them to tow my car to ****** ** .they tried to force me I called triple a back and had them send a different tow company. Wind in sea came again and said they were towing it .I told them no that triple a was sending a different tow company. They guy got mad and said he was towing it .I told told him no again and said I would call the police if he tried to tow it .the first tow truck driver from wind and sea dropped my car on the ground when I refused to allow him to tow it to ****** ** instead of 3 blocks down the street to where I live .he caused way more damage to my car by dropping it on the ground because he was mad that I had refused to have my car towed to there lot in ****** ca over 30 miles away from my home.they are scam artists stay away from this company.

Sounds like they are playing the same scam on multiple people. I called AAA for a tow service for my Tesla to be towed 1.9 miles to a body shop near my house. The driver towed my car to the shop and then told me that it was not covered by my AAA premiere membership and then wanted $390.00 for the service or else they would not release my car to the body shop. I later followed up with AAA and investigated what happened. AAA had stated they cancelled the service call from AAA but it should have been covered by my membership. Don't be fooled they are under contract by AAA and need to tow your car if you have membership. In the process of getting reimbursement from AAA.

I ordered a tow truck using AAA and once I ordered it the tow truck driver called me right away and asked me what was wrong with the car. I told him a hose ripped and leaked all the coolant out. He said OK Ill be there in three hours. He arrives and asks me what the problem was. I explained again that a hose was torn, and the coolant spilled out. He then said AAA does not allow us to tow cars that are leaking fluid. He then told me he can tow it, but it will cost $275 an hour and that if I had full coverage on my car that they would reimburse me. Right away I knew he was lying about Triple A not towing a car that has a leak. What would be the point of having AAA if they cant tow your car if it's leaking? He couldve told us that over the phone that it wouldnt be covered by AAA and I would have to pay out of pocket. He was trying to scam two women who barely had phone signal where it was getting cold and dark in the middle of nowhere. I denied his service and told him to cancel the tow. Luckily a friend could pick us up, but it took another two hours for him to get there. We were cold and hungry and left stranded for 6 hours just because a tow driver wanted to scam two women. The next day I looked up the company and found many reviews saying they got scammed by them. I feel bad for their future customers that wont be as lucky as I was who had a friend that could help me get towed. They are taking advantage of people in a vulnerable state and should be stopped.

Friday august 26, 2022 I called triple aaa and asked them to send a tow for my Tesla that had been in an accident. The tow company was ********** and the driver refused to tow car to collision repair shop stating it has to go to the insurance yard (lie) to wait for the claims adjuster (lie again) so that insurance can decide what to do. Tow driver lied because it is their standard operation to take cars once in an accident to their tow yard and insist the car stay their until claims adjuster comes. This generates about $400 a day in fees until the car owner grows a brain and sends another tow company to get the car out of their lot and over to a collision repair shop. Triple aaa policy is clear that the tow company is to tow the car to a shop that you choose within limited miles and in my case I had the 50 mile tow aaa card and the shop was about 12 miles away. I insisted the car go directly to a collision shop and he stated aaa policy prevented him from towing it. I then offered to pay out of pocket to have him tow the car and he refused and began to insult me as an idiot stating it had to go to the insurance lot. Fact is their is NO insurance lot. Its their tow lot. And it was Friday afternoon so this was a high stakes game to get the car in their lot knowing it would take at least until Monday for me to figure out I had been scammed and to send another tow to get the car out of their lot. Wind n sea are gangsters and can not be trusted. They will get possession of your car and extract money from your insurance and if insurance wont pay then from you. Claims adjusters will go to a repair shop and assess damage and costs without your car sitting in their tow yard at 400 a day in charges. And you wont have to tow car again. When I confronted the driver over the scam and asked him to leave immediately he claimed I was being rude and tried to escalate the situation to violence. Not only are they going to steal your money they might beat you up.
