      This company is a horrible nightmare!!! They never return a phone call or email and make you jump through hoops to get paid for damage. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! After you submit all of your claim info they just come up with their own low ball amount. You are wasting your breath when you call them. My claims *** was rude, unhelpful and could not have tried harder to not pay us. Zero and I mean zero guidance or advice! VRBO should be ashamed of using them! Talking to ***** ****** our claims *** was torture. She was horrible to work with and hung up on us when we asked a question. Just said thats not how we do it and hung up! Go with ****** NOT VRBO because **** uses them (hopefully not for much longer)!If you are thinking of using them think again!

      This scam of a company needs to be shut down ****. I booked an ****** and bought their worthless insurance thinking the refund would be automatic once I canceled. Instead, I got punted over to Generali, their shady partner in crime, who had the nerve to demand "proof" I couldnt make the trip. Fine, I sent them a medical appointment confirmation. But these sleazy jerks still werent satisfied and asked me for a HIPAA authorization and a doctor's noteall just to refund a lousy thousand bucks. And ******? Totally useless, they basically said "not our problem, go deal with insurance." Never, ever use these fraudsters unless you want to get ripped off.

      My rating for my experience with this company is a 0. They take your money, no questions asked, and charge it to your credit card. But then when you need to file a legitimate claim to request a refund, you have to submit a document with questions on it that is absolutely none of their business. Like wanting a copy of your driver's license and a copy of your credit card statement showing the charge. What the heck?? They already have your credit card info and know what they have charged. After reading previous reviews, I decided that, for the money I would lose, it just wasn't worth the trouble to go forward with filing since apparently they take their sweet time refunding the money, if ever. But the way I look at it is that, in the long run, my review is probably going to lose them more money than what they would have ended up having to pay me. And it's my opinion that it's also the vacation rental company's responsibility to insure that they are providing their customers with the option of a ********************************************* that's going to do the right thing, which is get the customer their refund in a timely manner without all the hassle that you get with this travel insurance agency. But in followup of many reviews before me, DO NOT PURCHASE this insurance. It would be better to go to a private company that has a good rating to purchase your travel insurance if you feel you need it.

      DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL INSURANCE. I am surprised that ------ Hotels allows it. Don't think I'll use them again either. You can cancel in the so called allotted time but trust me, you aren't getting your money back...for any reason whatsoever.

      ****************. Do not buy trip insurance from them. ************ went out of business. Apparently this is not a covered reason for reimbursement. I tried to get the trip insurance transferred to rescheduled tour with another company. At first they agreed to do this. Then decided not to. Kind of a scam. Just lost $407.00. Sad.

      I had a very positive experience. My trip was cancelled due to a medical condition which necessitated treatment immediately. I submitted paperwork (including drs statement) and Generali paid me very quickly.

      Do not use this company. We had a horrible experience. We had to cancel a trip due to a medical emergency. Went to their claims portal to try and get our money back. They did everything possible to make it as difficult as they could. Requested the sane documents over and over no matter how many times I sent them either on their portal or email. I called their customer service and requested to speak to a supervisor six times. No one ever called us back. After two and a half months I finally sent emails to the CEO of the company to let him know the issues we were having. He never responded either but must have made some calls because shortly after that the claim was settled. No direct communication from anyone during this time. If this is ***** preferred travel insurance provider, Id hate to see their worst. Dont bother using this company unless you want lots of headaches.

      It was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I got sick and had to cancel my trip. The paperwork in this company makes one give up. They don't answer calls and respond to emails very late. I'm a teacher and have financed my ticket through Affirm, but this process will not help me reach anywhere. I am frustrated and disappointed, and I feel neglected. Please don't buy your insurance from them.

      I never imagined that filing an insurance claim would turn into a nightmare. My experience with Customized Services Administrators (CSA) and Generali has left me terrified to this day. While handling my ****** claim, **** *******, a claims representative, sexually harassed me and abused his access to my personal information. Instead of addressing the misconduct, *** has ignored my complaints, refused to apologize, and is still fighting me.**** ******* had access to my home address, phone number, date of birth, and other private details as part of my claim. At first, I thought he was just handling my case, but then he started calling me late at nightat all hoursfor no legitimate reason. The conversations became personal and inappropriate. I felt trapped because this was the person in control of my claim, someone who knew where I lived and had full access to my information.I reported his behavior, expecting CSA to protect me. Instead, they did nothing. They never acknowledged what happened, never took action against him, and never apologized. Instead, they have fought me every step of the way, refusing to take responsibility for what their representative did.Even now, I live in fear. Does he still have my address? Will he show up at my home? Will he do this to someone else? *** has never reassured me that I am safe. They have protected him, not me.This company is dangerous. If you are a woman, do not trust CSA or Generali. They will allow their employees to abuse their power, ignore serious complaints, and leave you vulnerable. No one should ever have to go through this.I am sharing my experience because I dont want anyone else to suffer. *** has refused to do the right thing, so I am warning others: Stay away.
