      This company is terrible. They raised my monthly payments for no reason and without telling me. I also hit a deer and went to file a claim just to find out I wasn't covered. I traded my old truck in and leased a new truck (same make and model just a different year) at which point a call was made to notify them I was purchasing a new vehicle. The vin number was never switched so I was paying for coverage on my old vehicle for over a year. On top of that I had to pay $7,000 out of my own pocket to fix my truck because my claim was denied even though I was actively paying for insurance. They would not help me at all. This has put me in a bad spot financially.

      I had sent an email to Esurance asking to cancel my policy-effective immediately (twice). Both times, my message was deleted without being read (I always attach read receipts to my emails). Had I not attached a "read receipt" to my email, I would have either continued to be billed or my insurance would have lapsed affecting my credit. Reason for cancelling: my monthly payment went from $329 to $750 without any warning or reason!

      I have been with Esurance for 6 years. My car was hit by a deer. I have comprehensive coverage and was told they did not believe that a deer hit my car and denied my claim. I call the supervisor Roshea Haygood 3 times and left messages questioning why my claim was denied and I submitted pictures of the damage clearly showing the deer fur embedded in the pain on my car. This supervisor never returned my calls.

      Esurance is awful. I was with them for a 6 year period and all they ever did was squeeze me for more money every 6 month interval. I've had no tickets or accidents in at least 10+ years. My policy started out at $168 and when I finally canceled it was $319. After canceling I was charged $19.35 for no reason whatsoever. They treat their customers as walking wallets and hit you with phantom charges and hidden fees. Do yourself a favor and go with literally anyone else. If you don't believe me then at least read some reviews before you make the choice.

      This business is a DISGRACE. We were hit by someone who had esurance and it has been a nightmare trying to get reimbursed for the totalled car due to their negligence. They offered a despicable amount for the car, in which we did their job and sent them listings of similar cars within 500 miles and they offered us only $300 more when these cars were THOUSANDS of dollars more. So not only am I forced to buy a new car that is worse than the car I had before an accident that I wasn't at fault for, but now have to deal with the pain and headache of dealing with medical bills, purchasing a new vehicle and being without a vehicle for over a month and a half. These people should be ashamed of themselves & deserve even worse than a 1 star rating.

      I was hit by a drunk driver on the evening of Good Friday, 2024. The driver ran thru a stop sign and totaled my car. Luckily my wife and I were not hurt but the outcome I believe is terrible. I am out $5,000 from this accident. My car was a 2016 ****** Maxima and I had to pay $3,000 more because I wanted to get the same car that was totaled - not just some random replacement. The driver - a TWO TIME DRUNK DRIVER - gets her job back while I have no way to get the money I am out. I called Esurance and was told that based on estimates of car values for a 2016 Maxima they only can give me that value. I totally understand that but the lack of help and also lack of inventory changed things. They did not fight for me to at least get the difference between what I paid and what was given to me. WHY DO I HAVE TO LOSE MONEY WHEN I DID NOTHING WRONG? The police reports confirm what happened. The driver was arrested and jailed for 2 days for leaving the scene of the accident. How is that fair to me? I had upgraded my car and got new rims, tinted windows, and rain vents. Esurance claimed those are not covered in my policy. THEY NEVER TOLD ME THAT BUT SURE TOOK MY PAYMENTS MONTHLY....... INSURER BEWARE.

      My wife was a victim of a hit and run recently. Esurance seemed more like an obstacle rather than my insurance company. We couldnt get anybody to call or email us after multiple attempts by us. We got our car fixed in spite of them. They are the worst company regarding customer service that I have experienced. Run Stay away!!!

      I have to tell you that this company policy is poor to say the least. I called to cancel service, they told me that the policy would be canceled. I am owed money and they would refund the payment method I previously used. I told them that I no longer have the card so please issue a check to me. The sales *** and manager tell me that they have to still attempt to send the money back to the card I told them no longer is valid and then when they see it is not active then they will issue a check to me. That makes absolutely no sense to me. If I tell you it is not active why would you still try? Horrible experience and the way you do business is terrible.

      They gave my information personal and financial information to a new auto insurance company without my verbal or written permission. They ended my contract and gave my bank account and routing number to 'Direct Auto Insurnace' without my consent. That company charged $580 to my account without my consent. This is wrong and Esurance justified it by saying that they mailed & emailed me a letter saying this would happen. Why didn't they just end my contract and not give my info without my consent? This is not just happening to me. Esurance is leaving CA but did not end my other contract that is set to expire until 12/7/24. Beware ppl.
