I had all the windows indoors in my entire home replaced by Renewal by Andersen in early 2019. One of the reasons I select of them is their "lifetime leak guarantee."In February 2022, we discovered some mold coming from beneath the carpet near one of the patio doors that have been installed. The carpet and adjacent flooring was new in 2017. I contacted the general contractor who had installed the carpeting and adjacent floors, and he determined that the mold was extensive. He needed to remove the entire room of carpeting, and all of the tile in the kitchen because the subfloor beneath it was also wet.We soon realized that the water was coming from that very patio door. I contacted Renewal by Andersen and they agreed to send over a technician. There was a several week delay, but eventually a person named ****** came to assess the problem and damage on March 30, 2022. ****** immediately became aware of the leaky door when we demonstrated the water intrusion by spraying light water near it. He took photos and a video of the water running into the house. Thereafter, I received an email from **************** Manager *********************. He requested additional photos, which I provided immediately. After weeks of emails back and forth ***** finally set a date (May 10, 2022) to come view the damage himself. He came with an independent insurance estimator. They determined that the installer had forgotten to put weatherstripping in the proper spots of the door. The estimator measured all of the areas where the mold and resulting damage occurred. By then, I had the mold removal completed and some repairs done (we have a baby living in our home and couldn't delay). It has now been over seven weeks since they were at my home and saw the damage with their own eyes. I have requested an update from ***** every week, and each time I am told that they are "working on it." Far too much time has passed and I have spent enormous amount of my own money repairing damages.

Andersen Windows has launched a massive spam campaign against me. Every day my inbox is filled with more junk ads from this outfit. I see from *************** on Andersen that I am not the first victim of this campaign. The messages are coming from this address (which I assume is fake): *********************************************** I would like to know what kind of action can be taken against this assault. Is it possible to file a legal complaint for harassment? Can the company be sued for continued harassment and filling up my email with messages I have specifically asked to have stopped? Can the BBB make them knock it off, or report them to authorities in whatever state this stuff originates from? Nothing I do to block incoming from these company works to stop the blitz.
