Date 10/18/2024 car displaying a code p0073. They checked and stated most everything was covered by the dealership, as they needed to do routine maintenance, oil change, etc. then they stated that some wires looked like they were intentionally cut. we asked to halt any services and if they can take any pictures as we may have to go through insurance if someone damaged the car. They stated they would have to fix it and quoted $910.00. we stated we did not have the funds. they said they could not stop and it was already being fixed. we were transferred to the *** who preceded to tell us that they cannot just stop because of the possibility of being sued. We asked that they please stop as there may be need for legal action if the wires were tampered. we asked again for pictures and they refused to halt any repairs and stated that, if we cannot pay they will hold the car and not give it back. inittially we talked to fredererick ************* then argued stating that if we are going to sue, he will stop talking to us (as he was yelling at us). We kept going back and forth that if someone tampered with the car there is a possibility that we may need to go through the insurance which they stated they cannot due anything and we will have to pay and they will continue the work. We went to the dealer, where they stated they already finished all the work but they would only charge us $650.00. I decided to pay and stated we would be filing a complaint because they refused to stop and listen to us. I also asked to see what they did. they stated they did a lot of work that was covered by the dealership but the wires were not. they did not use new parts for anything and just taped up the wires, claiming it took two hours, but the two hours were for all the parts covered and the wires and they charged for all two hours. this whole ordeal only took two hours from the call until they completed there supposed job when we got there.
